Hello ladies, I hope everyone is doing well! Sorry for the MIA! Still have 2 more allergy therapy sessions to go and feel weak. but found an herbs at a tea store that helps allergy and asthma and is very excited for now. will see if it can help. About my donor, she just passed the genetic and pre-cycle screening and RE said that she's on BCP last Friday. I'm now waiting for my AF before we can proceed. Sorry for those who's BFN! Please remember it's not the right timing yet only! And it's worth to keep trying! So happy for those BFP who finally succeeds! YAY! And for those who's in 2ww, hang in there! Love you gals!

Katie: As always, thank you for the beautiful chart! So sorry for the IVM but very excited to see you're going to the next step! I see you're going to have FET from your donor. Is she from your clinic? Are you using the last cycle to try DE? Crossing fingers and feet for you this time!

Dodo -Was wondering where you've been - I've missed you! oh, I'm so happy that your donor passed all that screening, there was so much of it! But now you and DH can feel confident of her background. Thank God for small favors! Argh! I'm sorry to hear that your allergies are still acting up - you need to rest up, because you're going to be PUPO soon! I have such a good feeling about this match. It seems like it was meant to be for you and DH. No, this isnt donor egg for me, but donor embies. My Re felt that after he retreived not even 1 from me, that was good enough that donor was the next step, so the same day he told us that DE would cost around 30k - YIKES! So he sat us down, after lots of hysterical crying from me, and told us that he has 4 donated blasts from a wonderful (amazing and generous in my opinion!) couple that looks similar to us - and he wants to see me pregnant already. He gave us only overnight to decide since if we accepted that to save my lining I needed to be on PIO, estrace & crinone by the next day. So we were overwhelmed at first, but realized that this was a gift from God and the best chance we've ever had - so we said yes! He'll do my FET on thursday
I'm so excited! When will your donor start stims? it must be soon! I'm excited for you too! :D

Katie: Thank you! I'm so excited for you too. I feel this time you're meant to be with the nice couple. If there're donated embies and have a lot of similarities with you and your DH, and it just happened at the right time, it's really something meant to be. I'm glad I catch your update on time. You're in my prayer! XOXO

ronda- i'm hoping tomorrow will be a good day for you & those evil sticks will be proven wrong!

sonya- good luck on your et tomorrow. sounds like you have a wonderful selection of embabies. you'll be pupo! can't wait to hear which embabies make it back to their mama :-)

cami- good luck on your beta tomorrow! i'll be thinking of you! are you back from florida? i bet you're nice & tan...so jealous!

chris- i'm hoping tomorrow's hpt will be the one!!! fingers & toes are crossed.

tracy- can't wait to hear how many embies they get tomorrow. i'll be thinking of you!

claudia- oh hun, i'm so sorry about what happened. it's just not fair! i'm so glad that you're being as positive as you can be considering the situations. i'm glad they can put you on a different protocol & resolve this matter in just 3 weeks. that really makes me happy. of course, the fact that you get to stay on this thread is a super bonus!!!

beth- how are you hun? i hope tomorrow's beta is a good jump. i'm thinking of you. ((((HUGS))))

katie- what you got your re sounds wonderful! i know he'll appreciate it. thank you so much for your kind words. i try to be as optimistic as possible. my new motto is "if you are negative all the time, you'll miss all the positive things that are around you." it is hard to stay positive sometimes, but i sure do try. that's all you can do, right? so you're almost pupo...not too much longer!

jacqueline- glad that the ohss is finally getting better. it sounds awful. i had mild ohss my last cycle, so i can't imagine what you had to go through. happy anniversary!

lots of sticky baby dust all around ladies!

love ya,
es

Katie - I just wanted to say a huge huge good luck for tomorrow! I will be thinking of you and your DH. I caught up on your thread yesterday and nearly feel off my chair! Your RE sounds amazing and if it were me, I would have made the same decision.

I think you are amazing, keeping up with everyone, doing the tracker and coping with this horrendous IVF ride every is on I don't know how you manage it- you really deserve this and I will have everything crossed that it works for you.

To everyone else, hang in there and lots of baby dust to you all. I was the biggest 'glass half empty', 'worry guts' and negative person I know and I was pleasantly surprised. I know that with the problems me and my DH have, we will have to go through all of this again for any future pregnancies and so I have to believe that it will work again. Lots of PMA to everyone xx

Hey everyone! Wow...lots of activity going on here! How do you ladies keep up!

Katie- I'm sending a big prayer for you tomorrow! What a gift, indeed!

I had my ER yesterday. All went well but good gosh I'm sore and uncomfortable like never before. I had to get a prescript for Vicodin...and boy oh boy, that made me sick! UGH. Today I feel much better, but still very very sore. I hope this is normal. I can't image propping myself up on that table for my ET. My last ER did not make me hardly sore at all! This time they retrieved 24 eggs (I'm slightly PCOS). Waiting on fert report today to see how many were mature and how many fertilized. I'm so excited to be pregnant! wooo whooo! ET is tentative for Friday or Sunday. Beta is Feb 16th!

Positive thoughts and prayers to everyone on this board. I love sitting down and visualizing myself getting that BFP phone call! I can't wait to get it! xoxo

Hi Ladies,

I have been MIA from this board for so long I'm sure you all have forgotten all about me! I will have to take some time and catch up on all the going's on.

I'm so sorry for not checking in, but our stimulation went so badly this cycle that it was just too painful for me to read posts about lots of follicles and eggs - I hope you all understand.

We just had ER yesterday. Despite a less than 50% response from our first cycle, we managed to get 10 eggs yesterday. Although this number might seem low to you all, it was a real blessing to us. I went in with only 7 follicles - and only 6 looked to be the right size. So to hear the number 10 when I woke up was wonderful! We're just waiting on the fertilisation report today.

Thanks for your understanding and I am wishing you all the very best and lots of baby dust! I'll post responses to all your progress soon!

Good Morning, Everyone!! I am SO sorry that I have been MIA--I am just going to be completely honest that I was having a two-day pity party all my own (I spent the better part of my last two days of vacation in bed crying). That said--I think I am back in the saddle. So before I begin my tale of woe--I understand there are some MAJOR congratulations in order--Samantha, Ashley and Beth!!!!!!!!!!! HOOOORRRAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!! And Katie, oh Katie--I couldn't be more excited for you for tomorrow!!!!!!!!! You will be PUPO tomorrow!!!!!!!!! I am so ecstatic about the whole thing--I was telling my DH all about it (and despite the fact that he rolls his eyes at me about posting on the board--even he was in awe of the whole story!!!). To all the BFNs--I feel you, my friends, I really feel you and I am so sorry!!! I don't think there is really too much more to be said. Claud--I am sorry that your cycle got cancelled, but I was relieved as I continued to read on that you don't have very long to wait to try again!!!! At least there's a silver lining (pun intended!), right?! And a big fat Best of Luck to Ronda on your beta today!!!! To all the PUPO girls--hang in there!!!! Thinking sticky thoughts for all of you!!!!!!!!!!! Jacqueline--I am glad you are feeling better and I am so excited for you!!!!!!!!!!

I know I missed a bunch of you and I promise to catch up--I'm back at work and I have about a hundred emails and calls I need to return (despite the fact that this board takes absolute precedence!!). So, I am hoping you can all indulge me for just a minute and play along with my fantasy--maybe I am making this up--but is it possible to shed one embryo and have the other stick (i.e. have a period but still be pregnant?)? I was (and still am) perfectly prepared for this to be another BFN--but I am having some weird symptoms. Of course, this will all be answered in a few hours anyway--but I can't help clinging to my last few minutes of hope. Here's my situation--so Monday morning, I wake up and head to the bathroom to find I am spotting dark brown blood and cramping. I immediately commence crying (which, if I haven't mentioned this before, I HATE doing). The thing is, this spotting was a day early--my other two cycles, I started spotting the morning before my beta--and that was scheduled for Wednesday. So this spotting steadily increases to being dark red and more constant--so I give up and just know that it is over AGAIN. But the weird things are this--my boobs are still sore (which never happens with my AF) and yesterday when I blew my nose from all the crying--it bled. I just attributed this to sobbing. But then this morning--when I am basically 24 hours from any crying at all and I haven't been blowing my nose a ton or anything--my nose bled again (I have never had a nose bleed in my life). And then there's the headache--I am not really a headache person and I had that son-of-a-gun headache for four straight days. Oh, and about the boobs, so they were really huge and sore but then on Sunday that went away--so when I started spotting on Monday I knew it was over. But the boob soreness has come back--isn't that bizzare? Or do I just want it to be? Ok--so that's the end of my rant. For those who asked--I did not POAS. I was trying to make it until Tuesday when my AF traditionally starts before my beta--but since the spotting started Monday, I didn't even bother. I did have my beta this morning, so I know I will have my answer soon. I just wanted to indulge my fantasy for a little longer. Any thoughts?

Good Morning!

Katie - Tomorrow is the big day...are you ready? I am so excited for you!

Cami, Beth, Ronda & Chris - I am dying to hear all the BFPs roll in today. Please don't make us wait!!!

AFM - I didn't want to wait until tomorrow for my beta so I went in today instead. I just signed in and pretended I was supposed to be there. I overheard them talking about my appt being tomorrow, but they never said a word. Called me back, did my blood draw and took my $25! I need to get on betabase and see what the level should be. I'll be sure to update the board with my number. Have a great day!

Hi ladies!

Katie 99 – I’m so thrilled for the wonderful gift of donor embryos for you and your DH! I’m so surprised that it all happened so quickly – good thing you guys saw the opportunity and jumped on it! I’ll be praying all goes well with the FET.

Karen - You and I are right in lock-step in terms of cycle. We just had ER yesterday (Tuesday, 2nd) and we are expecting (hopefully) a 5 day transfer on Sunday. I am very, very sore today, too – but I have to manage to go to a 3 hour class tonight yuck!

DanandMe – 6 grade 2 embies sound great! I am sure you will have lots to use when it comes to the day – remember, TONS of people get preggers with less than perfect eggs.

Claudia – So sorry to hear the cycle was cancelled – that lining thing is a b****! But when it comes down to it, its best to give yourself the best chance possible with a better environment for that precious little embie.

Ashley – Congrats on the BFP – I know how it is to dread those betas and worry about m/s, but hang in there and try to imagine that your little one is here to stay!

Misocial – Waiting for AF sucks! Hang in there and trust your body to get itself back on track – I have heard that acupuncture can help if you are really looking for something to do.

Samgarkay – Congrats on your BFP! That is so wonderful - I’m hoping everything doubles for you and you see great images on the u/s!

Dodo – Congrats on your donor passing all the tests! I can imagine it is so hard to settle on a donor finally, so it is so great that you know you can keep moving forward! Best of luck.

Rileybaby- Congrats on the BFP! Come on big betas!

Cami – There is no saying for sure until you get the call! I say it’s good to have hope until you have reason not to hope anymore. Also I hear bleeding is very common and doesn’t necessarily mean anything for sure one way or the other – best of luck!

ASM - If you didn't read my last post - we just went in for ER and we got 10 eggs. I just got the fertilisation report from the nurse - Of the 10, 9 eggs were mature, and 8 fertilised! So we are very pleased with that result. So far, so good. Tomorrow they should be able to tell us if it is Day 3 or Day 5 transfer.
