hazel-yah for getting your instructions and knowing when your trigger is!!! That is exciting they are seeing 12 and from my experience they told me they saw 20 and they got 25 at my retrieval!!!

syanna-how is your 2ww going? any more discharge?

justwannabamom-How are your embies doing? any reports?

2010-hope the bleeding stops soon and GL with your next cycle! I am definitely going to lurk around that thread to cheer everyone on and I may be there myself depending on what tomorrow brings

brooklyngirl-GL with this cycle...where are you in the process?

AFM...the past couple of days have been emotionally exhausting. The spotting continues but the progesterone and estrace have definitely made it less. The past 24 hours has been mostly brown (TMI) instead of the red it was showing the other day. Work has been horrible which hasn't helped my emotional state and my FIL is finally home!! So to say the least-I'm tired!!! BUT HERE IS THE CRAZY NEWS....I totally wasn't going to POAS because I have never gotten a positive and with all the spotting going on I figured I was doomed...but I just did just to make it 100% in my mind (not my first pee of the morning either) and I GOT A LINE!!! I am totally freaking out but trying to remain rational since I could have had a chemical with the bleeding/spotting and it could be a false positive. I had a chemical back in July...I haven't even told me DH since he is out getting a haircut!!! I don't know if I should go buy a digital or just be content that I got a line on a dollar store generic brand and if I should just wait till tomorrow for my beta?!?!?

I also want don't want to get my DH's hopes up since I have been telling him the past 3 days that this cycle is doomed and if it is a chemical it will hurt him to get excited and then disappointed again. I also bought my dog a tee shirt that says older brother with a superman logo on it and that is how I wanted to surprise him when we get good news....so I'm torn!!! Thoughts?!?!

Just took a digital and it said PREGNANT!!! I'm telling my husband in a few minutes when he gets back with my dog wearing the tee-shirt!! Even if the outcome is eventually not good-I'm at least going to enjoy the moment now and celebrate!!!!

Claudia -2 LINES?!!! Yiipppeeeee!!!! :D :D :D :D
OH, i'm so happy to hear this, I know you've been really stressing this cycle - but I think it worked!!!!! Thank God that youe beta is tomorrow!
it will save you "the crazies of POAS addiction" Claudia - brown spotting is a GOOD sign of implantation. Yay!!! And your FIL is home safe too! I think the idea of the pup's t shirt is too sweet. Now will you tell DH today or wait til beta? - xoxo

Hazel -Good Lord, woman - I'm so excited for you too! 10 foliies is fantastic news! I bet you're SO ready to get to ER already! My clinic didnt like to tell me my lab values either (and i'm a nurse!) but after all these tries, I finally have them trained better now - tee hee. It wil be such a relief to have that cyst drained too - Dont squash the follies (darn cyst)
OK - You're getting your BFP for Christmas!!! I can feel it!! xoxoxo

2010 -I hope that you've been treating yourself to a bit of pampering. I know all too well how hard a bfn is to take. but you WILL get through it. We are all here to support you! Good luck with your follow up appt - hope your RE can change up your protocol so the next time its BFP
have a wonderful holiday - and enjoy some drinks while you still can

2010 thanks for the PMA. I actually feel better about the whole thing after all the encouragement from everyone on here. I sure hope you are right that all the rest of us just have to get BFP! I just wish the others could have too!
Hazel thank you as well for your thoughts. Good luck with that trigger! Yeah!sounds like you are gonna have wonderful embies. 1:00 AM though that sucks! Well we have all done MUCH worse things along this process right? LOL! Let us know how retrieval goes!
Claud I am soooooooo happy for you. I will pray that this is so very real for you. Congrats sweetie!
AFM nothing new to report. My clinic only calls you on the first day after retrieval with fert report and will not tell me untill I get there for transfer what I even have to transfer and if any to freeze. I am upset about that. I didn't find out that was the way they did it till the day of retrieval. They said that is the way they have always done it. I asked for the number to the lab so I could call them and I was told they don't do that. What a shitty thing! My last IVF they called me each day with an update so at least I knew when I showed up for my day 3 transfer that the 3 embryos I had were all still growing but that they were not very good. They had only 6 cells and had a large amount of fragmentation. I guess I just feel it gave me a way to prepare myself for BFN knowing the embyos were poor quality all along before the transfer. So I guess you prob won't hear from me till tuesday how many were left and what we were able to transfer. I hope for the best for everyone.

thanks everyone for the kind words and support! DH was SOOOO shocked when he got home and was confused!! He thought I got the shirt for the "future" when we get a BFP so I told him to come upstairs and in the bathroom were both tests that said positive and had two lines!!! He teared up and we are both so happy. Still remaining cautious but it's the first good news I have had through this whole process and I'm enjoying it!!! I will let you know the second I hear my beta numbers....fingers crossed!

Happy 2nd night of Hanukkah :P

Hi ladies! just wonder how you gals celebrate your christmas and new year? We'd usually go to the Balboa Park in our area and they had a lot of food and entertainment but I missed it this year because it's 3 days after I was confirmed BFN. I don't have any family here and my DH didn't want to travel anywhere because of swine flu. Our families are in Hong Kong and we're afraid we had to isolate in a hotel if someone in the plane had swine flu symptoms. Can anyone have any new ideas where to go in this waiting period for next cycle?
