2nd beta 860 but if ever i need a prayer said for me this is it 1 day after my second beta i got really bad cramps and i mean bad then i started to bleed and it was red but continually through out the day not lots but enough to freak me out. Oh gosh if theres a god out there please hear me. Geez i feel my bodies failing me once again, I've cried an ocean full all day yesterday. I talked to the nurse this morning and she said theres nothing they can do till tomorrow and see how things are then. Sorry guys for bringing the thread down so close to xmas oh please please please i beg thee for a miracle :(
how come you didnt go into the drs? why wait til tomorow? they should have seen you???

do you think that perhaps you had 2 and perhaps one was m/c???

has the bleeding stopped? not to ask such a TMI question, did you notice any tissue or sac or anthing of the sort or was it just bleeding?

has the cramping stoped? also did your RE tell you to up your PIO? cause upping it will help with the cramping and cause the PIO is a smooth muscle relax drug as well.

I know i was having cramping really bad in the begining and i was freaking out and they told me to give my self an extra shot of PIO???

ok wish i was there to give you a hug!!

hang in there!

It's 9:07am...at my clinic waiting for the ER. I'm not nervous since I did this before, but I am scared of the IV. Hate that shit! Well, I hope they get lots of mature eggs and I won't be as crampy afterwards.

katie i am so happy for your great response to the stims! i think its a great sign of good things to come.

claud i am so sorry about your fil. my fil was sick a couple of years ago and i felt so bad for dh, i can't imagine having this happen when the two of you have so much going on. rest up!

cheeky i am praying for you. i know a lot of people who have had spotting when pregnant after ivf, so take heart.

turtle I totally understand your need to talk about your cancelled cycle. this is on your mind all the time and its not fair to have to carry the burden all by yourself. dh is just trying to help and tell you there is hope. just let him know that sometimes you need to vent.

dodothe right donor will come, i hope it happens quickly. that's so great that your RE is working with you on the financial side. sounds like you found someone who really cares.

hjw wow- you are awake for ER! i wasn't under general, but something a little less. i don't remember a thing!

2010 and kerribell i am so so so sorry for you. i hope you will find peace and fulfillment however you decide to build your family from here.

syanna can't wait to hear how the ER goes! keep us updated!

albany awww...your dh is being so cute!! how are you feeling?

kelly i am so sorry about your bad news, do you have any updates?

me2009i can't wait to hear about the u/s. that's hysterical, you use the them sometimes to make sure something is roasting, and in the bath to make sure you aren't roasting.

turtle we are doing acupuncture too. we love the person we found, and he has a reputation for doing ivf acupuncture that is really great. we saw lots of letters to him thanking him, so we felt good about using him.

supergenius i am so so so sorry girl. thinking of you.

lorrie i see the line, hopeing it is a BFP for you! so funny that you are getting around your re and going for a pre-beta!

afm- We got the Fert report on Saturday and 12 fertilized, 11 at the highest rating. We are waiting for word about their progress today. Today they will take them out, biopsy them and grade them. ET will be Weds. Its hard because I know we will lose some along the way and chances are 25% of them we won't use because they will have CF. So we will see...just hoping there is one good one to transfer that is a high grade and no CF. But we won't know until we go in on Weds. I am a little bloated today, but not as uncomfortable as i was friday or saturday. i hear the bloat gets worse...ugh!

So i had my us today! I have one little sac!! they said it was good size! yeppie!!

they thought that there might have been another, but it looked more like a hematoma (blood filled sac ) not so much a viable baby sac! RE said its hard to say what it was, or is. Ive not had any bleeding at all, which is good!

so all in all were super excited, grow sac grow!

we go back on the 17-18th to see a heart beat!! :)

justwannabamom - keeping everything crossed for your u/s tomorrow!

claud662 - oh sweetie, what a lot to cope with over the last few days. Thank goodness your FIL is getting better and that your OHSS is improving as well. Roll on Sunday for your beta!! Re the golfing, no-one has actually told me to limit any activities, so as long as I feel OK to do it, I'm just going to carry on. It's a pretty low impact sport (or at least it is at my skill level, haha!), but I'll have to see whether it gets too uncomfortable as I get closer to ER.

tc4474 - yay, 16 eggs! How're you doing - not long to go to ET now! Have you had a progress report on your embies?

turtle - sorry to hear about the cramps, hope the worst has passed now. What did your RE say about AF arriving a week early?

cheekyone - honey, I'm so sorry to hear about the bleeding, it must be so scary. What did the RE say today, did you go for a scan? You're in my thoughts, keeping everything crossed for you.

dodo - that's brilliant news about your discount, what a weight off your mind!

julie_78 - yippee for starting your FET drugs, you're underway... I'm not from the Liverpool area, shame as we could have met up! If your work ever takes you to London though, lol!

Lorrie - I can totally see that second line, hurray! Hope they are just getting darker by the day. Lol about you getting a sneaky beta from your GP, I don't blame you! Can't wait to hear the results.

sarah_ruth - great numbers of fertilised eggs! How mean that they don't give you a grading report, making you wait to find out at ET on Wednesday. Best of luck!

me2009 - you saw a little sac, how brilliant! Oooh, roll on the 17th for your next scan. How are you feeling, are you getting many early pregnancy symptoms?

syanna - I hate the canula as well, it's the worst part (and I'm awake for my ER too!). 12 eggs is amazing though! I only got 6 last time, so I would be over the moon if I could get 12 this time around.

How's my twin from across the pond (aka katie99) doing today? Wow, how incredible to be responding so well to the stims, it makes a nice change from your other cycles huh? Masses of GL for your u/s and b/w tomorrow, can't wait to hear how many you've got in there. Are we still going to be twins, I wonder! Are you still having snow? I can just imagine what your dogs are like, my two go CRAZY when we get snow (which actually isn't very often so it's even more of a novelty for them).

So...my update: I've been having a few twinges and a little bit of a dull ache on the left and right sides on and off over the last few days, which is different to my first fresh cycle when I didn't feel a thing the whole way through. On the scan this afternoon (I'm day 7 of stims) they found a 25x35mm cyst on my left ovary, which they didn't seem very worried about (although I've read of people getting cancelled because of cysts, so I'm a bit concerned). There are also a total of 5 follies measuring around 10mm and 7 smaller ones (I'm not sure whether or not those are going to develop). They have kept me on the same Gonal-F dose and I go back on Thursday for another scan and some b/w. Do you think I should be worried about the cyst, ladies? If it grows bigger, at what size might it get to be a problem?

Hey CT_Michele, how great to hear from you!!! Thanks for the good wishes, I think I'm off to an OK start - really, really, really hoping that it's third time lucky for me. Fingers crossed that you're able to cycle again soon... Give Ella a huge big hug for me!

Hi everyone -

Well I'm still feeling some twinges on the lowered dose, so thats good.
I'm very curious to see what u/s will show tomorrow. Usually for me it's like a vegas craps table, I'm laying there thinking "gimme an 8, come on,8 - Awww 4." I had to tell my sonographer about that so she wouldnt think I'm nuts for nervous giggling the whole time! If she tells me a good number after all this time, I may just jump off the table.

Cheeky -I have no idea how much of a time difference there is from the US to Aus., but I'm praying that your RE has good news for you today. Please let it just be standard ivf bleeding, and nothing else. You've been in my thoughts since your last post. Hugs to you my dear friend! xoxo

Claudia -So glad to hear that its starting to subside. I know that each Re has their own normal limits zone for P4 (progesterone) usually 15-20. and your E2 is dropping thankfully. Whew! 1 down, now you've just got to get through a 1ww!

Franny- Did either of you two end up calling your RE? What did they say? Yes, 1 snow storm down, I'd be happy for that to be it for a while, its hard to be yanked by an over exuberant 90lb puppy, while trying to watch out for my elderly Dane, its heartbreaking to see how afraid she is of slipping on the ice. How goes your accupuncture?

Lorrie -Did you leave any HPTs left in the stores? Yes, your old Re sounds like mine, except this last cycle & this one so far, he hasnt felt the need to remind me of my age. Hmm... I guess they save that for when its not going well. Any luck getting quick beta appt?

Kelly -I'm still crossed for your appt tomorrow! hope they have evened out some more. you should remind your RE that it may be your last try before he gives opinion on whats next. - xoxo

Syanna -congrats on 12! thats a great amount!

SarahRuth -thanks! 12 fert! yipppeee!! you're chances are really good since you're starting out with that many! crossed for you!

EOL - AF yet? I'm hoping you're at baseline already!

Me2009 - Congrats, there Momma! you must be so excited too hear the HB next week!!

Hugs & loads of PMA! - -xoxo

Hazel -Well I guess the twin thing is still on- we were even posting at the same time! Too funny! I think this is looking like a good cycle for the both of us! Yay for 5 so far! I know that the thing with cysts is that to hope they arent growing right along woth the stims, as long as they dont do that, they just leave them be. I dont know at what size that changes, though. ask them directly on Thursday. I'll go tom for scan & then thursday too. They halways do every other day until you get close, then every day. Does your clinic change the schedule? or do they keep you at every third day? Its a good thing that we live so far away from one another, I bet we could run up a very scary phone bill! xoxo

Hello ladies, hope everyone is doing fine! afm, AF finally came last night. I's worrying whether it's only spotting or discharge or if I can have a regular one. Looks like it's a regular one! Another thing to be lifted from my shoulder!

cheekyone: Sorry to hear for the bleeding! I hope it was stopped by now. you're in my prayer.

katie99: congrats for your good response of the meds! My RE called everyone of his patients of anything himself. The only time if he didn't call was when results were not there or when results were not optimistic and he's trying to keep waiting instead of telling us what's going on and driving me nuts.

syanna: Sorry for the disappointment of getting less eggs than the previous ER, but quality always counts the most!

sarah_ruth79: Crossing fingers for the good ones and no more CF!

me2009: Congrats and hope for the best for the other one! Sorry for the nausea at night! Hope it goes away soon!

hjw: I had a cyst about the same size like yours before. I also concerned about it because I heard that one of the patient that didn't get pregnant was because of the cyst. But when I asked RE more details, he told me that the patient not getting pregnant was not the cyst but because of something else. He doesn't believe the cyst will impact the pregnancy only if its expand too much and spread all over the lining. Then there will be a danger. He put me on prometrium and estrogen patches and gave me u/s later on to check to see if my cyst will get bigger in the real cycle with all these meds. He told me it's getting smaller. Also, you may ask your RE whether the cyst can be drained. I asked my RE and he told me it could be drained but he wouldn't do it because it's too small. He told me if it's getting bigger before transfer, he might drain it. It turned out my cyst went away before the transfer.

Gi- I love when you crash, you are always a highlight of my day!
How much longer til your chicago b/w results come back? my fingers are crossed for you as always, my friend! - xoxo

Dodo -Hooray for AF. I'm so happy that things are all falling into place for you! It must be meant to be. How is facebook going? I'm thinking of joining, it seems like a great way for all of us to stay in touch
I would have to figure it out first! Now what is the next step with your cycle? Do you have an idea of how long before they match you with a proven donor? Hope it moves quickly also! - xoxo

Hi ladies, thanks for all the words of support. It really means a lot to me.

Beta #3 (17.1) confirmed what I already thought & the doc has me stopping all my meds. I took the weekend to be super sad & mopey, so it didn't hit me so hard to hear that number.

I'm going out for saki & sushi tonight :D and then I'll be a bit more social on these boards again. Looks like there's lots of good follie & embie growth here!
