i have to keep this short because DH brought home a movie and is yelling at me to stop messin around and come watch the movie haha
(maybe he needs a lesson in patience!)

I'M TRIGGERING TONIGHT!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!! trigger tonight at 930pm...ER friday @ 930am!!
i cant believe i finally made it to this point....i am in shock!
when the nurse told me i started laughing/crying and said "i'm sooo excited to get a shot in the butt!!!!!" haha
ok DH is starting it without me....more later i promise!
(its the hangover BTW...i LOVE this movie!!)

baby hope - Thank you so much for the advise

latrell22 - I just did my first acupuncture treatment this past Monday. I was told that it has not been scientifically proven yet, but it does increase blood circulation to the uterus lining and ovaries - which is suppose to help with pregnancy. My doctor recommended, but again stated that it has not been proved to increase your chances at IVF. I figured it wouldn't hurt & I could use it as a stress reliever. I have my second session on Wed. of next week.

Mandy / Cami / Paty -WELCOME!! you all have come to the right place - as the girls are the best! Its a stressing process but to have the support of all these wonderful ladies surely makes it better When you get your dates let me know so I can update our list - it can get confusing without it!

Paty -Your ovaries are enlarging from almond size to lg walnut size, plus theres all the fluid buildup, its normal to feel, bloated, slower, tender, weird twinges. its a part of it, thankfully its just temporary. And worth every moment to get that BFP! Good luck!

Jenice -Aww, now ins problems too? Ugh! You need to get your BP down ASAP - What did your cardiologist say?

Chris -We have Aetna also, but NO coverage at all, this being 100% out of pocket is really getting old - although if I ever get a BFP - I'll stop complaining about it As always, I keep everything crossed for you - and now your sister too!

hms -Good luck with your ER tomorrow!

Gi -At this point in the game - I'd refuse to leave them alone until they give you a date that wont interrupt your schedule - maybe whine to Dr? whatever works for you - crossed for you always!

babyhopes - hooray for 9 fert!!! So excited for you! Thankfully it went much smoother this time! PUPO on friday! BTW - Octomom was reported to have paid for all ivfs with student loan $ - unbelievable! - i'm glad to hear that you'll be taking a week + off work, then have good team to help out when you do go back - you'd never want to look back and think "what if". Yes, I have only had to put on a lead vest for an OR observe clinical day - I cant imagine how uncomfortable you can get to wear one all day every day.

misocial I am new to the IVF world, so I don't have a lot of advice, but I say chin up and hang in there! An extra sprinkle of follie growing dust and a grow follies grow dance is coming your way. I can only imagine the dismay your feeling right now. Some positive news on the meds, is that maybe you can find someone to trade with, or purchase at lower cost. That isn't a lot of help, but maybe a little.

turtle0619 Congrats on triggering! I'll be thinking of you on Friday! Right now looks like I should be triggering over the weekend with an ER on either Monday or Tuesday.

babyhopes Wow, I think 9 fertilized is awsome! Way to go girl!! You will be PUPO by the weekend!

msmac I am doing ok thanks! I had a little bit of a reaction to my Gonal-F yesterday when the upped my dose, but everything else is good. How bout you?

afm Well, today was day 3 of SnS! Yuck!! I am doing ,"so well" that they want me in again tomorrow?!?! 4 days in a row of SnS. The way they made it sound they want to watch me closely and I'll be doing this at least through Friday. Oh the joy! That being said I still have 13-16 follies depending on the day and the largest measures 14-15mm. My lining was 8.8 and that is with AF still visiting. My E2 was 125 yesterday and 350 today. I am not to sure but I am guessing that these are all good numbers. I start the Cetrotide tonight and am waiting on my voicemail to give me the dose on my Gonal-F and low dose hcG. I asked today when we were looking at for a ER and my RE said Monday or Tuesday!! Woohoo! I am almost there!!

gi - your last post made me laugh so hard! That's why I have cats! So glad that it looks like you'll get your surgery in time!

moorebaby - re: baby aspirin - it just improves blood flow. I don't have any clotting issues, but my doctor said it's one of those things that can't hurt, and might help.

Positive thinking - your doctor says it's all in your head just because he can't explain it? That seems really wrong. I agree with everyone else who says "Freeze!" Besides, even if you get a BFP this time, you use them to try for another child in a couple of years! I know a couple who had 4 kids (twins, and two additional singletons) from one fresh cycle.

misocial - we're all rooting for your follies! I would hate to see you cancelled. This process is crazy-making.

Jenice - I'm with to_have_fun - you should talk to your clinic. They may be willing to negotiate a lower rate for you if it means you staying there.

samgarkay - so sorry that you have to do 4 SnS in a row, but it sounds like you're progressing really well!

AFM - I had my SnS today, and I'm going faster than usual. I'm on day 5 and I have 10 that are between 13-15mm and 1 that is about 10mm. So, that's pretty good for me. (I had more on my first cycle, but a bunch were really small and didn't mature in time.) My dr think we'll probably do ER on Monday, give or take a day. I have to go back on Friday for another check.

katie - can you change my ER date to 1/18 when you update? You're doing such a great job keeping track of all of us.

So your ER will be on day 9 then? fantastic - you would make my RE very happy! I bet now you're liking the antagonist protocol?!!!! Soooo excited for you to make it to ER!!! be nice to DH today - cause he's holding the needle later!

Misocial -I'm holding out for your appt on friday to have some measurable follies. Did they at least lower your lupron? Its a tough call, most dont even measure follies under 10mm - I nag them to do it. The first cycle is a learning cycle, your RE will now have a better idea on how you will respond to a protocol. I've been cancelled 3 times. Once for over suppression ( thanks to lupron) and twice for a dominant follie growing out of control. Once they switched me to a different med protocol (antagonist) I've had a better response (still bfn, but we got closer at least) As far as the meds go, most clinics receive donated meds from a bfp cycle, I know I will donate back everything I have left over. Be honest with the nurse, they're working people too and totally get how financially exhausting this can be - see if they can work out a trade, at least for the expensive meds. I'll keep you in my prayers & send NO CANCELLATION vibes your way - big hug

dodo- you can't really take an antibiotic for the flu. the flu is a viral infection. antibiotics work only for bacterial infections. unless you have a 2ndary bacterial infection, you really shouldn't be taking antibiotics.

hms- good luck tomorrow at your re! i'll be thinking about you. can't wait to hear how many eggs they'll get.

gi- you have to hound them or else they'll take their sweet time. so how long after they remove the polyp do you have to wait?

claud- woohoo for being off bcp's! what does dh do for work? i know what you mean about having great coverage while working for the government. i'm a teacher, so i'm considered to be a town employee & our coverage is pretty good.

rlk- are you still doing an fet this friday? how many will you be transferring?

afm....i got it!!!! AF, that evil witch has made her presence. woohoo! i go in for a baseline tomorrow morning & then start follistim tomorrow night. last time i stimmed for 12 days, so based on that i'll probably have my er around the 26th. round 2...here we go!

NOT GOOD BP 180/100 today so my bp meds will be increased. plus, I finally paid attention to the scale and have gained 40lbs since doing in-vitro I spoke with my clinic and they won't negotiate price. So , I will be going to the other clinic and start the paperwork and all. I 'm putting IVF on hold to get healthy no use in getting preggo. I think I have PCOS cause all my weight is around my mid section, plus my high bp, and high E2 level when doin IVF. Plus numerous RE have looked @ my ovaries and ask if I have it. Sometimes I wonder if I can get preggo without IVF, did the first time and @ least have more cycles to try for.

misocial - So SOOOOOORRRY to hear about them possibly cancelling you. I always hated that but I was cancelled cause RE couldn't suppress me. Maybe they should do the antagonist protocol on you next time ? Maybe they suppressed you to much ????? Sometimes they do have to play with the meds to see how you respond. I know how dissapointed you must feel Especially since it is coming out of your pocket.

Gi - Sorry to say but won't be cycling with you, I'm going to stop BCP's tonight.At least I cancelled myself Maybe take a couple months off and join a gym and eat alot of salads Good luck with your surgery and cycle. I'll jump in to see how everyone is doing. Hasta La Vista

Hi ladies! Sorry for the delay in my report, but I had to go back to RE today due to HORRIBLE pain. He drew blood to see if I have over stimulated. So, we will see what happens. However, put of 25 eggs, 20 were mature and all 20 fertilized. Thank GOD!

I promise i will catch up on personals as soon as I can. I am not being a very good cycle buddy right now and i have a lot of cheering to do for you guys!

Babyhopes...I am so happy to hear your report! I think the fact that we cycled together and have the name in common is a great sign. I feel lucky to have you as my ER sister!!! My ET will be Sunday. See you sore today? I can hardly move.

To all who sent Congrats, I am so thankful and will be up and running again very soon so that I can repay the encouragement.

okay I was wrong about that podcast date. it's actually December 16th, 2009 where they discuss acupuncture and IVF, not January 7.

jenice: Going to the other clinic sounds like the right decision, whether you do it now or in a few months. yo might find you prefer the RE there, anyway. it's crazy how the tide can turn so quickly with this whole process especially because there are so many factors. thanks for the wishes, and good luck whatever you decide.
