I am at my clinic right now for my E/R. We had 2 vials from my DH previous Biopsy and they thawed the vials and didn't find any sperm. I'm freaking out. So, they are doing a fresh TESE and he's in surgery right now. So, here I am in this room all by myself, started crying and am all in a tizzy. So, the only thing I can think about doing is coming here!

I just don't know what we are going to do if they don't find any sperm in DH. I hope we can keep going and that they will at least still do my E/R and freeze the eggs. Otherwise, we've gone through all of this for nothing! AHHH!

I just can't wait to hear the results if they found sperm...

Tiger-Oh my. Slow deep breaths, just try to stay calm. I can only imagine how stressful today is for you. Hopefully they get what they need from dh and the rest will go smoothly. Fingers crossed and prayers coming your way!

j & c- woohoo....you got a bfp!!! i'm so happy for you! 18 is great....your re had you come in early. even though you said that they were close to blasts when they did the fet, fet's can be late implanters. i think that is a great start!

tiger- did they have dh do a fresh ejaculate before they started his procedure? the same thing happened with my dh. we had a fresh ejaculate specimen frozen from this past july. for some reason they didn't want to thaw it & had dh do a fresh specimen & then did his tesa. in his tesa, they found nothing, but they were able to get sperm from his fresh ejaculate that he did that day. i'm praying that everything goes right & you'll be able to continue with this cycle.

sonya- great news about your frozen embabies! that's a good idea to test out the trigger shot. so are you back home? how was your trip?

lots of sticky baby dust all around ladies!

love ya,
es

Tiger -oh, honey please dont go into a panic. They WILL find some!
I feel so bad that you have this much stress today of all days, but your RE will do everything they can to get some swimmers! I was on a previous thread with a girl whose DH was paralyzed and they had a hard time getting sperm, I think they only got 7-10 - but that was enough and she is pregnant right now! Have faith! they dont need as many as you'd think
prayers for you both!

Cheeky -Oh, how much I've missed you my friend! I'm so glad that you're back! I hope that you had a wonderful long family visit and feel ready and refreshed! :D Yes, this was 1 week ago today to hear that my ovaries are useless and then to be offered this greatest gift on the same day was kind of over whelming - but WOW! Thanks for the PMA - I'm trying really hard not to freak out - but if this doesnt take - well then I dont know, because the cost of donor eggs is scary here! And I cant imagine that my RE has any other donated embies just sitting around in storage waiting for a couple to go to. Gee- not to add more sress or anything, right?

J&C -I believe that a positive is a positve! And that test wasnt reacting right from when it came out of the box! Who cares if was 10 minutes later? YAY!!!! for a positive! ooohh, hurry phone! ring ring!

Kim -I can go either way (bean #1 and #2 ) or the beans - but what in the world am I suppossed to do with their petri dish? its still sitting on my counter right now!

Dodo -As always you have all my PMA and prayers - GOOD LUCK at your baseline! And crossed to start right away! Stay away allergies!

Es -I'm wishing you much patience for the last stretch, its so hard to get through the last days - PMA PMA PMA PMA :D

Sonya -Congrats on 4 snowbabies!! :D We're on the exact schedule - I'm also 2dp5dt today - although I wonder if since one of them was hatching at ET, is it closer to a 6dt? I'm beta on the 12th also - just 6 days to go! GOOD LUCK to us both! But I'm not planning to POAS - those sticks have never given me the answer I want my whole life, so I'm sort of afraid of them now

Karen -Good luck to you tomorrow - you'll be PUPO!! :D

Kelly -I was heartbroken for you in Nov/ Dec. I have thought and wondered of you often. Thanks for popping over to check up on us. I'm glad to hear that you ended up going to your f/u appt - but of course its a lot to take in. I heard the same news a weeks ago today ( now of course I'm alot older than you, but news like that at 29 is heart wrenching!) I 've always held onto hope for you that your DH needs time to get things sorted out in his heart and his head. I really want to believe that he will come to realize how deeply this affects you and will come around. I am still hoping that this is just his defensive mechanism, and will keep you both in my prayers. I do hope that you will attain your dream of motherhood maybe just via a slightly different route. Please feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk. Hugs & prayers to you & DH - xoxo

AFM -I'm still trying SO hard to not analyze every little twinge, cramp, heavy feeling - I know most of these are from the progesterone
So today & tomorrow still on couch duty - ugh enough of that already!
I'm just desperately refusing to allow the "what ifs" to sneak into my thoughts - Is fun, yes? lots of love to you all - xoxo

Awwww hon..... don't freak out... there's nothing you can do about this except keep a positive outlook and focus on what you have to be grateful for. I know that's really hard to do, but it's better than the alternative, and just feeling so scared and powerless. I am sending mountains of positive energy and will be looking for a good and happy update.

Hi Katie; We're VERY close - I'm 3dpt5dt, but our betas are on the same day! We're officially cycle buddies... nervous much?

I have no signs except today I was reading a friend's blog (she had 3 embryos transferred - one VERY poor quality) and is pregnant with... yeah... you are reading this right... QUADS.

Anyhow.. I was reading her blog, she's 14.5 weeks along.. and I just burst into tears. Sigh. I think it's just that I really don't feel my embies took and I'm really feeling the drain of the entire thing..

J&C- congratulations!!! :D we both go get b/w on monday.

Es- you are next!! How are you hanging?

Katie- just put two beans in the petri dish!! since that what you call them :D :D

Tiger- you are in my prayers that everything worked out just fine

DandMe- please do not think negative. I had no symptoms, other than those of the progesterone. PMA, PMA, PMA. You too Katie!!

Ashley, Sam, Jacqueline- how are you feeling?

AFM- I finally talked to my DH this morning :D I just said "Happy Anniversary Daddy" I can hear him smiling through the phone. :D :D :D

I have talked to him 3 times this morning and he is just soooooo excited. He couldn't wait to call his mom and his sisters. So we called them and they just screamed at the top of their lungs through the phone. I let him tell them. All they could say was my brother or my son is having his first baby :D :D

My SIL fussed at me for like two seconds for keeping this a secret for so long, but they were so happy.

I can't wait to hear some more positive post on here!! Bring it on ladies

XOXO

roshaunda- omg! i got so teary-eyed reading about how you told dh & how excited your family is. i'm truly so happy for you! i'm doing ok. i'm trying to be positive. i don't know about my symptoms. if i have what i think is a symptom, i don't want to read too much into it. i just scrubbed my entire kitchen...counters, floors, everything! i'm just trying to get time to go by. have a huge pile of laundry waiting for me! according to katie's chart on what happens every day post transfer, hcg was just started to be produced yesterday, so i guess my symptoms wouldn't necessarily be around already.

kim- thanks for checking in! i hope monday gets here soon!

katie- i'm trying to be patient. i still can't believe i've made it so far without going insane, lol!. how are you feeling? how's bed rest treating ya?

tiger- how did everything turn out? i really hope everything turned out great! i'm thinking of you.

lots of sticky baby dust all around ladies!

love ya,

Tiger – I’m hoping and praying for you guys that you will find some spermies in there and you can move forward! I hope your hubbie recovers well and keep us updated.

J&C – Anything over 5 right? Keep up the positive thinking – you never know, it might jump way up high.

Katie – I’m right there with you with the ‘what ifs!’ I keep telling myself there is no reason not to be completely hopeful right now and try to stick with that thought!

Dandme – The stress and tired of it all feeling is awful. You’ll know more soon – you still have a great chance. Lots of people don’t feel any symptoms. Try to go out and do something nice for yourself – pedicure? Movie date?

Moorebaby – Hang in there, try not to think about symptoms and just think about hearing those words ‘Congratulations, you’re pregnant!’

Msmac – Congrats on the happy news and your very happy family time! You’re an inspiration to us all!

ASM - Just a quick update for you ladies. We are officially snowed in! Luckily our embryos called for a 3 day transfer on Friday so we were able to get in and out before travel became impossible. We transferred 2 perfect little 8 cell Grade 1 (Whooohoo) embryos.

DH and I are very excited. We are feeling very positive about this time, and I'm really trying to hold on to this feeling the next few weeks. Our beta is on 2/19 - my birthday!
