Hazel-- Mazel tov!!! What fantastic news. I wish you all the best.
Also, the same to Julia, BRMommy, and Skylar. I am so excited for all of you and the rest of the folks on the board.
Katie, I may be with you on the February board. I don't know yet. I see the doctor on January 13 to get the scoop.
And Lorrie, I am sorry about your loss. I hope things work out. Let me ask you a question, though. What did your RE say about DHEA? I read about it as well and was going to ask my doctor about it too. From what I read, though, it takes 4 months to work, and I am not sure that he will want me to wait that long if he wants me to wait that long.
And Happy Holidays to everyone else on this board. I am really glad to have found it and you all!
Ladies, thank you all for the lovely posts, PM's and emails. You have all been so lovely today it makes me cry! I am so happy and so lucky to have found this site, and you all. I did my ticker earlier today and that made me shed a tear too - part of me just never dared to believe that DH and I would actually get there. For all of those ladies who have already got their precious BFP, I'm so happy to join you, and for all those who didn't get their prayers answered yet, 2010 is the year for you!
The news is slowly sinking in for DH and I, we have told a very small number of people (only those who knew that we were doing IVF over Christmas), and that has made it seem a bit more real! Now I just want to wind the clock forward to my 7 week scan!!!

Hello ladies, Happy New Year 2010.. I was not sunk in too about finding a almost perfect match donor. The one that I was almost sealing the deal at the agency was good because she's proven but doesn't have much match. I have to confess that the only reason I wanted her instead than the ones at my clinic was she's cute. But the current one has more a lot of similarities that my DH and I cannot explain, especially she just came the night before I seal the deal with the agency. She's just too good to be true. We're now worrying if she'd change her mind. Or, if RE will approve her. I guess these are the things that I have no control of. I just have to let go and have peace in my mind.
Lou: Glad to know you have ET on 1/6 as it's getting closer and closer. GL to you.
Katie: Sometimes a little change can make a big difference. I hope that this time will be the last time you have to go through and GL to you.
Lorrie: I'm terribly sorry for the BFN. We're here for you to vent out. And you're not alone and you're not a loser. It's just not the right timing yet. As long as we keep trying, there will be hope.
If Katie is going to have ET in January, I wonder who is going to cycle in February? Good night and sweet dream. I'll go to the Jan/Feb thread to take a look. Bye for now.

low ovarian reserve, high FSH, male factor
5 IUI (<2002) BFN
#1 IVF - cancelled no response (2003)
2 missed m/c from natural pregnancies (2004)
#1 DE-IVF (11/23/2009) BFN
#2 DE-IVF (05/15/2010) m/c (blighted ovum) on 06/24/10
katie99 - nope, it's not sinking in at all really! Yes, we will have to think of names at some point, but I think Zorba is going to stay for the time being!
It all still feels very surreal - I'm still not feeling any symptoms other than slight cramping on and off, and feeling dizzy sometimes when I stand up. I think because I'm not having lots of pg symptoms, I still don't 'feel' pg, even though I've now got three +ve HPTs to my name! Seeing a +ve HPT is still such a strange feeling after having seen -ve after -ve HPT for years and years...
I spoke to the clinic today and asked whether there would be any value in paying to have a beta done - they said that it is only the u/s at 7 weeks which will confirm whether it's a viable pregnancy, and that unless I'm having a lot of pain and/or bleeding, there's no reason to go in for a beta. DH and I have also agreed that knowing that the HCG is low would only worry us more between now and the u/s, so we're going to go with what the clinic recommends and trust that it will all be OK. The clinic also confirmed that it's fine for me to get back to exercise (specifically, golf, which as you girls know I play a lot of!) - they said that if the pregnancy is going to stick, it's going to stick regardless of what I do physically from this point on, within reason. So I can get back to golfing, hurray! DH and I have already been out to play 7 holes this afternoon so that I can ease myself back in! I can't tell you how nice it was to get out, stretch my legs and get some fresh air (really very fresh, actually, it is cold today!!)...
