Skylar where are you at in ohio? I am in northwest ohio near toledo!
Me2009 I wondered where you went. Congrats on twins! I never wanted to have twins just because I know if I have a baby it will grow up and I will just want another one but now since this is our last try and we got the call today no embryos made it to be frosties I hope both the ones they transferred stick now. I don't want to have just one child. I might spoil it too much! Anyways congrats on a good suprise! Glad to hear from you.

Hi ladies, just a quickie for me as we have people round for dinner and I have still to clean the house and do the cooking! The update today for us is that we still have 4 embryos - we would be over the moon if there were still 4 by tomorrow. We have been told to arrive at the clinic for 10.15am, for a likely transfer time of 10.45am, barring any delays on the surgery list. We won't find out what the grades of the embryos are until we arrive and, therefore, how many to put back. We will transfer one if there is a top grade 'all singing, all dancing' embryo, otherwise we will ask to transfer two, but it is ultimately the embryologist's decision (one of the ways in which our treatment is different because we are NHS funded rather than self-pay). It's not quite the way I expected to be spending my 35th birthday this year, but getting PUPO is a pretty good birthday present, right?
sarah_ruth - all you can do is trust that what they've said is right and that Friday was too early to test. I'm keeping everything crossed for you on Monday.
tc4474 - OMG, that's amazing. That's one hell of a beta number, are you thinking multiples??
Brooklyngirl - GL for your ER tomorrow, it's going to be a big day for both of us!
teachermom - oh sweetie, what a bad scare you had. I imagine the doctors are going to keep a really, really close eye on you and make sure everything goes OK. With the placenta previa does that mean they are likely to put you on bedrest towards the later stages?
LorrieS - great news about your beta, but OMG the way in which they delivered the news... I simply can't imagine what you went through in those few minutes. As I think others have said, I truly hope the nurse has learnt her lesson and is more careful about giving out the right information to the right people in the future!
BRMommy2B - speaking of giving out information, have you spoken to the pharmacist yet?
Skylar - another great beta, you must be so happy!
me2009 - OMG, OMG twins!!! How exciting, what a Christmas present for you! Has the news sunk in yet?
katie99 - I'm so pleased that you and DH have agreed on a plan, with so much information available about IVF and different potential paths, I sometimes think that's the hardest part. I'm pleased to report that DH and I battled our way to the shops last night through the snow and finally got all our Christmas shopping done. I'm so relieved! Are you getting the promised 6-12 inches of snow today? We were due to have lots more overnight here, but none of it arrived, so we've still only got the snow from Thursday night/Friday morning. Mind you, it's cold enough here that it's not going to melt anytime soon.
OK, that's all from me. Gotta run and get cooking. Going to have half a glass of something later to celebrate my birthday a day early 'cos I won't be able to drink anything tomorrow once I'm PUPO!

hello ladies, i had acupuncture yesterday again for my allergy symptoms. I know it's not related to IF. please let me vent it out, I'm just so depressing. Each session of acupuncture is for one vitamin and require 25 hrs to stay away from that vitamin to let it detox and reprogram. I didn't have any problems in doing this except the session of mineral where i have to stay away of metal by wearing gloves or even socks and can only touch or use distilled water instead of tap water. This is my second week for mineral because last week i was so dumb trying to avoid metal but forgot to avoid tap water. I usually have 20 min water massage for my feet. That night I automatically took the tap water for my foot massage. Bingo! ALL my allergy symptoms came back to attack me including sinus, wheezing, low energy, muscle sores on upper body, anxiety, dizziness and diarrhea. When I tried to call the acupuncturist of all my symptoms, the reception old lady told me that there's no opening. When I called back the 3rd time, she warned me not to call again but let her call me if there's any opening. Anyway, it turned out there's no openings until my appointment of yesterdayp. This time, I knew for sure that I needed to repeat the session of mineral because of all the symptoms came back. I's well prepared and bought 4 gallons of distilled water before going to the appointment. I also brought my gloves with me to the acupuncturist. BINGO! I had to do one more session of mineral. This time, I remember not to have foot massage again. Seems like everything looks fine. This morning, I drank my usual red date soup. I used a filter to filter the dates from the water,. After a while, I felt the symptoms cam back a little bit and then remembered the filter is actually made of metal! I know this time I just have to take one more zyrtec today instead of waiting for the help of my acupuncturist. I mean I might understand that they're busy. But instead of warning me not to call them, they should suggest me the way that I can do in this panic situation when I lost my mind!

Hazel - I am so happy that you still have 4 embies thriving! I hope your ET goes great tomorrow! Does your doc require bedrest after ET? I do hope you enjoy being PUPO for your 35th birthday but better yet I hope this all means you will be MOMMY for your 36th! Let us know how your transfer goes!
Skyler - Congrats on your great second Beta!!
Me2009 - Congrats on TWINS! What a great surprise.
KATIE99 - Glad to hear that you have a plan of action with IVM. Do you have a new schedule yet?
SarahRuth - Have you seen the betabase website? It shows different beta levels for pregnancy. Hopefully this is reason to not give up hope. I hope your next beta goes well on Monday.
JUSTWANNABEAMOM - I look forward to hearing about your Wednesday beta. Have you POAS yet?
BRMOMMY2BE - How is your 2WW going?
Syanna - Are you excited for your Monday Beta? Have you POAS? Hopefully you have resisted!
BrooklynGirl - Good luck at your ER tomorrow. 14 follies is great! Keep us posted!
LorrieS - What an awful experience you had to go through. Im glad all is well for you and that your third beta was great!
AFM - Well, I am getting used to the BPF. My second beta is tomorrow morning. My clinic only does two betas if my second comes out ok. Has anyone else heard of just two betas? Then I'll have an u/s the first week in January. My high beta doesnt rule out twins but its a toss up at this point. We transferred 2 great blasts so I guess its possible. We wont know until January. I'm just trying to take it one day at a time and hope for a good number tomorrow.
I hope you are all having a great weekend and I hope those of you on the east coast of the US are safe and warm tonight in the blizzard!
Well, we are getting alot of snow! I'm not looking forward to the morning's shoveling out the driveway - again! So I just found out that the way the schedule worked out my DH is home now until 1/4 - wow thats alot of time together. Now dont get me wrong, I love this man dearly - but 18 days straight? Of the tv running at a really loud volume? Of the loudest video games ever? Oh, boy house in chaos!
Nanine -OMG how scary for you! I'm so glad to hear that you and the babies are doing alright! Does this mean that alot of bed rest is in your future? I can barely deal with 3 days of bed rest - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! How is the morning (but lasts all day) sickness?
Me2009 -TWINS? I'm so happy for you!!
Dodo -You've been having a rough time lately - I'm hoping that changes soon! Between the additional expenses and now your allergies acting up? Good thing it will all be worth it in the end - when you have that baby in your arms! - hugs!
Franny -Are you going to be snowed in too? we were watching A nightmare before Christmas earlier - I was thinking of you
Hazel -HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hooray for 4 embies! I'm praying that you have a singing, dancing one (or more) tomorrow! You'll be PUPO!
Hope that it goes very smooth and then let DH just take care of the pups and the house - you rest up! So much luck to you my friend! - xoxo
Brooklyngirl -Good luck with your ER tomorrow! Crossed for lots of healthy eggs!
TC -I'm sure that your 2nd beta will go just fine! My clinic just does 2 also ( although I've never gotten that far) I'll get my schedule on the 29th - this is one med class I wont be mad to sit through!
hugs & prayers to all of us! - xoxo

I'm a mess. I woke up at 2:17am and felt this 'gush' and there it was, some blood on the panty liner when I went to pee. UGH it's driving me nuts! I called the clinic yesterday and a nurse called me back and said that with me taking Lovenox and Endo inserts it's really common to bleed. As long as it doesn't become a 'flow' and dark red there's no need for concern. OH yeah, easy for her to say. I've been a wreck since yesterday. I had such a bad hip/ass cramp this morning that I litterly had to get up and take a hot shower to work it out! OUCH! So here it is now 330am I'm downstairs, ate something cause I was hungry and I'm dreading putting another supp in. Tomorrow (Monday) I'm 6 weeks. The nurse told me that if I wanted I could go in on Monday and get checked and they'd probably see something. Well I don't want to put myself through more stress so I think I might hold out and try to keep my spirits up that the spotting/bleeding IS from that and I can make it till Thurs for my actual appt (I'll be 6wks 4days).

Lorrie oh no what a scare. Hopefully it will not continue and the ultra sound will confirm that everything is fine.
TC oh yes the POAS like its your job marathon has begun! I started yesterday and still neg. I know its too early so I am not upset at all. I will continue daily or more often if need b HEHE! I will test in the afternoon today though cause I work night shift so when I get up it will be my first mornings pee. I will keep u posted.
I tell u guys these PIO shots suck. I have very large bruises and knots on both butt cheeks now sore as hell. I am running out of places to put them without going right directly into the bruise. How long do these knots last? Then I have 2 large bruises to my belly from the lovenox. Oh what we go through! I had vag. Suppositories last time messy but far from painful!

Ladies, just a quick one from me en route from my front door to the sofa! Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, the best present ever is getting PUPO on my birthday! We transferred one 'good looking' blast this morning (my clinic doesn't grade blasts, apparently, but it was looking just as it should for day 5). Because we are publicly funded they wouldn't let me transfer any more than that because of my age. We also have an embryo which is still a day behind schedule at about the day 4 developmental stage and another embryo which is further behind schedule at about day 3 stage. So they are going to keep an eye on both of those overnight and if they have a growth spurt and catch up they will freeze tomorrow.
It's a bit diasppointing that out of our 8 eggs and 6 embryos, we may only get the one we've transferred and nothing else, but I guess that's the reason they grow them out to blasts, to weed out the ones which are likely to be make it. But for now, I'm PUPO and off to open some birthday presents!
Check in with you all later, when I promise to try and do personals!

Enough with the snow already! it ended up to be around 6 inches which is pretty lucky, it could have been so much worse, but i'm done with the driveway finally! I think DH may get a snowblower for his birthday soon - anything to be done shoveling!
Hazel -Hopefully your DH is catering to you and the dogs! I'm so happy to hear that you're PUPO! Get some rest. I've got my fingers crossed for some snowbabies for you! When is your beta? oops I mean your RE approved HPT?
Claudia -I'm so glad to see you bounce back so quickly! Excited for your FET soon! See you on the Jan thread!
Lorrie -Oh boy - it seems like the stress never ends. i've got everything crossed for your u/s on thur! Try to get some sort of relaxation
Kelly -Yes, the PIO shots suck! You have to try to prevent any more knots - you start to run of of fresh sites quick! After the inj you have to do a firm massage of the area for 10 -15 min, and aheating pad seems to help disperse the oil - GL!
Franny -Its a nice feeling to be done, isnt it? I hope to feel it myself tomorrow! I'm never still shopping this larte - now I get to play with the crowded parking lots, long lines, and rude people - yay Have a wonderful trip and enjoy your last drinks for a while!
