Hi all! Is it the weekend yet?!?
Laurie: I’m so, so sorry. This totally sucks. I hate to hear that you put the blame on yourself (when you said you had trouble carrying it). I think we, as patients, have a tendency to always think it’s something WE did. Honestly, the failure could have been on the part of the IVF staff. No-one really talks about that, but they say SOOOO many factors go into a successful cycle…including lab conditions, proficiency of embryologists, and the technique of clinicians who perform the transfers. I just hate for you to take all the blame!!
Bei: Don't beat yourself up for POAS. It sounds perfectly logical that you might have had a natural pregnancy, given that AF still hasn't arrived. Sorry to hear it was BFN---we all know how much that hurts.
to_have_fun08: How’s the 2WW treating you? It seems you have a lot going on to distract you— lawyers, contracts, testing for your sister… As much as it sounds like a whirlwind, hopefully it will keep your mind off of things!! Keep us posted on the 1st!
meganlynn: Yes, this process can be overwhelming! Hopefully, this thread can offer some support! As far as success on the first round…my first COMPLETE IVF cycle was successful. My first IVF cycle was cancelled before the retrieval (my estrogen was too high). My second IVF cycle, where I made it to retrieval and transfer, was a success. Good luck to you—hopefully you’ll get that BFP on your first round!
lou71: Well, I didn’t get the official call, but I will tomorrow. You can just cut and paste what you wrote yesterday after I post tomorrow!

How are things with you? You must be so excited about your trip---how fun!!! Oh, I have a question for you. How soon after you stopped your meds did you get AF? I’m just wondering when I should expect it after I stop meds. Sorry to hear about your ever-lasting period. That sucks!!! Nothing like a 2 week period.
Riley baby maybe: CONGRATS!!! You’re a baby mama!

Go little Viggo, go!! I hope your OHSS has subsided. I had that too when I got a BFP (was drained 3 times in one week—they sucked out 2 Liters of fluid each time---NASTY!!). Rest up and take care of yourself! Looking forward to hearing about your rising Beta today!
katie99: Frankencycle, huh?

Nothing like having your follies keep you on your toes!! Let us know how today’s u/s went. So…at this point, are you leaning toward wanting to do another IVF or are you hoping that you’ll still go through with IVM? Decisions, decisions… Either way, you’ll do great (I know this because I’ve been singing my “Mature-little-eggies” song for you!).
Molly05: Well, I’m a bit moodier on IVF meds (vs IUI meds), but everyone’s different. Hopefully, you’ll sail through with no major mood swings!
Arabsrcool: Twinges and cramping are a good sign—that sounds encouraging! So you’ll POAS on Sunday? Keep us posted if you do (you know, because I like to pry into people’s personal lives!).
Samgarkay: I got cranky/snappy during my 2WW too. It can get sooooo emotional/draining…it’s bound to happen! I’m pulling for Rip and Cord!!
beth84: Well, one nice thing about long days is that it makes the 2WW feel shorter, right? I hope you have an easier day at work today!
CamiWB: Yes, Major CamiWB, yes SIR (that’s me attempting to do some sort of military salute to your reprimanding). Tee-hee! Let us know how your trip was when you get back!
claud662: So exciting to hear that everything’s in motion for your FET!! How many will you be transferring, again?
Moorebaby and
J&C: Let us know how your transfers went today---thinking of you both!!
Miyaya: Let us know how your SnS goes today!
