Hello ladies, what a roller coaster ride! I've been constipated for a while. Raw honey always helps me on constipation and fear but RE told me not to take any even not in cycle. I guess my body is adjusting the hormones now after the BFN. I was shivering all night long last night and this morning. Finally, I sneaked for raw honey and had a good bowel movement and clear mind. what a relief? Sorry if I didn't write to everybody before! But all the symptoms making me drowsiness and I had difficulty in reading.

Syanna: Congrats to your eggs! Crossing fingers to your ET!

kerribell: Sorry for the BFN! Tomorrow will be better! Like you said, everyone is going to have BFP in the future including us!

2010: Sorry for the BFN! I had the same moment and didn't know how to cry in the beginning. I felt like I was denying my feeling, then started to cry later to accept it, then getting angry last night. I try to avoid the 5 stages of grief and I don't think it's under my control even how much I wish I can.

lou71: I had a cyst before I had the last cycle. DH and I were very concerned because it was first over 3mm, then gradually disappeared on the day of ET. RE always told us that he's not concern about the cyst as long as it remained the same size or getting smaller. You're right! The hardest part is 2WW, most stressful than any other time. Have fun at Las Vegas!

hjw: Thank you for your advise! I guess I will take some time to recover my body first. I really hope that AF comes earlier. The cramping makes me very uncomfortable.

Yayyyy!!! Just got my beta results and DH and I are ecstatic!!!!!

It quadrupled!!!! They were only looking for it to double!

weaning estrogen patches and ultrasound scheduled for December 18th at 8am CST!!!! Can't wait and am totally enjoying this. DH said I am not allowed to carry anything heavier than a gallon of milk anymore! I love this!!!! DH and I cried. We were really worried about this beta, but I guess we had nothing to worry about!!!!

Girls, I am sooo thankful for all of you and your never ending kind words. I wish you all the best and can't wait to see your BFP's. I will be checking in periodically. I love you girls! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

BRMommy - That is so sweet, now you are making me cry. Have I mentioned, emotions go wild! I have cried more over the last 4 days than I have all year including after the 2 failed IVF cycles in March and August.

All I can say girls is to keep up the persistence and trust in which ever big man upstairs you believe in. Follow your dreams and never let any RE push you down (I felt this way at one point).

i will have to come back and write more personals later, i am so sorry for the recent BFNs, my heart goes out to you.

my er went well, we got 18 eggs, two of which were not mature, 1 might come along and 15 were mature. we will get the fert report tomorrow. RE was really pleased with the number, a lot without being too many and at risk for overstim. I found out that RE hereself has been through hyperstim, so she really knows! anyway, i feel ok, but i know i may ge bloated later on...

To everyone who had bfn, I am so sorry about your news, by heart is really breaking for you. I know how it feels to have disappointment and it hurts, the only advice I have is to let it out, get mad, cry and then after all of that, do it again. Also what helped me was talking to someone. I hope that will help you too. Again sorry for you and your dh bfn.

I had such a busy day this is the first time that I've had to post. But I did get a haircut that I really like! good thing too, I was starting to resemble a sheepdog! I keep asking what DH wants for Christmas and he keeps saying "Oh, I dont need anythig. Its driving me nuts trying to come up with ideas when all either one of us wants cant be bought! Well, wait a minute - how much money has gone to the Re so far? Speaking of Christmas, I hope that I didnt offend anyone when I did the list & put the beta section as "all I want for christmas is my bfp" If I did, I apoligize.

Franny -thanks! Wow - so you can go get all the accupuncture you want to now! Thats fantastic! I would try it but its expensive, although I did notice that in my cycle packet there was a new sheet regarding a/c
Re says that it cant hurt & and maybe helps, so if he was to suggest it he says before ER & ET but the place is near his office - oh well whats another 4 hrs roundtrip - UGH! My doses? they are high as usual. *sigh*
600iu bravelle til day six - thats when he like to change my doses every day it seems - to the point of me putting post-its on the boxes! He already warned me he was planning to "manipulate " my meds this time

Dodo -yay for lobster! yum! For me after bfn my AF came within 3 days of stopping the meds. You should be able to cycle again right away after a FET (they are so much easier on your body) I really hope that the right donor comes into your life. You are such a sweet and caring woman
I'll keep you in my prayers to match with the right donor soon!

Hazel -I go for u/s the day after you (tues) see, we are still close on schedule together. I dont do well with general anesthesia either - they had a hard time getting me to come out of it when RE removed my tubes
Although they always tell me i'm very amusing after ER/ET its more like conscious sedation. They always laugh at me afterwards - apparently I'm still trying to talk when I'm under!

Albany -Yeah, me too - I thought nursing school was so important
when I took my state boards, I found out 2 days later that both my tubes were destroyed ( I left in tears!and the nurse walked me to my car!) and by the time I got my exam results in the mail, I could'nt have cared less.
By the next week i was looking for an RE. But how are you doing? How are you feeling there Mom? xoxo

AFM my next ultrasound is in the morning! I sure hope the follies are growing like they should! This is day 8 of stims today so hopefully today we will know more about retrieval day! I am so nervous! Tryin to keep up the PMA and you ladies are good at helping with that so thanks for the support!

AFM: ive had my first 3 beta's all good. so im def 4 weeks prego! I still dont get how they say im 4 weeks prego and date if from my LMP and when we know for a fact when we had our ER and ET!

I had my u/s changed from tues to this monday 9am sharp! We're the first apt! Im excited to know how many of the 3 embies made it! Honestly, we would love twins just so we dont have to go through this again.

My PIO is now up to 1.5 cc TWICE a day! Since they increased my PIO from 2 cc a day to 3 cc a day. Ohh my BUTT! But my cramping has gone away, well has sig decreased since we increased my PIO.

I know once that little bugger is here all of my complaints and bitches over these months will go away.

Are any of you taking Heparin Injections as well??? Just wondering here! My tummy is extreamly purple and bruised up!

Well off to do yet another famous PIO shot! Whoo Who!! Go PIO-Its your Bday.. Go PIO its your bday! (ok im crazy, but got to get pumped up!!)


Oh so want to hear a funny story!

So im such a HUGE bath taker, and my RE gave me the green light on taking baths again!! I have a huge garden tub in my bathroom. But he said keep the water temp under 100 deg.

So this is gonna be hard, cause this is the girl who has her hot water heater on the VERY, VERY HOT dial on the hot water tank!

So i thought i need to take a bath and i have no idea how hot is 100 is??

So i ran down stairs semi-naked and looked in the kitchen for a meat themo. I found the one we used last thanksgiving. Don't worry it was clean! But it totally worked!!!

So now i take a bath with the turkey therometers. I know weird but it works. Its semi-redneck i know! haha..

Ok my DH is calling me for my shots! Nite all!

Turtle – am so pleased to hear from you. I did acupuncture for about 10 months leading up to and during IVF for stress relief and during treatment to help with follicle growth (my acpuncturist has a special interest in treatment for infertility). My DH started going about 2 months before our treatment to held with his sperm quality as with the result he had, we needed ISCI. Anyway, on ER day, we didn’t need ICSI and 15 out of 18 eggs fertilised on their own. I am convinced acupuncture had something to do with it. If nothing else if helps you feel generally more relaxed and healthier – I would definitely recommend it. Thank you for your congratulations. No I don’t think it has sunk in yet and it doesn’t help that I’m massively paranoid and worried about everything all the time. Am trying not to get too excited until my 7 week scan on 17th. Am thinking of you.

Hjw – Hello fellow brit! Good luck for your first scan on Monday! I can’t believe yu are aware for ER. However, I might have preferred that. I was so ill after ER. I was sick from sedative and in such pain (I had 18 eegs retrieved) so was very swollen and bloated. Got to stay in bed and off work for a week though!

Albany07, Katie – I know what you mean about career too. I am a lawyer and everyone used to think I was so career focused, now I can’t think of anything but having a baby. It really does put things into perspective.

Jenice – lovely to hear from you. Good luck and check in to let us know how you are getting on from time to time won’t you.

Lou71 – Sorry to hear about your cysts – you might not be cancelled though. Have a great weekend and good luck hiding those shots!

2010 – Am so sorry to hear about your BFN. Take time to let yourself recover – make the most of having a drink and let us know what you decide to do next. I know I can’t imagine what it’s like to have a failed cycle and I am so thankful for where I am at the moment but I do know the heartbreak of having a negative. Thinking of you.

Kerribell – Just to say my thoughts are with you. I must be really hard but I hope you stick around with us all.

Sarah_ruth – I got 18 eggs too – and 15 matured – I have everything crossed for you – it’s a great number to start with. I would prepare yourself to be bloated and sore though – I definitely was and they said it was because I was on the verge of overstim.

Katie – good luck for your ultrasound on Tuesday. You so deserve for everything else to go smoothly after all the hassle you’ve been having! I was in tears when I read your message about your DH. I know how tied up with our hormones we all are but I also know how hard it is for our DH’s and we couldn’t do it without them! So sweet.

albany07 - congrats!!!! that's an awesome beta jump! i read your post about 15 minutes before i got my second beta result. it filled me with such hope.

unfortunately, for me it was not good news. my beta basically didn't move.
first beta was 50.2, second beta 50.6.

to say i am crushed does not begin to explain things. thanks to everyone for all their kind words - i got to be pregnant for a few days at least, which was more than i had been before IVF.

my doctor has me continuing the meds until Monday, when i'll get the 3rd beta...i personally don't see the point. but dh has hope yet, so i'll do it. gods, i love that man.
