Paty~Sorry about the ER. I know how disappointing only 1 egg is. My last cycle, they expected between 10-13....I only had 2...only one mature. sadly it ended in BFN. However, the girls are right.....they learn so much about you and your body during each cycle...they can adjust accordingly. It only takes one:)
AFM, I had SNS. I am awaiting results. I did however find out my lining beefed up to 10.6mm since Friday.....seriously? I did not think it got that thick so fast. I hope that its a good thing. I have no idea how my follies are doing. The u/s tech was tight lipped. I am kinda leary of a cyst....we shall see. I expected a call in the next hour or so...I will keep you posted.
Well I have to go. I am on break at work....I am sure work would be real impressed with my posts:)

sorry for back to back posts but i didnt want to loose the first one!
afm well i havent had anymore spotting since last night, but it doesnt stop me from running to the bathroom and checking every 10 minutes! i'm not feeling very crampy today...a little bloated, and the butt pain is back! oh and i did not POAS today!! i'm stronger then i thought!! i did go out and buy a 3 pack of first response....just incase i cave! maybe tomorrow? maybe wednesday? we'll see how i do! i did call the RE's office and let them know about the spotting, and they said not to worry and its very common and normal....it kinda made me feel better...kinda! haha
thank you all so much for all of your wisdom, advice, PMA, and just being there for me. i dont know what i would do without you all. i am so thankful to have such strong supportive woman on my side!! *tear*

Paty - So sorry you didn't have anything to transfer. I had a cycle in July that none of my embies made it to day 5 so I didn't do a transfer. Its just as bad as a BFN. If you can do another cycle, I am sure it will be better. Lots of Dr.s say that the first cycle is kind of an experiment to see how your body responds.
Katie - I see you are going to ER. How many follicles do you have? I know that must be weird not waiting for them to reach 18mm or bigger. We are so used to doing everything the regular IVF way. I was doing this IUI and things were so different then IVF.
AFM - I did my IUI last Thursday so I am officially PUPO. I only had 2 follicles. I was hoping for more but o'well can't change that. I am to do HPT on Feb 1 and then Feb 3. So I only get a beta if I see a positive. Which is fine with me because I am tired of taking beta tests just to get a negative result.
Also still looking into a donor cycle with my sister. Talked with a new RE last week and she thinks I have PCOS and with this diagnosis they could work to get a better cycle from me. I am on the fence about doing another cycle with my eggs. Right now thinking crazy and might do a donor cycle with my sis and then at the same time doing a cycle with my eggs and transfer the best out of both. Who know, hoping that maybe I will be luck with this IUI so I don't have to worry about any more cycle.

I think I honestly might start crying. And I HATE crying. I just typed out the kind of manifesto that wins prizes--I counted--I had 30 personal notes to all of you. There were 30!!! i'm sorry that you lost so much of what you typed. however, "high implant potential" must make you HAPPY
to have fun- what happened with your embabies not making it to day 5? did they call you on day 3 & give you an update? that's what we are planning...a day 3 or day 5 if they look good on day 3. but i'm scared because that they'll say they look good on day 3 & then somehow not make it to day 5. i would be devastated. fingers crossed that you get a positive on your hpt!
miyaya- what day of stims are you on? those #s look good!

paty- i'm really sorry that your egg did not fertilize. your er will re-assess & formulate a more personalized plan for you for next time. (((hugs))) it is completely understandable that you're upset. you have been doing so much between injections, b/w, u/s, nevermind the mental preparation. please let us know what re says this week.
ashley- lots of women have gotten bfp's & had no symptoms whatsoever. if you did this the "natural" way, you wouldn't even know that you may be preggo, so you wouldn't notice any symptoms or the fact that you have none. there are also women who have had it both ways, symptoms with 1 pregnancy & none with another & they were both bfp's. every woman & every pregnancy is different. i totaly know how much the 2ww sucks, but you really can't stress yourself out...pma, pma! it's good that your boss is cutting you some slack. that definitely takes away from the stress.
afm...i took a nap. i still feel drowsy & tired. i'll be going to be early tomorrow, as i have to get up early. my students must be wondering where i've been, especially my morning class, since i was coming in late a lot last week with all the b/w & u/s appointments.

Moore~ I am on day 7 of stims. i hope this is a lucky cycle b/c I am totally feeling its effects. For some reason I am so tired and more bloated than my last cycle. And my stomach....oochie! I know I should switch and do shots in my leg but that hurts worse! The pain us women go through.
Glad you are feeling better. I was so tired the day and day after last ER.....I dread it again....especially since my son is going through terrible twos and only wants me. Its gonna be a long, whiny couple days for my husband:)

AFM- my beta is scheduled for Feb 5th. My anniversary is Feb.6 so I'm praying I will be able to give my DH the best anniversary gift ever (unfortunately over the phone) I did take a picture with my blackberry of our embabies and emailed them to him. All he could say was wow and to be able to see God's hands at work when under normal circumstances we would never see. Its amazing! We named them Frick and Frack because I used to call my two teenage sons that when they were little so my DH said to lets call them that too!

sorry I have not gotten back with you all. Have been tired lately with all the traveling this past week and feeling a little under the weather. But I had to at least send all BFP's to the ladies getting their betas this week!

AFM- my beta is scheduled for Feb 5th. My anniversary is Feb.6 so I'm praying I will be able to give my DH the best anniversary gift ever (unfortunately over the phone) I did take a picture with my blackberry of our embabies and emailed them to him. I'll have the first & last u/s tom. and then trigger tom night - weird huh? As always I'm crossed for you - have been since june -I truly hope that this is your time. I know its hard for you to be around here too much, but we miss your input when you're not here. 2 follies is good for IUI -

ashley-I had no symptoms till the day before beta when boobs felt very heavy and I had AF cramps-but so many people have NO symptoms and get a BFP!!
chris-Good luck with your IUI and that's amazing your sister may help out in the future. You are in my thoughts

AFM...I had my regular OBGYN yearly apt today which was a reality check that I have been at a fertility clinic for a year (which is so insane to think about!!) I totally broke down while speaking to my Dr. who knows my whole family and is seeing both of my SIL's who are preggers. I know it's the hormones speaking but I really want to stop crying!!!! Looking forward to Wednesday when I get the go-ahead with my ET...and hoping it's Saturday but will have to delay it a day if they want to do Sunday since I have two events planned that day!!!!

Hey everyone. Trying to catch up here on some personals. Lets see what I can do!!
Roshaunda-That would be an awsome anniversary gift! I have my fingers crossed that it is just the one you'll be giving and who cares then if it's over the phone! Frick & Frack are probably all settled in already and you'll be having TWINS!! The pics they give you are amazing. I have mine up at work and I look at them now and then and remind Rip and Cord to stick.
Esther-I can't wait for your fert report! 21 eggs is awsome and I am sure DH's swimmers were just frightened from their experience and once they were washed up and relaxed they did their thing! Fingers crossed for you! Grow embabies grow!
HMS-You do have a long wait. That's something I am curious about as we all call it the 2 week wait, but for a lot of us it really is closer to a week or a week and a half...even if it feels longer! But you have a big wait! Let us know if/when you finally POAS and what the results are...not that we don't already know its a BFP!!

Cami-I have found that this system often times you out, so when your done typing out your personals and hit submit you need to log back in. It doesn't save the info. I have also found that i can hit my back button and it will take me to what I typed before and that i can then copy everything...re log in and then paste it all. Seems to work and so far I haven't lost a thing.....Knock on wood!!

AFM-Things are going fine here. I got the call from the embryologist today that the late fertilized egg did not make it to it's day 5 so it was not froze. I am ok with that since it was a surprise anyways! The other 5 all did great and are now locked away in a deep freezer wondering what lies ahead for them. I have had very MILD tightness/cramping today and want to convince myself things didn't work out. Silly, I know. It's WAY to early to know, but the mind is a powerful thing. It probably is just from the Progestrone Gel and Blue Smurf Pill. The really good news is that I will be so busy this week that my Beta day will be here in the blink of an eye. I am scheduled to work 9 hours tomorrow, 10 on Wed and Thurs, and 12 on Friday!! Fortunately, I am just working the desk at the OR this week so its light duty with lots of sitting! Woohoo!! I do have a couple questions....1) Who plans to POAS before Beta? and 2) What medications are you all taking after ET? For the first few days I had a Climara patch on (well 3 of them), did Prometrium vaginally 3x day, and the Progestrone Longzes 3x day, plus of course prenatal vitamin and Baby Aspirin. I now have the patches off and the Prometrium stopped. So now at day 6 I do the Progestrone Gel 1x a day, the longzes 3x daily, and the Estrace tablet aka Blue Smurf Pill 2x daily plus the vitamin and ASA. Does this sound like enough support hormones?
