I'm not sure if it is from BCP, but I just want to share a story with you. A lady had a negative beta, after that she had a much longer than normal period and finally a blood test shows high HCG. A U/S later confirmed a tubal pregnancy. They even saw the heartbeat by that time. If you spotting gets heavier, maybe you should talk to the doctor and do more tests to make sure.

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving!
My DH and I dont have any family out here on the west coast with us. (Not that we're complaining!! ) We're spending time w/ friends who are doing a deep fried turkey and a real one! I plan on pigging out!
So I just wanted to say that i'm thankful for all of the wonderful and strong ladies on this board!
AFM- They have increased my heparin to 6500 units sq each day x 2 !! Needless to say, i'm sore & look like someone is beating me in the stomac and legs! OUCH! Just be so thankful none of you ladies have to do heparin injections!!
BTW... Ive taken today and yesterday a cheapie "equaline" hpt. Got an extreamly faint, faint blue line x 2 tests?!?! Wed i will be 1 week post ET. So who knows?? Ive still had no spotting, or implantation bleeding!! Trying not to get excited! Im still having this weird "cramping" its not bad. Just kinda dull and at times "twing-like".
So who knows!!
Oh one more question, what are you all doing about caffeine?? Im not a coffee drinker, but a coke. Ive found caffeine free coke (not diet).
Ok will try to do personals tomorrow! But got to do my PITA PIO shot!! Yeiks!! OUCH!

hi ladies, have anyone used endometrin insert before? i have problem in inserting in. nurse told me it's just like tampon but i hate to use tampon because i have difficulty all the way in. can i use something like vaselin to help it slip into. nurse told me that I need to insert 2 inches into it. i only insert about half inch. i really afraid of there'll be problem.

Run it under water for a second that will help it to be more slippery then make sure to lay down for at least 20 minutes after you put it in so that it doesn't all just run out and wear a panty liner cause some will still come out they are kinda gross things but you have to do it to maintain a pregnany it will all be worth it in the end good luck!

honeybunny-- i am so so so sorry. i hope you can use the holidays to relax and recharge. my thoughts are with you.
me2009-stay strong through the 2ww! maybe the busy season will help the days fly until your beta. as for caffine, i am just on stims now but i cut back a lot. i have only one caffine drink a day and even that is a half-caf coffee.
afm- I had my 4 day u/s and bw this morning. The ultra sound lady said my lining was double and 5, and that she saw 4 follies on the right side and 5 on the left but they were all under 10. Does this sound ok? Does that mean that 9 is the max I could get?

Hi all - Happy day before Thanksgiving!
Looks like it's going to be a turkey day ER for me.
My procedure is scheduled for 9:00 am and I convinced my family to save the "big meal" for dinner. Hoping I will be up for eating at least some of it. I'm definitely anxious - ready to find out how many fertilized eggs we will end up with and how things will proceed with PGD and FET in January.
I should have time to do personals tomorrow afternoon while I am resting after ER. But for those of you with procedures and betas today and tomorrow - good luck!!!!

dodo928: For the Endometrin, I would definitely recommend that you try to get it farther in than a 1/2 inch. I would say mine goes about 3 inches or so. If you can't get the 2 inches the nurse recommends, you may want to discuss another form of progesterone with them. I think that's what the PIO shots are. It's definitely important that you get the Progesterone, because that helps to thicken your lining (which I think some of the early meds interfere with) and sustain a viable pregnancy. Good luck!

I actually was like you for my 1st 2 ivf's... I always had such trouble getting it all the way in...it would get stuck and I would be afraid to push it further.. but this cycle I realized that instead of trying to push it straight in ...I kind of let it twist as it goes in...hmmm I don't know if that makes sense. Do where pantinliners..the thicker ones..because these are messy and sometimes gobs of it comes back out ..sorry if that's TMI.
