Hey ladies.... Again... I havent had a lot of time to catch up... or at least respond to each post, but I keep up on everything and my heart rises and falls with each important bit of news.

I am with my sister right now and she just had a round of chemo so it was a long night.... she's in a lot of pain and and is sick, sick, sick to her stomach.

I did get in touch with the clinic and they confirmed it... we are just ahead a day. There's no harm done at all, but my DH may have to try and squirm out of work a day early which might be difficult. We'll play it by ear... We want to do ER on the 27th or later.... that gives me until the night of the 25th until I trigger.... ten days of stims that I have to get through... please please hope that I last that long...

Oh! And I am on 150IU of Braville and 75IU of Menopur...

Hi everyone -

Ok so now the dogs are in on it too! I've been trying to post all day, yet every time I get near the computer my DH is like "honey, I cant find this"
"honey, help me look for my keys" "honey, you need to see this" ACK! all day long! In a house as clean & organized as this I cant understand how men NEVER know where things are? My keys go in the SAME spot every day - surprise- I NEVER lose them! He wanders around and puts things just anywhere then I have to hunt them down. So I go to post and now the dogs come up and give me the sad face "take me out" "play with me" "throw my ball" - So I think that somehow there in on it too!

Oh, I'm so glad you all like the first name idea!
I mean Jeez! we all talk like 3 times a day! :D

Samantha -My clinic wont allow any type of lube or lotion for fear that it will contaminate the sample - If he were to be really careful I suppose a water based one one be ok - Your Re & staff sound hilarious!
My RE is all brain with no personality - I've been trying to make him laugh for 15 months now, i've only succeeded twice. But once was after anesthesia, apparently I keep talking when I'm under and telling them how wonderful they are - that he found funny

Bei -There will be plenty of us left in Feb - Dont worry about being left behind. :D But AF - hurry up please!

Dodo -How are you doing? More sunshine please! it was warm here today - like a little peek at spring - send more!

Laurie -how is your couch detail going? Hope that your DH is catering to you. How many days do you have to be on the couch? Isnt it funny how it sounds like such a great idea, but after a day its so boring?

Marci -I'm glad that today is a better for you & your DP. It stinks, but think of it as a blessing in disguise - now you knoow that your next cycle you'll be giving yourself a much better chance! Two of the three times I was cancelled was thanks to lupron and Franny too! lupron is not my friend. I think its used as a standard protocol because if it doesnt over suppress you its known to produce a lot of eggs. But an antagonist cycle is known to produce fewer eggs, but of high quality. Also an antagonist cycle means less injections! yay for that! I"m so happy that you'll stay with us - you should only be delayed by a few weeks. And I look forward to your posts - love your sense of humor!

Ester - How goes your stims so far?

Paty - Sorry, but the ganirelix does sting a bit, its something that in its base - thankfully theres just a few of those!

Franny -Yiiiipppeeee for your rock star embie! Who I'm now picturing as already wearing sunglasses! 8) ( yeah, im a dork, I know)
Sooooo much luck to you tomorrow! And I hope DH will bw waiting on you hand and foot to give that rock star embie a chance to snuggle in tight!

Claudia -Me too! my Re will allow 1 cup of coffee per day, if you dont go crazy with other things having caffeine - so to give up the diet pepsi is the hard part for me - ugh - We live close enough to have the same weather - whoo hoo it was like spring today! hope you got to enjoy it!

Kim - Your DH is a riot! He better be waiting on you today too! How many days of jail, I mean bed rest did you get? I cant help but think of it as a sentence because its only fun for a little while - sticky thoughts to you

Quick update - I trigger at 9:15 tonight and then go in for retrieval on Monday at 7am! My work schedule is super-flexible in January, which is why I'm doing the fresh cycle now. I can shift my days around without worrying. We're also playing it by ear about whether it's a 3-day or 5-day transfer, depending on how many fertilize.

Dandme - You and your sister will be in my thoughts - I can't imagine how hard that must be.

Kim - I hadn't thought of that, about the holiday! I was joking with my dh that if I get pregnant, we have to name the baby Martin.

Best to all!

Hello ladies! I wanted to check in, although, I have been reading forever (no joke, I had to read from page 28 to 44) Yikes!

Lou-I am so very sorry for your BFN. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Marci-I went through 2 canceled cycles and it sucks!! Every step of this process is hard-take time to regroup, enjoy life, and find strength to continue on. Maybe you can join me on the March/April boards when I finally get going again?!

Kim-love the "prick my ass"! I would be afraid to let my DH decode-he might come up with some very interesting sayings ;)

Katie-You are getting so close now! I have everything crossed for you. My DH constantly loses things and asks me where they are. I have named myself "The Keeper Of All Crap"-some men must be missing this gene.

Franny-It only takes one! Grow beautiful embie grow :)

Beth-Best of luck with ER on Monday.

Rlk-Yeah PUPO!!!! I'll be checking back on the 28th for your great news.

Well, I was really silly...The RE called back last Friday but my cell phone was dead so I didn't get his message until this Wednesday (lost my charger). The donor agreed and said she was very excited to help. I am feeling good about our choice-she has donated before and it resulted in a pregnancy. Do you think I should ask how many eggs she produced last time? I don't know if I am allowed that info. or if they would know. I have to wait for AF to get started-can't wait!!

Keep the faith-PMA and baby dust to you ladies!

beth- yeah trigger baby! your retrieval is early on monday. wow! that's great that your work schedule is flexible...that definitely helps. will you be transferring the same number even if it's a 3d or a 5d? thanks for the name compliment :-)

katie- stims are going ok. my shot stung a little today. but i will take follistim injections over pio injections any day. by the way, i was CRACKING UP reading your story about dh losing his stuff all the time. that is EXACTLY me & dh. the keys was a perfect example. i give up. i do NOT understand why you'd leave your stuff in random places & not 1 set place, so it's always there. what a novel idea, lol!

dandme- my heart goes out to you & your sister. how awful, what she's going through! it makes me want to cry. i really hope she gets through this & things start looking good for her soon. i hope everything works out with dh's schedule & your er.

kim- that is so hilarious that dh thought pma is prick my ass. how funny! so how does it feel to be pupo?

claudia- yep, cold turkey on caffeine. i know, i'm insane. i still don't know how i'm doing it.

franny- i'm in tears reading your story! that little dude (or dudette) is a strong little sucker....i'm so happy for you. if that is not a sign, then i don't know what is. it's meant to be. so tomorrow will be a 2dt, right? then you'll be pupo! i'm so ecstatic for you :-) that little embie will make it through because he needs his mama.

hello ladies, how's everyone doing? Sorry for the MIA! I have been so sick for virus infection and could not do anything and make me so depressed. I'm feeling better but still feel the symptoms. I just hope that it can go away SOON.

I went to the baseline appointment yesterday.. RE found a cyst in my left ovary but told me that it's common for women having peri-menopause symptoms. He ordered me a blood work and made sure that the cyst didn't produce estrogen. The result came back. E2 is 295 and FSH is 10.5. He's expecting my E2 to be below 100. He asked if I had taken any estrogen supplement. He told us to go back in a week for another b/w to double confirm. The only hormone supplement that I can think of taking it now is Fertility Blend for Women. DH and I talked about it and decided to stop taking it from now.

Katie: Glad to see you still managed to get a post or two in. It's the same around here, and it absolutely amazes me. My dh loses things all the time too. I am just going to ask about the lube tomorrow after my dh walks out. The funny thing is he was ok asking my RE if he could use the wand, and when she says on who, he replys on me, or anyone else that will let him. He is so excited about the visit tomorrow because she is going to let him, "take it for a spin." OMG. My RE thinks that my dh should be on stage as a comedian and she loves him!

moorebaby: Good luck with the b/w tomorrow. Glad to hear the injections have been a breeze. I haven't had any problem doing them but man do I hate the Cetrotide one. It burns a little and gets all red around it for awhile afterwards. I love the idea of a sharpie face on your butt!! LOL I can only imagine what someone would say if that saw that.

Franny: I have my prayers going and the dances going that your one little embie makes his/hers way to where it belongs.

Beth: Lets hope your theory about your being good luck to cycle with is true! I need it, and I hope that I can be your lucky charm too. I trigger tomorrow night for a 7am Tuesday ER. I'll be thinking of you Monday. In the meantime I have another SnS tomorrow am. Got to love this schedule. I am just going to ask about the lube tomorrow, but from what I can tell there is 1 sperm friendly one on the market called Preseed.

Claudia: Thanks for the tip on the Preseed. Does look like its about the only recommended one on the market. I will ask tomorrow anyways after my dh walks out, but fortunately there are a couple Apothocary shops around here that sell it. I am sooo jealous. Only 5 minutes from your RE's office!!! I drive anywhere from 40-65 minutes one way depending on traffic. The weekend visits have been nice since there is a lot less traffic. Hopefully tomorrow is my last SnS but I am guessing that I will be there again Monday, and then of course my ER is now set for Tuesday!

I have another SnS tomorrow am and then I trigger tomorrow night! WooHoo! By this time next week, I'll be PUPO!!

Hi Sara, glad to hear you found a proven donor. I would ask her the number of ER. I would also ask about the AFC and FSH of her last successful donation, # of embies fertilized, # of days had they made to, what are the grades of the embies, # of snow babies. Does she have an agency or belong to your clinic?

dodo-Thanks for the info. I really don't know what I should/can ask for so this gives me a great place to start. I wonder if they didn't give it to me because of the sperm factor-my DH has low count/motility so results may be very different for how many fertilize and how many will make it to freeze. I will definitely ask.

good luck Franny-I'm thinking of you today!

franny, heather, & riley- after today's et, you will all be pupo!!! i bet those embies can't wait to snuggle in their warm mamas. make sure you get some rest & have your dh's take great care of you, as i am sure they will. thinking of you :-)

afm...had b/w this morning. if no call back from re's office, then continue with 175 follistim. go in for b/w & an u/s on tuesday. i'm starting to feel the ovaries morph into 10 pound weights. it's not that bad, but i'm sure in a few days, it'll be fun

lots of sticky baby dust all around ladies...love ya!
