hms- yay for the green light on your trigger! i can't wait to hear how many eggs you'll make. i feel like you're moving so fast! i wonder why some trigger shots are im. mine last time was subcu & will be the same this time around.

riley- woohoo!!! you go girl...25 eggs!!! get some rest & enjoy idol! hope the soreness goes away. can't wait to hear your fert report!

babyhopes- haha...i love the drugs too! i'm so happy for you! congrats! cannot wait to hear about the fert report tomorrow. i woke up bawling when they did my er the last cycle...dh said i was really emotional. have no idea why.

bei- i'm there with you. now that i made it to tuesday, i'm ready for af to come. where are you, you evil witch???

katie- thanks for updating my status. hopfeully i can move to the "stims" part soon.

gi- fingers are crossed & hips are moving for the no cancellation dance.

merri- i had 2 transferred as a 3dt. i got a bfp, but unfortunately miscarried.

claud- question for you. i've read about pineapple, but what about baby aspirin? i mean, i know it is given for clotting issues. i asked my re about it. he said i didn't have that as an issue that caused the miscarriage. but would it hurt to take it? i read a diet high in protein helps with the thickening of the uterus. other things: red raspberry leaf, pomegranate juice.

afm...still no af. it is now tuesday night. i spoke with my nurse today. she said as soon as i get it, to come in for my baseline. oh yeah, we got the green light for dh's tesa.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day and is doing well. I had a long day today. Just got home from my son's football banquet. I have a 17 and 18 year old.


AFM- my nurse called me and changed my meds. Actually added menopur now. So now lupron and follistem in the AM and menopur in PM.
She said everything looks good and I am track to trigger either saturday or sunday. I go back for my Sns on friday to see how the follies are doing.

moorebaby: i can't believe i'm triggering already, too. the first week of shots went so slowly, and now i will have gone to my RE's 4 days in a row. i cried at my last ER too! but then again, it may have been because i only had 4 eggs! see? AF held off..i'm sure you're anxious to get going now.

rlk: is your transfer still friday? how are the PIO shots? since i'm doing my retrieval thurs, i think my transfer won't be until saturday or sunday at the earliest.

riley baby: how was the American Idol distraction? i missed it as I was..yep, out with friends (my own distraction).

franny: what's your follie count up to? i think you, me and katie99 are all somewhere in the same range.

jenice: ugh the million dollar thing you mentioned - that really hit me. people don't always get it, no. it's tough to decide who to be open about this stuff with - because you simply don't know how they'll respond. frankly, i'm surprised more of my friends haven't gone through this - it's like, really? you're all in your 30's and get knocked up that easily!?

positivethinking: i can't wait for india. we're going to rajastan (sp?) and agra where the taj mahal is (isn't that where katie perry just got engaged?)

katie99: i ran through the instructions with DH before he went to bed...we haven't done an IM shot since last april (our last IVF). now i've got to wake him up 'cause it's time to get to work...

Back from SnS, trying to make my heart listen to my head. I thought I would go in and be told how many follies I had and that everything looks great. What I got was "no dominant follicles found" about in tears, I talked to my nurse who was not the least bit surprised. She said they did not expect to see any this early as I have only been stimming for 4 days, but that they had to check just to be sure that I was not overly sensitive to the med. This would have been a GOOD piece of info to know before hand. So now my head is better and I am trying to convience my heart that everything IS okay. Lining is 1, and since I just said goodbye to AF yesterday, they say that good. Waiting for call back this afternoon with level ( which should not be anything with no follies, and my next SnS.

What a weepy day......dont smoke... cant drink ..... chocolate makes my face break out..... dont want sex...... any ideas on how to break this blahhh?????

Hey girls, congrats on the ER and good luck for ET....
Just a little word for dodo, for stomach flou...I never took antibiotic, I only eat as little as possible. I only eat white rice, white bread...with no seasoning no nothing so your stomach does not get upset. If i can drink, i drink water only...good luck, only time will fix it...and it is super contagious so stay away from people... (sorry...)

Tomorrow I have my SnS and mu schedule for the upcoming months.... I will love to have some advice on freezing the embryos.... since I am planning to only do 1 IVF, I do not want to freeze anything (it is really expensive)...Because I have unexplained infertility, Dr. say it is all in the head, so I dont want to spend $$$$ when the problem is only spcychological and IUI already failed, so I am not sure if IVF will work but I am trying anyways so no regrets... but I am not sure what to do with eggs...freeze them or not??? Would love to have feed back...

Hey Misocial.... I just want to let you know that everything will be fine... The nurse said it was normal so I would trust her... I am sorry, it is my first IVF so I am not sure what to expect.
However who care if your face break out, GET THE CHOCOLATE, at least you will feel better and happier, which is the most important, than put windex on your face and you should be good!!!
Can we not drink when we start the cycle???? After ET I understand but how about before???

I have not since I started the Lupron, thought it was bad, not even a glass of wine. Not that I want to drown myself but a nice glass of vino at the end of this day would be awesome.

missocial and positivethinking: i drank an occasional glass of wine before retrieval on my last IVF and during my stims during all 4 iuis. they didn't work. who knows if alcohol had anything to do with it. my RE claimed it didn't - he thinks alcohol is more of a contributor AFTER the insemination/transfer. however, this time i decided not to drink during stims. we'll see...

also missocial - how about trashy magazine like InTouch, Life&Style, etc?? that's a guilty pleasure with no zits or hangovers.[/b]

Misocial- like positivethinking said. If the nurse said everything was fine, than I'm sure everything is fine. The tech told me my lining wasn't very thick and on the right my follies were small but my left were more and that was my dominant sign. I was a little discouraged at first, but my nurse and then my RE assured me that everything was fine and doing good. I was only on day 4 of stims too. Plus they said once I start the progestorone inserts, my lining with thicken right up.

So, you are doing fine. When is your next ultrasound and blood draw?

Misocial - I know the feeling well, I've made the 2hr drive home from my clinic in tears many times. This process can drive you crazy if you let it. You sort of have to just jump in and hang on tight through this wild ride. But things can change so quickly, I bet they'll call with a dosage change and your next SnS can be a total 180 in a few days, it happens all the time. You're pumped full of hormones right now, so bear that in mind
Getting weepy, moody, pissy is normal (not fun, but normal)
My RE says to "act pg" from stims on. If nothing else will satisfy you, I cant imagine how 1 glass of wine would be a big deal. My RE is more against coffee than anything else ( my downfall) And keep in mind, everyone stims differently, some go for 8 days, some go 14. You're so early on in stims, theres lots of time - try to relax - hugs to you!
