I think I should probably be checking 3 times a day if I don't want to get behind on here!

Cami- Hooray for your many happy embryos! I'm hoping you have the pick of them tomorrow, plus some to freeze (for your next pregnancy, of course, because this will be a BFP for you). I'm going in just before you tomorrow - transfer at 8:30am!

Roshaunda- That's great that you have four - good luck with the ET on Sunday!

misocial and es- both of you win today's prizes for worst clinic behavior - unbelievable!

sdc- Welcome! Like everyone else says, it only takes one, and at least you know from the PGD that it's a good one.

franny- I'll add my voice to everyone else who says the cramping is good. I had cramping for both of my chemicals - right about that time. And I never had any other symptoms, not even the sore boobs that everyone else seems to get from the progesterone. (And I think maybe we should start a Google Anonymous support group - I torture myself too!)

Lou I think you're going to get to cycle twice with us! I'm totally jealous of your ski trip - sounds great (and a bargain). Also, I have gotten a couple more eggs out of my Ganirelix cycles too.

Katie and Ronda add me to the list of Twilight addicts as well. I have a couple close friends who love it too, we shared all the books, and watched the DVD at a girls' night!

Samantha my cycle sister - Yay for your 7 beautiful embies! Will you be on bed rest too? I'm looking forward to a couple of days with nothing to do.

miyaya 16 follies is fantastic - and better that there's not one big one, right? I'm sure they'll up your meds and you'll do great.

I can't remember who asked, but I'll probably be transferring two tomorrow. Unless they look really bad, I can't imagine my RE would recommend more than that. I am SO looking forward to bed rest (movies and books and DH bringing me food), but I know that after 6 hours or so, I'll be sick of it!

So, weird question, has anyone else had the progesterone make them pee all the time? I've had to get up 2-3 times a night for the last couple of nights, which is very unlike me. I'm glad this is happening before transfer, or I'd be obsessing about it as an early pregnancy sign.

Hello Ladies, Sorry to have been gone for a few days but my daughter was sick all of Tues and work has kept me busy till now and I so tired when I get home so I have been not checking in...boy I'll never let that happen again.....You girls have been busy...

So here I go trying to get to some of the personals if I missed you I am sorry and send BFP vibes to all...

Karenthescorpio- Yeah to starting stims!!!! It s a big step towaard a BFP!

ES- OMG about that nurse.. I would tell the RE or the office manager. The nurse should have checked the chart/name immediately once the patient showed any signs of confusion... I mean if someone does not pay is it money out her pocket???? She should be nervous!!! I would say something so she would just stay away from me....

Marci- IVF is a business and you are paying for a service..... I hate when medical people do not remember that...

KIM- I am so nervous with this 2ww too. I think we all analyze everything because we want it so bad.... I can offer you no words of wisdom other that hang in there Thursday will be here soon....

Heather- How are you feeling??? What are you doing to stay busy??

Franny- the 2nd week of the 2ww sucks harder and is so much worse than the 1st week.... Stay strong sister . Like I told Kim,, I am assessing everything I feel too. It just hurts so much to even think about getting a BFN because I want a BFP so bad!!!!! so the only thing I can offer you is... you are not alone......

Cami- Glad to hear your embies are doing great !!!!! You'll be PUPO soon!!! I go to BWH for my clinic.. I have a very good friend who goes to Boston IVF, she has had 2 BFP's from them!!!! How many are you going to put in?

Beth- Glad to hear everything is going great!! I'll be thinking of you tomoorw. Stick babies Stick!!!

Katie- A freakin rooster,, check to see if that thing needs a permit...... only your luck.... well you'll be waking the neighbors up with a crying baby soon to get them back hahaha and a baby can out cry anything or anyone anytime..... I read the host after the twilight.... it is a completely different type of story but it does pick up and is pretty good. I love books about 'make believe" worlds.

Ronda- welcome to PUPO world. Glad to hear everything went so well.

Paty- thinking of you. I hope all went well today!!!!

Sam- POPU soon for you too!!!! we all seemed to be clustered into groups. A lot of action going oon here. Glad to hear ET went well.

Lou- Thanks for the well wishes.. Enjoy your trip!!!!! I bet the scenery will be breath taking!!!

Roshaunda- Gla d to hear everyhting went well. How many are putting back??

Latrell- I did 4 vials of menopur ( so 1ml of liquid combined with 4 powders) just remeber to use a clean neeedle once you get all the meds in the springe because it will be come dull

Jacqueline- I just read ghost.......... 13 huh........ CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!! but a little jealous that you already know LOL!!!!!!! I still have 6 more days to go....

AFM- My beta is the 28th. I am so nervous that it hurts. Because I work with fluoro (xray) I have to wear 2 layers of lead skirts do my back is freakin killing me. Everyone I work with is so supportive and if well wishes guaranteed a BFP I would get one. I am truely blessed to be working where I do. Just waiting for the days to fly by till thursday. Thanks you all to have sent well wishes my way!!! sending bfp vibes to all!!

sdc- DH and I are using PGD this time. We are in a clinical study that our RE is doing. He suggested it for us since I qualified for it. It's a study that will test ALL 24 chromosomes and transfer embryos the same day. Unfortunately we won't know until the end which group we were in. I'm praying to be put in the test group rather than the control group. I'm trying to figure out a way to know which group I'm was put it. They don't decide until the day of transfer. Since we don't care about the sex of the embies, I can't say to them "only transfer girls...or boys". Anywho, I hope this cycle works...regardless of PGD! Best wishes to you! You only need one healthy, normal embie! Your chances are great!

Just a quick post to share with you how EVIL my clinic is (I'll try to catch up on personals this weekend!).

So....my transfer discharge sheet said that they do pregnancy tests 18dpo. Since I did a 6dt, I assumed they had made a mistake when they said that my Beta would be on the 28th (because that would be 19dpo). I called my nurse and left a message that I thought they meant that I should come in on the 27th for the Beta (6dt plus 12 days...makes sense, right?). Anyway, long story short, my nurse called back and left a message saying that they had indeed made a mistake, but in the wrong direction. They'd like me to come in now on the 29th instead of the 28th because they like to test 15 days after the transfer for thaws. Fifteen days after my thaw would be on Saturday, so they want me to come on the 29th (Friday) to avoid the weekend crowd.

REALLY?!?

Franny - I read your post and know exactly what you are feeling. I will also test on the 29th and it is killing me. I am usually very laid back and don't stress about much of anything. This time it is totally different. I get scared at every little twinge and wonder if it is AF. My first IVF I had a chemical pregnancy and don't remember the twinges so I get worried. I went for accupuncture today and that helped. He assured me that every time things are different and not to read anything into it. Easier said than done. I just keep trying to keep myself busy and with anything that I can find....suduku puzzles help me. I know it sounds silly but it at least gets me thinking of something else for awhile. Are you going to POAS? I haven't decided but it is very tempting. If you have any suggestions on something else to get my mind off of this I would love to hear it. My DH was supposed to work tomorrow but cancelled to try to keep me occupied.

By the way......does the PIO cause you to pee more....I thought it was just me.

Good luck to everyone and sticky dust all around!!!

I am going to make an attempt to do lots of personals! Wish me luck! :D

Moorebaby(Es)-Yay for 14 follies! I cannot believe that nurse. I would definetely tell someone about what happened. She is a liability. I would bet though that the receptionist already let somebody know. That kind of stuff cannot be happening. BTW you are on follistim? What dosages? Do you know what your antrical follicle count was to start?

MiSocial (Marci)-I would call. I would complain! I am sorry they are messing with you like that. Don't they realize how anxious and frustrated we are already?

DandMe(Sonya)-Hope today was a good day and you got to do some fun shopping or something.

Gi-I cannot a believe a doc was so insensitive to you on the DAY of transfer. That is fine if they really believe that, but the time to bring it up is after a failed cycle at the follow-up consult not BEFORE a transfer what a *****! Glad you don't have to see her anymore and proved her wrong to boot!!

Turtle(Franny)-Hang in there! Sending you lots of PMA. Cramps can actually be a good thing. Grow Poopo! Grow! Stick Poopo Stick!!! Stop googling! Even I know that and I am a serious newbie. Hang in there. Whenever you start to freak out come here, we will talk you down. Grow Poopo Grow!!!

Paty-Hoping things went well today!!

Miyaya-32 follies is good!! How long have you been stimming? What are your doses? Maybe they can just up them a little to get those guys to plump up!

Samgarkay(Samantha)-7 beautiful embabies!! That is awesome. Will be thinking of you on Sunday. Let us know how it goes.

Katie-AKA guinea pig #3. Just remember the third time is the charm! Can guinea pig's eat Rooster's? That could be your solution. :)

Cami-10 embies is awesome! Glad to here they are growing so well. Keep up the good work embies!!

Lou-Have a wonderful time on your ski trip! Enjoy taking that time for yourself. I am jealous Jackson Hole is one of the places that I haven't been, but would really like to go. Yep! You are still a Feb girl! Stick around!! I do acupuncture and really enjoy it. If nothing else it is an hour twice a week to completely relax.

Claud-Doing the thick lining dance for you!!!

Sdc-All you need is one. Stick embie stick!

msmac-4 embies is wonderful!! Pupo on Sunday!! We are moving right along in this group. Yay!

Latrell-Sorry I don't use that med, but my Menopur is powders in three vials that have to be mixed with a liquid. Seems somewhat normal.

Beth-Yay for being Pupo tomorrow!! I can't remember is that a 3dt or 5dt? Good luck!!! Progesterone can definetely make you pee alot.

Baby Hopes(Laurie)-Praying for a positive beta next week! Are you going to POAS before then. Stick embie stick!

Rlk-I am sorry! That is just stupid!! The least should could have done was left it alone. Seriously what is wrong with our clinics?

nej-peeing more is normal. Hang in there! The 29th will be here before you know it.

I want to hurry up and post this before I lose it. Update on me in a few.

Update on me-I had my baseline this morning. It went ok. She actually seemed a little disappointed with what she was seeing. She said there was 4-5 follies on each side. What is normal? What did each of you have?

So becuase of the low amounts of follies she uped my dosages before I have even started them. I will be on 225IU of Follistim and 225IU of Menopur. It really seems like a lot? What is everyone else on?

I was pretty upset and nervous when I was there and afterwards. I had an acupuncture appt and I was sitting in my car before it near tears. I told my acupunturist how I was feeling so she did some extra points for anxiety/stress. While I was there, it sounds weird, but I prayed. I prayed that the anxiety go away. That there is nothing I can do other than what I am already doing. I guess you could say I gave it back to God. And I felt 100% better when I left her office than when I went in. I will be upset if it doesn't work, but at least I can know that I did everything I could and I will be able to move on knowing that, without any regrets.

Sorry for being so long. It was just one of those days! Doing lots of different dances for you all and sending lots of sticky BFP dust!!

hello ladies, how is everyone doing? hope everyone is well! it's TGIF! YAY! i just want to give an update. A month ago, I had an acupuncture with 25 hrs special diet. I did something that not supposed to do and I called my acu to tell them i need treatment. the receptionist warned me not to call again and she would call me if she's availability. Since then, it messed up my body and mind. The whole thing was so weak and allergy came back, then virus, then infection, then depression last week. Finally, everything fixed and feeling myself again after a month. whew. the receptionist was also fired. I don't know the reason. but i know I'm not the only victim. but thanks for all the prayers. First time I'm getting back my life! have a nice nice nice weekend!

Thinking of Katie, Franny, HMS, RaysofSunshine! if i forgot anyone else, love you gals! XOXO

Tracy - the first time through I had 5-6 on each side. I did end up with a chemical pregnancy that time. this time the same thing. they saw 4-5 on each side. I ended up with 11 eggs....9 fertilized and 5 on day 3 ET day. I think this is actually pretty normal for most people I have talked to. The second time around I was on 150 (2 viles) repronex and 300 then bumped up to 375 of folistim. Don't worry you my RE kept telling me no matter how many eggs they only need one to get you pregnant. Keep thinking good thoughts and try not to worry about it. I am sending you good positive thoughts!!!!

-- As for my ski trip... we moved it up and planned it last night. DH and I were both able to get 2/3 - 2/7 off and are heading to Jackson Hole, Wy! We are using FF miles and got a nice hotel we've stayed at before for $60/night. I had a great Expedia coupon. We were going to go the week of 2/21, but it would've pushed my next cycle into April because my clinic closes down 3/14-3/27. Soooo... RE wanted me to start BCP's now. Currently I'm on BCP's and will have my baseline 2/10. If all's well, I'll stim 2/12 and have ER the week of 2/21. Does that still put me in this group? My other news is that I've decided to start accupuncture for fertility. I figure, it can't hurt. And there's decent evidence to support it. I know some of you are donig it... how have your experiences been? Do you have a comparison between a cycle with and without accupuncture you can share with me? I have my initial consultation and first session today after work. I'm planning to go 10 times between now and just after ET. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your support everyone. Baby dust to all!
Hi Lou - congratulations on your next start date - wow.. that is fast. I'm glad that they are able to get you going again so quickly. I have some experience with cycling with and without acupuncture and thought I'd share. I did not do acupuncture my 1st IVF - BFN. I did do acpuncture my 2nd and 3rd IVF - both BFP. Anything to it? I dunno. But I definitely plan to go back again. He has a specific protocol (which I'm sure most do) for IVF cycles. This time, for $$ constraints, I asked him which ones were CRUCIAL and which were just recommended... we'll see if I can get DH to swing for all of them, esp. since he squirmed out of taking herbs for the last few months to strengthen sperm mobility!! Anyway, I hope it goes well for you. If you want to know which dates he says are most crucial, let me know and I'll get back to you.

MUCH LOVE & ... and needles.. ;)

moorebaby & marci - I have been pondering your situtations all day. they keep coming back up in my mind and I am getting angry on your behalf!!

moorebaby - I hope you had a chit chat with your RE about ol' nurse Debbie. She needs some serious talking-to. I am amazed at her nastiness with you and complete lack of regard for you AND for poor "Tasha" - whoever she is!! It's really unprofessional and unacceptable.

And speaking of unprofessional and unacceptable... Marci, isn't this the 2nd time you got a call from someone at your office just to say, "Hey, we haven't forgotten you, but someone will call you later" - what is up with that, first of all?!! Call and tell me something already - don't call to say you're going to call! And then, on top of all of that to NOT call?!?!! REALLY!?!?!@!!!

Anyway, I know you are big girls and can take care of yourselves, but I just wanted to say I'm feeling for you... :) do what u gotta do, and hang in there!!

Lou: I just saw someone post and saw your next cycle day. So sorry, I miss your BFN. Hope you're doing well and get more rest and have more fun before the next battle! Next time, it'd be your turn! Crossing fingers for you!! XOXO

AFM, I just went to another RE appointment because of my cyst and my E2 level was off a little bit last time. This time RE told me that my cyst is smaller than last time by 1cm. And my endometrium is lower than others but he said it's fine. He would wait for the b/w of today to see if my E2 is too high, he will let AF come first. o/w, he will put me on BCP this time. will give an update! have a good day!

lou: I read one of your post about acupuncture. I believe it help because it improves blood circulation and indirectly help the uterus lining. There are too many acupuncturist today. if you feel more relaxed after it, you find the right one. if you feel the same, maybe need to shop for another one. I have to shop for the 5th one before I found the right one. Glad to know you're on BCP now! And have fun to your ski trip!

katie: Crossing fingers for your RE to see BFP on guinee pig #3! Is it still cold at your area?

Franny: Thinking of you! Hang in there! Is it 7 days to go? It's pretty long. What about rent some movies? Crossing fingers for you!
