Oh London, those are really great names! Im sure you are super excited to have them home soon.

Im doing great. At 32wks my babies weighed over 4lbs so thats exciting. Still not contracting so hopefully can make it to 38wks as per my doc. We'll see. I guess that depends on if they want to come out sooner or not. Getting pretty uncomfortable at night, but otherwise no real issues. I cant wait to see my little ones although everyone keeps telling me to enjoy these last months of pregnancy. Im just filled with so much anticipation!!

Hey everyone,

The girls are doing well. Getting bigger everyday. Elaina is now 4lbs 8oz and Cecelia is 4lbs 5oz! Today is week 34 (yes we still keep track) and I am able to nurse them at the same time. They have been doing well breastfeeding but still have the tube feed until they can "prove" that they will feed consistently. Elaina still has an occasional alarm for low heart rate (she forgets that despite the suck and swallow of eating she must remember to breathe too. ) They are still in the isolettes but hopefully soon will graduate to the regular crib like bed. They are so alert and comical to watch especially their facial expressions. We manage to visit them usually 2x day (several hours each time). I can't wait to get them home!

Hope all is going well for everyone and hope everyone had a great holiday. May all of us have a happy .. HEALTHY new year!!

Happy New Year! Our little girls now each weigh over 5 lbs! They are breast feeding together and what they don't get through the breast they get bottle fed. Only occasionally do they get it through their tube. We are hopeful that they will be in cribs soon and get home even sooner. They occasionally set off a low heart rate or oxygen alarm when feeding so we are still watching that but otherwise they are doing fantastic!

Hi everyone. It's been a LONG time since I posted, but I too am waiting to deliver. I am 35 weeks 4 days right now, and want to make it to week 38. My son Aiden is a whopping 6lbs 5 oz, and daughter, Gabriella, is 5lbs 5 oz. So I have VERY healthy little bundles of joy in there, but that also means I am carrying almost 12 POUNDS of just baby!!!!

I am still working, and I hope to work 2 more weeks, but it's getting hard! I am a teacher, so I am on my feet all day. Plus with almost 50 lbs gained, I am SOOO tired of moving! The good thing is that next week I only have to work 4 days and the following week is exams so I will work from 7-10AM, and then be done! So, if I can make it, it would be cake!

I have a c-section scheduled for the 27th, but I REALLY want to do this thing naturally. I am about 2 cm dialated now, but nothing more than braxton hicks all this past week.

LONDON and ACORNMOM: COngrats on the babies!!! You must feel amazing to know after suc a long haul, you have your little angels!!!

MEDSTUDENTMOM: I am right there with ya! Keep me posted on how things are going!

Wow LoveBug, glad to see everything is going so well with you. We are very close with our due dates. I scheduled a c/s on Jan 28th (puts me at 38wks 1d). My girl is breech so although the doc said I can try naturally, I really do not want to go through a vag deliver of one and a c/s of the other (have friends that have gone through it before) so I will just do the c/s. Otherwise, my kids are very close to yours in size... At 35wks, boy was almost 6lbs and girl was 5lbs 3oz. I stopped taking classes and am just home getting ready...

Good luck with everything... If you do not go into labor before Jan 27th, are you going to have the c/s anyway, or will you wait until you do go into labor?

Hi all!!! I have not posted in forever--- good reason though My twins were born via scheduled c-section on Jan 7th!!! (37wks) Things have been great they were 5.8lbs(girl) and 6.10lbs(boy) @ birth. They lost weight so we brought them home weighing 5lbs and 6.1 lbs. This Thursday will be a month and they have both already gained past their inital weights, so all is good. We have 2 happy healthy babies that couldn't have been more worth the long crazy road we had to travel to get them here. When I have more time I am going to go back and read posts to catch up w/ all of you- I pray things are going well for each of you! I am going to check out the parent after treatment - so maybe I will see some of you over there as well:)
