katie - I'm kind of bummed. I tested this morning and it was a STAKE WHITE test. I know they're dollar tree's and maybe not the BEST to test with but I'm saving my FRER's for during the week. I'm 6dp5dt (11DPO) and I'm thinking I might still be in the running till maybe monday to see something. I nervous it didn't work. More so depressed and I can't shake it. I hate being this way :(

I'm preparing to start looking for Follistim and Menopur again to do another cycle. I really can't see how I will be able to but you know 'we' all find the way emotionally to try again.

Teachermom - Thanks anyway

I hope I'm wrong and get a surprising BFP this week. What day did any of you get your BFP with a 5dt?

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. There's so much to catch up on - I've been away for the last few days!

Katie99 - As always, thanks so much for keeping up the chart for us! I hope your stims are going well and those follies are getting nice and ripe!

LorrieS - I hope those dollar tree HPTs are wrong!! Sounds like you have a few more days though...

SarahRuth - Glad to hear your ER went well! I believe we've passed some major hurdles in this process! Congrats!

Skylar - Great ER results and I hope the ET goes great for you today! Please let us know how it goes!

Supergenius - My thoughts are with you for your third beta test. This just doesnt seem fair.

Claud662 - OHSS? Hope you feel better soon. Also sorry to hear about your FIL. I hope he has a speedy recovery too. Sounds like you've had a long couple of days.

Me2009 - Congrats on your BPF! Yipee! Good luck on your Monday u/s! I giggled at your story about using a meat thermometer to check your bath temp! I've missed my long hot baths the last few weeks!!

Syanna and Justwannabeamom - Have you got the call to trigger yet? You're almost done with stims!!!

Albany 07 - Congrats on the great beta numbers!

I read about the BFN's and my heart breaks. It doesnt seem fair. It could be any one of us. I hope that with each BFN it gets everyone closer to starting that one cycle that will get the BFP.

AFM - I had my ER on Friday and I was surprised to hear that they got 16 eggs. This was many more than we expected. My u/s showed one day there were 7 follies and another day they told us 11. I guess there were more in hiding.

Out of 16, they did ICSI on 11 and 9 were fertilized. We are really happy with this and are now praying that they make it to Wednesday for our transfer. We are pretty sure we will want to transfer 2.

For those of you who havent had an ER before, I was pretty scared about the procedure. We were in and out of the clinic in 2 hours and 45 minutes of that was prep time before the procedure. It really wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I've been resting up and DH has been taking care of me and things around the house.

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend and baby dust to all!

hi girls -

Ok I survived the mall, just barely. I cant believe that its snowing, at least 3 inches already with no end in sight. I was out in a t-shirt a few days ago!

Michele -OMG girl, I missed you so much! This place isnt the same without you. I'm so sorry that you have to take a break. Its so damn unfair that whether we can children or not depends on money!
Lord knows we're buried in debt because of it. I know how strong and determined you are and truly believe that you will get to give the beautiful Miss Ella a sibling. big hugs to you my friend - xoxo

Dodo -Good luck with your RE appt! Are you feeling better? Has AF shown yet? I asked about having local monitoring at my 1st try, and RE said he feels more comfortable to be the one to do it. He's a bit anal retentive - which is a good RE quality! Any Dr actually....

Kelly -you go miss kelly! I would do a happy dance for 9 good ones! OK just 1 more day of stims - you can do this!

Claud -oh, honey I'm so sorry! Please be careful, OHSS is nothing to take lightly! And FIL has an MI on top of this? Prayers to you & your FIL

Lorrie -Its too early to use HPTs!!! I'll re-post the embie growth chart for you as soon as I finish this!

Cheeky -Hi Momma! How are you feeling girl? I cant wait to join you!!! xoxo

Hazel -You are too funny! i was a nurse before ivf took over my life
Now I'm a housewife too - to 2 giant dogs! ha ha thats a riot that we are so similar with all these things! My twin from across the pond. When I'm under though, i'm not swearing like a sailor, apparently i keep them laughing by repeatedly thanking them & telling them how nice they are to me! When i had my tubes removed to start ivf, I woke up holding the recovery nurses hand and she was laughing at me too! Then the RE came in to tell me how it went & I have no idea what I said to him, but when I saw him for follow up he said I'm a lot of fun under anesthesia - so who knows! You see my RE is SO serious all the time - it was kind of a joke between DH & me to make RE smile or laugh - it took me a while, but i won! xoxo

TC - Whhooo hooooo! for 9 fert!! wishing you dividing dust! lots!

I didnt forget the list - I'll get it done right after dinner - - xoxo

3 Day Transfer:

1dpt... Embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt... Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt... Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt... Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt... Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt... Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt... Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt... HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

5 Day Transfer (if your transfer is done on the 6th day please adjust according to the timeline based upon how the embryo was doing by 1-2 days {e.g. blastocyst was hatching from the shell}):

claude662: Sorry for the OHSS and your father-in-law! Hope you feel better ASAP!

katie99 : I don't mean local monitoring. My DH doesn't like local monitoring and prefers our RE to monitor everything for us so that he can hold accountable. LOL. But if I only have b/w, I will request for a lab sheet so that I can do it at my local lab. Can you ask them for a b/w sheet?

Supergenous: Sorry for the beta! I bet all my money on you. I thought you will have BFP! Sorry, I know it's hurt. Afterall, it's a huge thing. I hope there's miracle. o/w, let's pick up and move on for the next cycle! Hugs!

Wow that will teach me for going MIA for 10 days during this board’s busy period… 15 pages to catch up with, holly molly! Welcome to all the newbies, you came to the right place…

Katie99 - DH & you have such an amazing partnership, I am sooo glad you guys have re-opened the door to more tries (but you won’t need them, this is YOUR time!). Sorry to hear about what your RE’s office puts you thru, they should know better than to mess with hormonal women like us! But in the end, the only thing that matters is that BFP, and it looks like you are well under way, glad to hear you are progressing well on the stims! And thanks as always for updating the chart (can’t wait til you can move to the 2ww section, and then to the BFP section!)

Olim – you are PREGNANT! Congratulations, I am so happy for you! You are definitely in the running for this boards’ most POAS record, seriously! Maybe I’ll buy stocks in the UK stick manufacturer ;) I can only imagine how long it’s going to seem until the U/S, that’s like torture to put you thru 2ww and then another loooong wait on top of that. But you are pregnant, and that’s all that matters, isn’t it??

Franny – I was heartbroken when I read you had been cancelled. Your posts have meant so much to me, you bring so much PMA to this board, with your contagious positive outlook on everything. Even when you are down you are up, you are an amazing woman and I know you & DH will get your BFP soon. Can’t believe your RE would even think of mentioning donor eggs so early in the process, that’s bullsh$#($t. Glad you enjoyed a good visit with your parents, isn’t it funny how it takes 5 minutes around mom & dad to feel like we are that child all over again?

Skylar – Congrats on your 6 healthy embies, good luck for ET on Mon! I love your attitude, reading your posts put a big smile on my face. I can’t believe DH’s would push your buttons, he should better that whatever he says is coming right back at him :)

Jenice, Kerribell, 2010, Lulu, Dodo and Chris – I am so very sorry for your news. It sucks and it hurts and there is nothing to make it easier. But glad to see you are already looking at what’s next.

Ashley – congrats on your 9 blast snow babies! When will you know the test results?

Supergenius –sorry about your disappointing 2nd beta, but like the others said, don’t give up hopes quite yet... I’ll be thinking of you & DH on Mon for beta #3

me2009– holy sh@#%t batman is right! Your beta numbers are amazing!! Are you thinking twins? Sooo happy for you!

teachermom – congrats mom! Twins, that’s fantastic.

Albany – congrats on your beta numbers, great jump! That’s so sweet that your DH’s got you a heating pad for your anniversary… Kind of hard to explain to anyone outside this board, isn’t it?

Sarahruth – congrats on your 15 mature eggs. Any news on your fert report yet??

Claud662 – Wow that’s a lot of stress for one day. Sorry to hear about FIL, hope he is doing better, I’ll keep him & your family in my thoughts. And OHSS, poor thing! What does RE recommend to curb it?

Cheekyone – congrats, you are PREGNANT!!

Justwannabeamom – great follies numbers! Good luck for ER on Tue!

Syanna – grow follies grow & hope you get the trigger shot this weekend

Sorry if I forgot anyone. That was a lot to catch up on, I bet I filled up a page on my own!

AFM – DH & I were in Las Vegas with DH’s family for Thanksgiving. We spent time with DH’s 92-year old grandfather who is an absolute riot, fun loving man who can still drink us under the table (and he did :D ) . It felt good to have fun & forget about IVF for a couple days…. I sure did not do a good job building up our snow babies’ college fund, that’s for sure ;) But I finally did get started on the FET cycle – estrace 3x a day, yay! The wait was killing me! I spent yesterday xmas shopping & wrapping & shipping – ahead of the game, for a change, and now I am off to Liverpool UK for business, and will get home right in time for the u/s nxt week. Any of the UK girls in that area? I don’t know my UK geography really well, as you can see :D

Baby dust to everyone & have a great weekend!

Good evening ladies...I wanted to quickly update you that my FIL is doing GREAT (he is awake and responsive but the only thing is he has no recollection of having a heart attack and keeps forgetting that it is Saturday instead of Friday night when we took him into the hospital). Thank you for all of your kind wishes and prayers-it means a lot.

I also got a call from the nurse and they said I wasn't severe OHSS and that my e2 levels are finally going down so just to keep drinking and trying to rest.

Will do personals tomorrow

soooooo....AF showed her evil face today! i'm kinda confused because i wasnt due to get her until NEXT friday!! wtf? i am NEVER early or late. last cycle canceled i didnt get AF for 45 days and now its only cd21?? IVF is really messing me up.
since i'm not doing BCP's this cycle i get a month med free. i am a little worried that with AF coming early this month is is going to push when i get next months AF while i am on vacation in NY. more things to worry about right? oh well i'm trying not to think about that right now. i'm just trying to figure out why this months AF came so freakin early.

claud i'm so sorry to hear about your FIL! thats wicked scary!! i'm glad he is feeling better though, and i'm sooooo glad the nurse said your ohss isnt as bad as you thought. i hope you start to feel better soon. it sounds terrible!

katie its snowing here too!! the first real snow of the year! i had to go find my boots. i already miss my flip flops!

ok i'm off to try to rid myself of these horrible cramps!

Franny -thats so funny when you do that - I was just thinking of you
and you post! :D yeah, they said 1-3 inches and instead its more like 6-7
Does Piper go crazy in it? Mine were a riot! they were jumping, rolling in it, eating it, tearing around so fast that they were knocking it down on themselves from bumping the tree branches - crazy beasts. AF does get weird from all those meds. But I think a month off from meds will do you good. Ok off to sleep, i'm wiped out from shoveling the driveway :?

katie being snowed in keeps me addicted to the boards haha. the said 2-4 here, i dont know how much is out there now, but its still coming down. piper is sooo funny in the snow. i think he used to like it more when he was a puppy because now he's kinda over it (he's almost 12!) i love when he sticks his nose in deep and comes up snorting haha. i would LOVE to see a great dane puppy running around in the snow....soooo cute! take pictures for sure!
as for my AF i would just chalk it up to crazy meds, but i'm more confused because i took the trigger shot, and i thought if i did that i wouldnt get AF for 2 weeks after. i dunno. i'm gonna call the RE tomorrow and ask, but i'm really sick of calling them and was hoping to get a break. i told DH to call for me hahaha i said "i'm sick of them..you call em" yeah right haha can you picture DH on the phone?? "ummm yeah my wife just got her period, and its only cycle day 21 for her, and she triggered on cycle day 10 after our ivf was cancled..ummm what does that mean??"
omg i am dying just thinking about it! sooo funny!
ok i'm off to bed too!

Hello ladies, I just want to give a late update. I saw my RE today for follow up appointment. He was very kind and told us that he would try their best to help me get pregnant. The account manager told us that we don't have to pay anymore until I get pregnant. We still have to pay lab fee, anesthetia fee. Then I ask how much do we pay if I get pregnant. She gave me a discount of 25% off the first cycle fee we paid. She then asked me how much I would feel comfortable. I asked her 70% off the cycle fee and expected her to counter me back 60%off. But she didn't. She said Yes if this would make us stress free this holiday. I told her definitely. So, that's the end of the story. We have one less thing to worry. And we can start focus on the donor searching part.
