Quick up date...... My ER went great. God I love the drugs!!!! They retrieved 18 eggs YEAH!!! Of course I do not except all 18 to be mature but last time they only got 9. My DH's sperm was great this time too. They plan to still do ICIS tonight and assisted hatching one hour before ET.. My lab will also IVM. Katie- i found this odd because of you only stimming for a little bit but the lab guy said they do this so the eggs mature. My lab guy ( embryologist sp??) said everything did look really good and that they were very pleased. This was all completely different then last time when I left in tears.. I will get a call tomorrow to see how many fertilized and ET on friday.... Of to go lay down because I feel a little queezy!!!!! Thanks again for all your well wishes. It really helps!!!! XOXOX!!!!

baby hopes reading your post made me cry tears of joy for you. Way to go, glad you had a happy expierence. As I get closer to my ER it good to hear HAPPY stories. Think HAPPY thoughts. Get lots of rest. Best wishes. Big Hugs!!!!

Babyhopes I am so happy to hear your ER went so great! Tomorrow we can update our feet reports together, too!

Thank you all do much for the kind words, encouragement and cheers! They had my PMA through the roof this morning. I'm going to keep this short...on the BB from bed. We got 25 eggs and I woke up ok, even though i was bawling for some reason! Feeling very sore right now and drinking tons of Gatorade! I think I'll take another nap before Idol!!

You all made this experience so wonderful so far! I look forward to enduring my 2ww and the completio of your cycles together! Thanks again!!

Riley-25 if great!! That's how many I had and now I have 11 frosties which is nice!! Are you going to do a 3 day transfer or a 5 day transfer?

baby hopes and riley: yay yay yay. wow. yes, very emotional to read how this time was so different from 'before'. you deserve a big dose of American Idol !

i have to run but got the call from my RE that they want me to trigger TONIGHT as my estrogen levels jumped. so my retrieval is now Thursday morning. i have to do the Novarel shot at midnight - and i'm nervous as all my previous treatments were Ovidrel which is subcutaneous, and this is an IM powder mix and must be done at midnight. i hope we get it right!

Babyhopes -Yipppeee for 18!

I'm so happy that your ER went well! Cant wait to hear the fert report tom! I was thinking that ivm will start to be used more often too, its a great tool for REs to save those follies that just cant catch up. My schedule seems odd to me also, but the last try when everything went "perfect" was a total of 10 days (8 stim & 2 for trigger) This time he's got me to stim for 5 days then 2 for trigger (follies still grow right up to ER) then 2 to mature, 1 day for fert. So I guess it still equals 10, but it sounds like theres not too much left for a little wiggle room if needed? I'm so curious myself! Do you know already how much bed rest you'll have to do? if any? Are you set with time off work? Yes, I know, a thousand questions - sorry. Get some rest!

Rub the belly - good. Just be careful about lifting, bending, twisting. I know you're uncomfortable, but its not for too much longer!

Jaydentd -Looks like we will stim at the same time -again. Werent we at the same time in Sept too? Just as long as we get a better result this time!

hms -Yay for trigger! IM injections really arent that bad - make sure that DH pulls back the plunger a bit to ensure that you're not in a vein / vessel. If you dont feel comfortable with the mixing instructions, most drug manufactures have online video / instructions. You'll do fine!
