turtle - I'm so sorry you were cancelled again. I see you might be on your way over to the Jan/Feb board. Come on over!! I'm praying that January/February 2010 (or before) will be your time!!

Hi ladies got a question for you. I had my beta on nov. 12, and it was negative. Since then, I had my period (which lasted waaaay longer than normal). Odd thing is, i'm spotting again now, and nauseous. I even vomited on Saturday (which is very rare). I'm not really thinking the test was wrong, but have any of you experienced this? I'm on BCP preparing for an FET in Dec.

hi ladies, i had ET today for 2 embies. RE didn't update us on sunday. when we went into his office to sign the doc. he's disappointed and told us he was thinking to give us at least 3 blasts. It turned out only 1 blast of 2AB was developed, the rest were morulas. i don't know what is morulas. anyway, DH then asked him what will be the best time to transfer this is the case. RE told us to have ET immediately. He ordered assisted hatching of 2 embies and had us sign and choose for the options just in case if 2 embies multiply, whether we want to eliminate some of them or not. my DH wanted to see if we could wait and see but RE told us that we need to decide immediately. i decided either 4 or none and chose no elimination. I was required to have 72 hours bed rest and no shower in 72 hours. My DH didn't allow me to use computer and wanted me to have more rest. After all, we don't even know if there's any left to make it through freeze and we paid for a single cycle fee only. i rest and rest and now i couldn't sleep. i can grab my laptop and read the posts here at 4am.

Franny: sorry for the cancellation! i know it's very frustrating and disappointed when you hope for so long. Hopefully, your turn really will be January or before February.

Katie99: hang in there. when it comes, it will be very fast and you won't believe it.

teachermom: congrats to BFP! i heard someone who had spotting 12 days after transfer. she is pregnant with twins.

dodo-you are PUPO!!! That is crazy they made you make that decision so quickly and under that kind of pressure but I hope that the two embies stick and that you get a BFP!

franny-that is too funny that you are still going to take your trigger shot, but you NEVER know! That would be amazing if they DR was wrong and you proved them wrong!!! I know that you will be an amazing support for the Jan/Feb thread as you have here...I will keep a watch on you and have my fingers crossed

BRMommy-the spotting is pretty normal on BCP and I'm not sure what the nausea is from, but they wouldn't have started you on a new cycle if there was anyway you were preggers. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

afm...I went in this morning and my follies are doing well!! I have about 6 on right that are between 12-14mm and 2 on left which are about 13mm and a bunch of small ones!! My lining is at a 5.5 so far!!

Hi girls-

Is anyone else having a problem with the site? I've had 2 posts eaten!
Its been sort of quiet here lately, and with yesterday's sad news I just didnt have the heart to try to post. On a high note though, there are 4 betas tomorrow! I've got my fingers crossed for them all!

Franny -I'm still upset that you've been cancelled. I hope you'll stick around, but I totally get what you mean by ivf has consumed your life, I feel the same way. Honeybunny -I'm hoping that your DH comes to his senses. To have 100% ivf coverage & want to stop while you are pining for a baby?

Franny - My RE is Dr Hardy (i like him!), but Dr Hill was the one who did the transfer for me (i don't like him either!) Sometimes I just want to put the blame on his transfer for my BFN last cycle. I told Dr Hardy, this cycle, he needs to do the transfer for me. Hahahah, so he asked if I don't like Dr Hill, and I said that it's not cause I dont like him, I just rather have you. He kept saying Dr Hill is very good at what he does. I said, so? I want you this time, and he finally said of course as long as he's available.

I went for my bw/us this morning, 10 follies on the right that's <10mm, and 8 on the left that's <10mm. Then she also wrote down for the right follies 9hc ??? wth does that mean? I should have asked.
I just got my instructions now, and I'm confused. So now im lowering my Lupron to 5units every morning..fine. But then, I'm not starting my 225 Gonal F until Friday?? Why is that?? Last cycle i started right after my bw/us, and a week later I got to trigger. What could be the reason for it being delayed???

franny: So so sorry you got cancelled hon. Big hugs! Don't be too sad, look at me, RE canceled me on Tues, I got AF on Fri, then started stims on an antagonist protocol on Sat. Now 20 days after that dreadful phone call of cancelation, I am in 2WW. Hang in there, the new protocol might just be what you needed. Have a fun week with DH!!!!!!

Happy holiday wishes to everyone. Can't wait to hear from everyone doing betas today!

AFM - I got the results of my E2 after three days of stims and it isnt looking good. My e2 went from a basline of 53 to 54.9. I am crushed. They are upping me to 300 of Gonal F with 150 of Menopur. I am worried they are going to cancel my cycle. I have two days before my next blood test and u/s.

Has anyone else had numbers this low after three days of stims?

TC4474 - Yes, it happened to me on a microdose lupron protocol.
my e2 was only 20 on day 5 they upped my meds & it made it to 77 by day 7 or 8. I did get cancelled, but there was a dominant follicle going on.
Are you on a lupron protocol? It can over suppress some women. I hope that increasing your meds does the trick - crossed for your cycle!

Katie 99 - Thanks for the message. I took Lupron 20 cc for 10 days. My dose is now cut in half. Is that a microdose? Hopefully I'm not over suppressed.

TC4474 - That seems like alot, I'm a poor responder so even microdose was too much for me. I was on 2 units AM & 2units PM. No more lupron for me, last was antagonist & this upcoming is too. I think its early enough in your cycle to bounce back from. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. When do you go for next b/w & u/s? Dont get too worried, it doesnt help anything. Its still early in your stims - xoxo

Katie-My clinic just doesn't feel that you need to have bedrest for 24-36 hours like some other clinics do, but you better believe that couch potato time will be in order and having the DH be my personal slave as well!!!!

TC4474-sorry to hear your E2 numbers are low but hopefully with the higher dosage they will jump up!! Mine actually went from 800 to 1400 in just one day!!!! So just try not to stress about it and see what they say Thursday.

syanna-bummer you don't get to start stims till Friday but your folllie numbers look excellent!

amysbabies-GL tomorrow and hopefully your HPT are not accurate and your blood test will be positive! PMA PMA PMA

AFM...got the call from nurse to continue same protocol and come back tomorrow!! My e2 levels look good, so just hoping that my lining thickens the next couple of days so it's close to 8!!! Not feeling as bloated/crampy as last time I did the shots but it seems as though I have a lot less follies growing as well (I had close to 30 last time) but I am just hoping it's quantity over quality!!
