Moving to a new neighborhood (board)

Post by misocial »

Ladies,

Hope this finds you all well. I just got back from RE with a new plan in hand:
Meds to make AF show now, then BCP's till stims for a ER and ET the end of March. By my count I will be on BPC for 4-5 weeks. Also increased Metformin that I already take.
I noticed someone else on the board taking Metformin, sorry I cant remember who, were you already taking it cause of type 2 diabetes and they increased you or does it have a specific purpose?
I feel slightly impowered :) with my new plan, so without furthur ado and tears, I am getting a jump on the March/April board. I am so very greatfull to everyone for the advise (you can never have enough in IVF) the support and encouragement (it means more from someone who truely understands) and the friendship. May all your dreams come true, if not today, then next cycle. :D I will drop in to see how you all are doing, come see me (for a visit) on the March/April board.
Thank you all, you have been a blessing.
Wishing BFP's for all,
Marci

Merri- So happy to hear that your little ones are growing well! I'm praying my transfer is Sunday. I am still quite sore and don't want to be touched in "that" area. hehehe I'm having quite a bit of bloating, too, so I'm downing lots of electrolyte water. I'm thinking of you, my cycle sis, and sending you lots of positive, pregnant energy! :D

Hi Ladies-sooo much going on today and all of you are getting results, blood tests, ET's, and I'm now waiting, waiting, waiting    Buty anyways....I will try and catch up on some personals before I teach tonight!!

Katie-YAHHHH for 2 embies making the thaw and starting to hatch!!!!! What are their names?!?!? Get some good rest today and I'm so happy your beta was moved up! you can keep me on the ttc with FET on the list and I will update you with the schedule once I begin my insane amount of estrogen on Monday!!!! oy-I was a crying fool the past couple of weeks and I can only imagine what TRIPLE the amount of estrogen is going to do to me!!!!! POOR DH!!

Samantha-YAHHH for your beta doubling!!! That's amazing and now it's the dreaded 2ww again!!!!

Ashley-AMAZING NUMBERS!!

karen-so glad that your eggs are all dividing and I will keep my fingers crossed that your ET will be Sunday....hope us Jersey girls don't get too much snow!!! I have a Superbowl fundraiser with my students on Sunday morning and I don't want them to drive around town if it's unsafe!!!!

Merri-congrats on your embies doing so well...best of luck

Marci-I'm so happy that you got your new schedule and it's always nice to have something to look forward to-I obsess over my calendar and I hope this different approach will grow tons of follies for you!! I see you already started a March/April thread which I will pop over soon once I get my FET date since my 2ww will be mostly in March and hoefully I can start the thread with their first BFP!!!!

Ronda-you sound so much more positive today and you have a great outlook on this whole crazy experience!!! I will keep following your journey and wish you the best of luck!

Kim-thinking of you always-and your not crashing-you belong here!!!

Franny-miss you....hope the BCP's don't make you an emotional mess like they do to me (plus make my (b)(b) bigger which I guess is a perk!!!

Chris-what's a double cycle? That is so nice that your sister is willing to donate...I hope this next cycle is YOUR time!

dodo-good luck at your Day 3 SnS!

Sonya-how is it being home? It must feel so nice after sleeping in a hotel for 3 weeks!!

hope-LOVE the graphics-they always make me smile! hope the snow doesn't hit you too hard this weekend

blessedmama-that is great numbers!! hope they all make it to Transfer day!!

AFM...two more days of BCP and then SnS Monday and I REALLY hope there are no issues going on and I get the green light to start estrogen!!! My acupuncturist is going to China for two weeks so I will probably just have one session before and after transfer....oh well-I may treat myself to a facial the week I'm off from work (President's Day week)!!!

xoxo

Hi ladies -

just a quick update... I'll be able to read more and do personals after the blizzard comes. ;) That is if I don't spend all that time CLEANING like a mad woman. 8)

Nurse called twice. First, to say go ahead with the stims! yay. Second, to tell me not to come in for my previously scheduled Sunday am appt. YAY! She said the RE said that since I'm just starting today, it's ok to wait the extra day for the 1st SnS... which is great not just because of the snow, but because I will already be up & at work before time to go in AND the only office open in the area on wknds is a longer drive for me - and is always busy! woo hoo!

is it weird to say I'm already feeling bloated ? guess not since AF started yesterday and I've been on lupie lupron for about a week... oh! and I sprayed my whole desktop with gonal-f!! I was priming the stupid pen and i thought it was on 37.5 and it must have been off a little cos it kept spraying everywhere!! that stuff has quite a smell too! strong. geez. I'm a clutz. guess that's why DH REALLY wanted to do it last time, so i don't do something stupid or worse. ;)

alrighty, 7:45 and bed is calling me already. hugs....

Katie- yah! You are PUPO!! Prayers that both of those embies stick and snuggle in real comfy with mama. I’m so glad your ET went great! Enjoy being pampered.

Marci- I will be checking on you on the March/April board, you just take care of yourself and try to remain as stress-free as possible ( as if that’s possible with IVF)

Blessedmama- great Fert report!

Ashley- Your just an HCG making machine! I’m with everyone else, sounds like multiples to me. Congratulations :D

Sam- congratulations to you too :D ! Your 2nd beta sounds great. I know you and Ashley can’t wait for the u/s

Ronda, Chris, Cami, Beth, and Franny- I’m so glad you all are all ready to jump back in this. Never give up on what you want. Nothing happens when we want it, but it does happen when it is suppose to. Love you girls and continue to stay positive

Merri- get ready to prop those feet up! You are almost PUPO!

Karen- congrats on the embie report

Es- how are you feeling?

Sorry I didn’t get to everyone, but you are in my thoughts.

AFM- the last two days have been the hardest. My DH is so sweet, I think he is more anxious than I am. With the time difference over there, I know he is going to be up all night waiting to hear my result. My beta is at 8:15 but as we all know, I won’t hear anything until the afternoon. I think that will be longest day. The other days went pretty quick, staying busy and the girls weekend made it go by pretty fast. I have been feeling quite normal, other than a few cramps every now and then. So, we will all know tomorrow. Thanks to all for your prayers. Love you girls!!

roshaunda- omg!!! are you ready for your bfp tomorrow??? i'll be thinking of you. your dh will won't care how tired he is when he gets the great news. i actually have the same report as you...don't feel any different, just some cramping here & there; i did have more prominent cramps a few days ago. i'm trying not to think about this, as if i'm not going through an ivf cycle, & we'll just see what's meant to be.

hope- glad that your sunday appointment was moved. i hate snow, never mind driving in it. just stock the fridge & get lots of good movies & make it a nice & relaxing weekend at home. yay for the green light to start stims!!! yes, dh & i had our procedures done at different locations, so we needed 2 drivers. my dh actually said that the procedure itself wasn't that bad. the worst part of it for him was the numbing with the anesthesia, but once it was numb he didn't feel much. he actually watched the whole thing...weirdo, i know, lol! it was the throbbing & the healing afterwars that he did not care for. it is still healing, as he shows me everyday like a little kids showing his mom his booboo healing. so cute!

claudia- fingers crossed that you get to start the estrogen on monday. i say go get yourself a facial...you more than deserve it! i know you're still in the waiting game, but at the end, there'll be a bfp...i just know it!

mandy- good luck on your beta tomorrow! i will be thinking about you!

katie- woohoo for being pupo! let dh take care of you & pamper your every need! no i'm going to wait it out until the beta on monday. believe me, there's a part of me that wants to, but i just know that i'd drive myself crazy with whatever the hpt results would be. i hope monday gets here soon! have you named your 2 embabies?

samantha- i'm so excited for you! that is wonderful news about your numbers more than doubling...happy valentine's day!

merri- great fert report! if et ends up being tomorrow, good luck! either way, you'll be pupo soon!

tracy- those are some kick-ass fert #s! you'll be pupo in no time. in the meantime, start thinking of names for your embabies.

franny- the 2ww has been going pretty fast until now. i think because it's getting closer to the 8th, i'm starting to think about it. i won't poas or else i'll drive myself nuts with the results. 1 more day of school tomorrow until the weekend. i have nothing going on saturday, but i do have a shopping/lunch date with my sil. can't they just put you out for this hysterscopy you're getting done! don't they know how much pain we're already going through, physically & emotionally?

ashley- holy crap! your numbers are through the roof! i could see why they don't need you to come back for another beta. the caution never goes away, does it? i've got good thoughts that everything will be great.

karen- awesome pma! if you believe, it will happen! if et ends up happening tomorrow, i wish you lots of luck. sounds like it'll be sunday though.

j & c- it's almost beta time! how are you feeling hun?

to all of you ladies who i missed, i'm thinking of all of you!

lots of sticky baby dust all around ladies!

love ya,
es

Ok - so I posted a reply in here SOMEWHERE, but I don't see it. I lost the few personals that I had. UGH!!!

katie - You are PUPO!!! Get off the computer and relax! Snuggle dust for you.

moorebaby - In my post that didn't get posted, I was asking how you were doing. I'm feeling kinda pukey, so I'm praying that it's b/c I'm pregnant and not just a side affect from the meds I'm on. I still don't think I'm going to POAS. I don't think I can take it if it's a no.

PMA to everyone!!!

Hi ladies

Could really use your help this AM - Got the call from RE and transfer is TODAY (whoohoo!). We have 1 8 cell and 1 6 cell. I am worried a bit about the fact that 2nd one is only 6 cell. Last time I got pregnant with a Day 5 blast - should I worry that one is growing slower and that we are a Day 3 transfer?

Looking for some positive stories you know of!

Thanks, Merri

merri best of luck with transfer soon you will be pupo!!! Dont worry they are looking for between 6 - 8 cells on day 3 so you are in perfect range, besides who knows by the time of transfer it could develop more cells, thats what happened on my 5th cycle. After transfer i was told that may have 1 to freeze but didnt look too good - 5 cells on day 3 at 12pm, i rang next day and they told me after i left it continued to grow and after a couple of hours was 12 cells plus one of the embies that they thought was def. no good turned around into an 8 cell. I got pg from both cycles. Relax and enjoy been waited on hand and foot by dh

Hi everyone -

Ok so semi- bed rest IS BORING! And I'm suppossed to be on it "taking it easy' til sun. Yesterday wasnt too bad because I was so tired from all of the excitement this week, but its only 11am and I'm wishing for freedom already! We didnt really name the embies, we've just been saying that we hope the beans stick - yes I know, 'gee how original!" so I guess they are "The Beans" ? I do have something original though - since I am totally jealous of you all that get embie pics, I mentioned that to my RE
who gave me our petri dish as I was leaving yesterday! HUH? So now I have a petri dish on the counter that I'm not sure what to do with - ummmm thanks DR?
OK i'll have to come back to do personals later since DH is now hovering in the doorway staring at me! back to the couch for me

Roshaunda & mandy - everything crossed for you both today! - xoxo

So I just POAS. The test expires next month and was purchased at the dollar store. There was a line, but it was white, and the rest of the box was pinkish. What in the heck does that mean???

Oh well. I didn't want to POAS and that's what I get. My beta is tomorrow. I'm a little discouraged and perplexed.
