Hello to all, and sorry for the MIA!

The last few weeks have been somewhat of a night mare for me. Ive ended up in the ER on xmas eve with bad cramping. My babies are both fine, but my ovaries are super elarged still. I have alot of fluid in them still and mild OHSS. Ever since about week 7 ive not slept a full night. Im up peeing every 30 mins or so. Its horriable.

Anyways, I went to my first OB apt. Im going to a high risk dr who has alot of exp with twins. I was shock to find out that they in their practice said that my IVF doctor was "OVER" treating me with Heparin. They told me that the blood tests that my RE did about my blood clotting was not necessary. She said that i was not at risk for a blot clot. and cont being on the heparin would poss an bigger risk if i cont it. TALK ABOUT A 180! I was somewhat taken back as to what she said... so we are doing more blood work and then if that is OK, i will come off the Heparin!

So also, the nausea has been super bad, and thankfully i got some phengeran rx so i can get some relief and some sleep! :)

Anyways, babies are both equal in size and both had heartbeats of 181 and 183!! I was like holly crap!! I think they are both girls :)

I've been somewhat down lately, the whole feeling like CRAP and no energy has got me super down. The only time ive felt happy is when i had my ultrasounds and could actually SEE my babies! This past week we had an U/S and we could see them moving... WEIRD!! lol

So i guess ive had a bit of the baby blues... and havent had much energy to post alot, but ive been reading :)

Anyways, Im so happy for all the BFP for many of you ladies and very very sorry for the BFN out there!

Im just so still afraid and scared to death about these little twins! I don't think i will be OK until they are out and doing just fine! ;)

Ok Happy New year to everyone!!

xoxo

Me2009 I am glad your babies are doing well, I know how you feel when it comes to the nausea and the tiredness. I been up for a couple of hours and already tired. I am only 6wks5days pregnant, I read somewhere that it actually gets a little better in your second tri. Our babies are just doing a lot of work right now.
Oh and your babies heartbeat does sound like they are girls, that's awesome.

me2009 - Thank you! I'm so sorry to hear about your trip to the ER on Christmas Eve, and your continuing OHSS. When do they think the OHSS will disappear? What with that and the nausea, and the peeing every 30 minutes through the night, you're having a tough time of it! I really hope it'll get better soon. It sounds as if you're getting some great care at your OB app'ts, how amazing you've been able to see them moving around already!!!

Skylar - I gather from the info on your signature that you're having your first u/s today. GL!!! Let us know how you get on, and how many little ones you have in there! Does the fact that you feel so nauseous and tired at 6wks5days mean twins, do you think???

dodo - did your RE approve your new donor yet?

Hazel: RE have not seen the donor yet. When the donor and I first knew each other, her AF was just left. They will check her lining, AFC, and FSH on her next AF, about half a month more.

hi everyone - happy new year!!!

dodo - so happy you found a better matched donor!! i hope your RE approves her, she sounds perfect for you. what a way to start the year!

skylar & me2009 - i am sorry you both feel so bad. hopefully it will be over soon...

afm - just got my bloodwork results and my beta went from 42 to 740 (which is right around the 60% increase every day, yay!) but my progesterone remains too low (went from 11 to 10, despite the xtra endometrin). so i'll start an extra prometrium pill in the morning, on top of the 2 at night and the 3 endometrin inserts a day. 6 doses of my favorite medicine a day, woot woot ... why on earth can't my body absorb progesterone better, darn it! i guess i should stay away from heavy machinery (don't know if it does it to you but the prometrium pills put me to sleep in 2 minutes) but that's baby food so i'll gladly take it!

and good luck to everyone who moved to the jan/feb thread, i'll keep checking up on you all!

- julia

Julia78 Your numbers look wonderful. When are you schedule for a u/s?
Me2009 I hope that you will feel better. My RE told me to take mylanta but, that stuff doesn't work for me. So hopefully my ob/gyn will give me some anti acid and anti nausea meds. Soon.
AFM I had my u/s and we saw our little bean with a wonderful heartbeat. I thought to myself, could this really be happening to us?
So much heartache in the past, it's still a real shock that your dreams comes true. You just have to keep fighting for it. My RE said there maybe two little beans in there, we saw another flicker like another heartbeat and a small sack but, it was really hard to look at it. My RE states he going to call it one until we get another ultrasound. I am amazed we started with two morulas now one, possible two little beans.
I do want girls, my dad had four girls just like [/b]dodo. I always wanted all girls. My dh is the only boy left in his family so he wants a boy.

me2009 and Skylar: I just want to make a correction. I mean everyone including my father is happy to see his 4 daughters except my mother. Sorry for my English as my Second Language. What I mean is boy or girl is gifted and don't try to torture yourself to meet everyone's needs. Sometimes, you might be the only one who you cannot meet the needs. :D

Skylar - you saw the heartbeat, I'm so happy for you! And a possible second bean as well... When do you get your next u/s? Is your nausea getting any better?

albany - hello, Happy New Year to you too!

julia_78 - yay for good numbers!

dodo - will be thinking of you this month and hoping your donor gets approved.

LorrieS - (((((hugs))))), you and DH are still in my thoughts.

AFM, DH and I are trying to be patient until our first u/s. I'm still not feeling any symptoms, if anything I feel more normal (and less bloated) every day. If my HPT is still positive tomorrow (23 dpo) I can call up to make an appointment for my u/s (which will be 35-40 dpo, depending on what their schedule looks like). This wait seems to be even slower than the 2ww!
