Ack! I give up! My brain is stuck on a continual loop of " Did it work this time?" and the other "Dont get excited it probably didnt work" In other words trapped in CrazyTown! Are we sure its not friday yet?
I am so happy to be off bed rest though! Yay freedom! of course now the dogs want to wrestle, yank me, pull me all over - Sorry pups thats just not happening. So now that DH went back to work today and works long hours, I'll have to do my own PIO shots for the next few days - I havent done those myself for a long time - that should be some fun later, yes?

Es -I'm cramping up from having everything crossed for you!
How will we all last until later? Hope they dont call too late!

J&C -I've got everything crossed for your doubling, tripling beta today! UGH the waiting game never ends! I'm hoping that your new business has kept you too busy to even visit CrazyTown!

Lou -So J&C and myself both remembered to have Chinese food for dinner the night of ET..... was wondering if you're back yet? Your baseline is so soon!

Dodo -You have such a kind soul and a giving heart. We are blessed to have you as a friend. Your post choked me up. I didnt realize that you had such an experience with your Nov cycle. How awful to try and manipulate you & your DH after the cycle had already begun! I think this is the girl for you - I remember when you first found her how excited you were and it sounds like you both really clicked. I have such a good strong feeling about this time! Everything crossed for you! :D

Lauren -Yes, how scary is the cost of a donor egg! I mean wow!
A SnS stands for Stick and Stir - ultrasound (u/s) and bloodwork (b/w) I think it was J&C who came up with calling it a stick and stir! hee heee - you've got got to keep laughing through this process, its the only way to get through it  How are doing with stims?

Hope -Yiipppee for a day off! I'm hoping that all your follies are growing slowly and consistantly! You'll feel better after your u/s. its scary to stim with out info! Oh, no I heard on the news that you're getting more snow! And sending some up my way too?

Bei -Hi! No symptoms really, just trying to get to friday already! How are you doing?

Roshaunda -thanks! It makes me more hopeful to hear that you had no symptoms either! Not that I'm allowing myself to read into every little twinge  When is your next appt? UGH now you've got the waiting game until the u/s! Does it never end?

Franny -I've been looking for the exit to CrazyTown! But its like some big maze! 2 steps forward then 3 steps back! Ooohhh, I like that dream!! ALOT!!! :D Now if it will just come true.... aww honey, sick? I hope that you're feeling better - yay winter weather? - xoxoxo

Gi -Whhoo Hooo ! stims tomorrow!!! I want this so bad for you I'll be watching your cycle like a hawk!!! I cant wait til you call your old cliinc to tell them BFP on the first try at a better clinic!

Karen -yay PUPO!!! Hope it went smooth! Now back in bed you go!

Claudia -Last but never least! How are you honey? You've been quiet, are you just busy? I think your job can keep you hopping at times
Waiting to hear how your appt goes! - xoxo

lots of love to you all - xoxo

Dandme - Yep, you might be PG. If the line is still showing up at day 10. I have seen ladies before get positives this early and be PG. The embies start to implant 1 or 2 days after a 5dt so their should be some amount of HCG in your system if one or 2 took.

Lauren - I have seen DE cycles cost around $25,000. There are a bunch of fees added on. Donor fee, agency fee, fees at the clinic for coordination. The cost of the IVF cycle, testing, plus if the donor is from out of town you have to pay for all travel expenses. It is not cheap what so ever. This is part of the reason I am going to try with my sister even though she is 39. I don't have to give her donor fee and I am not going through and agency. Trying to work with the clinic to minimize the other fees. Its just crazy the stuff you have to do.

dodo - Sorry you went through so much last cycle. I can understand not wanting to postpone the cycle but I would have been really tempted. If you don't mind me asking, how did the cycle go. Did you get a lot of eggs? Just kind of feeling things out because I might have to go to anonymous donor at some point. I am also looking at a donor egg bank. That way I don't have to worry about all that donor crap but won't get as many eggs.

Good Luck to all those with BETA's this week.

Dandme,
I am guessing Congrats are in order.....you are PREGNANT!. Sounds like a positive to me, too late to still be from trigger shot. Hurray!

Franny,
This is going to be your last try at a BFP also?

Hope,
I am glad you will have DH's company to SNS. Sounds like you guys got hammered with snow.

Lisa,
I am so sorry. I hope you and DH get this worked thru, however you need to and move on in your journey to parenthood!

Karen,
HURRAY for ET tomorrow. Good luck!

J&C,
Praying for doubling #'s! What time is your appt?

dodo,
WOW I had no idea DE were so expensive. I really wish I could donate (too old) because I would for free. I checked at my clinic but was told no one would want my old eggs!(in a nice way of course) Thanks for the PMA, I am going to need it.

afm of course my f/u appt is tomorrow and they are calling for a winter storm (its ironic, everytime I have an appt, its either snowing like crazy or icy). Maybe someone is trying to tell me "enough already?" Well I am excited and scared to talk to RE, I am sure he remember the freebie, but its still scary.

Sonya -ACK! I see you're trying to drive yourself with those darn sticks! Honey, you have to put them down! You know its just too early.
I know, its torturous! I will applaud your bravery though! As tempting as POAS is - they can drive women crazy. Hang in there, fridays coming! :D

DandMe - If ur trigger is gone, which it should be by now, any line is a good sign. If ur like me, I'd be testing again just about daily until I start seeing darkening lines... but that's me I'm an admitted POAS addict. Let it at least keep up your PMA and hang in there!!

Moorebaby - waiting to hear your good news today! Hope Turtle is right and it's your 600 beta of which she dreamed!!! beta dust!!

Lauren - S&S is "Stick & Stir" one of the girls (sorry, I can't recall who) came up with the phrase as a substitute for bloodwork & ultrasound. so Wednesday is your first, grow follies grow!!!

dodo - your donor story is heart-breaking. it just makes me ill to think of greedy people feeding off people dealing with infertility to pad their bank accounts. I mean, I understand compensation... they are giving up their eggs and time, after all, but going back and asking for more, and trying to boost it up during the process is just wrong. I pray that more couples will offer their frosties up for adoption if they are not going to use them... this is such a beautiful gift of life and I pray that more are adopted rather than used for research (... just my two cents.. I can't personally stomach the research aspect).

rlk1 - how are you doing, friend? Snowed in?! :) I totally agree with you on the "no kids in the office policy" - it was hard enough to see a couple who had obviously just gotten a bfp - all kissy and huggy - the day I got the news of my missed m/c... :( i would NEVER take my child into the office... it's just so inconsiderate and just plain mean, i think. :(

more later... gotta run...

Lisa - I'm so sorry hon. I'm just sending you a big hug from over the electronic waves! You and your DH will move forward when the time is right for you.

Katie - Patience, patience. It's still early yet - don't get too worried about the future because literally there is NOTHING you can do to influence it and worrying doesn't do anything but drive you nuts!

DandMe - I know you got a negative a few days ago, but it's still so close the trigger shot, and a false negative testing a leftover trigger hormone is not unexpected. I'd wait at least til 10 days post transfer (were you 3 or 5 day?) before you trust any results.

Karen - How did it all go? I hope you had a great transfer and are looking at a good number of babysicles!

ASM -- I did bed rest for about 2.5 days after the transfer. Today I'm up and around again. I was v. sick of bed rest so I am glad to be up and about. I'm planning on taking lots of breaks with my feet up though. I know it is SO early - but I'm a bit worried because I haven't felt any cramping. The only time I was pregnant after a transfer I had a lot of cramping, so I am worried this a bad sign - but then again, the first time was my very first IVF so maybe it was just my body's initial reaction to the progesterone? I need to take my own advice about worrying :-)

One quick story - DH gave my belly a quick kiss the other night and said 'Hello babies!' and it was so super cute and I loved seeing him so happy for once through all this :P

Just one quick note to Dodo - That story about your donor was so upsetting, but it might be that you don't know the whole story on this donor - maybe she really, really needs to money. Perhaps she has a sick child or parent or was laid off or something - I totally agree it is completely crappy what you guys had to go through with the donor, but even kind people sometimes have bad situations - just a thought maybe! Best of luck - Merri

Ronda-Hope your RE appt goes well. I am sure he remembers what he said, but if he needs any help remembering, send him my way...HEHE! Really, best of luck for your appointment.

Katie-Crazytown S-U-C-K-S! Hang in there, girl. Friday will be here before you know it. Don't worry, be happy! Thats your motto for the week. It worked, your PUPO and really just PREGNANT! I can't imagine how you could receive the gift you did and it not work. These hormones though don't help the process at all, my poor dh just looks at me sometimes and asks, "are you in there?" LOL

Franny-Glad to hear that things are going well for you. You seem to have bounced back as well as one can from this process and I can't wait for you last 2ww as it will be a BFP!!

Sonya-Starting to seem like a BFP to me. I tested at 4dp5dt and got a BFN and the very next day came my faint positive. Honestly, when doing some reading at least on the Ovidrel only 1/2 of the hcG is passed through the urine and the amounts are so slight that after only a couple days I should have tested clear of any hcG. Now, I didn't test it out so I don't know for sure, but just a thought. Maybe even the first positive was a positive! I didn't really have any symptoms either except incredible sore (o)(o). My lines were really, really faint at first. In fact, they didn't really darken until 9dp5dt. That was the first day that I was like WOW this is happening! Hang in there girl, beta day is just around the corner.

J&C-Throwing lots of beta doubling dust your way. Let us know, I can't wait to hear your numbers!!

Moorebaby-Fingers and toes crossed for another BFP for this board and more importantly for you! Keep us posted!

Dodo-Your story was very heartbreaking to read, but I am so happy for you that this time you seem to have found a good match. It's a sign that this is your time!

Jacqueline, Ashley, Roshaunda-How are all you girls feeling??

AFM-Just counting down the days to my first U/S. It is next Monday but right now feels forever away. I am feeling ok for the most part. My (o)(o) hurt like heck and at night when I have been in one position for awhile and go to turn they hurt so bad I can cry. I am starting to get some nausea. Not all the time but some definate bouts, this morning was pretty bad. Nothing is worse than dry heaves as I had nothing to toss up. TMI I know. Anyways, I wouldn't trade the pregnancy for the world, but man a cure for morning sickness would be GREAT. I'd pay huge bucks for it!

moorebaby - I am SOOOOO praying for your BFP today!!!

AFM - I just got the call from RE himself. My beta only went up 1 number. On Saturday it was 18, and today it was 19. He wants to do another blood test on Wednesday to see if it either goes up or down. I'm not very hopeful now. I know there is still some hope, but I'm very sad that it's going to be negative on Wedesday. :(

I don't have time for personals right now, I am leaving for transfer soon. But......I wanted to resond to a couple things.

Sonya~Knowing your bodies tendency to hang onto the trigger (wasn't it like 12 days last IUI?). I would try to be cautiously opptomistic!! Having said that, I would test again in two days and see if the line is darker or lighter. I think then you will have your answer. Praying this is it for you!!!

J&C~I am sorry hon! Thinking of you!

Tiger~I am so, so sorry! I cannot believe they didn't have you have a back-up option just in case. Hang in there. Do whatever you need to to feel better right now. We are here if you need us.

To everyone else~I promise I will get to you. I have just been crazy busy trying to get ready for being on bed rest. Work, Laundry, house cleaning, child care for my LO, etc, etc.............But when I am stuck in my bed, you better believe you will here from me!!

J&C-I am so sorry about your beta today. I don't know how all you brave ladies handle all this come back and retest business! I'd be out of my mind. I can see why things don't look good now, but you have lots of prayers and crossed body parts coming your way!

So....here I am posting again! I'm like an annoying relative you can't get rid of!

DandMe: You could definitely be preggo! I tested positive that early (5dp5dt) when I cycled two years ago. I was preggo with twins (sadly, I lost one at 10.5 weeks), so maybe you have TWO embabies that implanted!

Katie: FOUR MORE DAYS UNTIL YOUR BETA!!! OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! BTW, what did you end up doing with that petri dish?

J&C: Ugh. Sounds like your Beta didn't want to cooperate. I'm not giving up on you (nor should you!), though. It's still possible that your Beta will climb on Wednesday. I'm thinking of you.

Hope: Yep, snowed in. How about you? Did you have your SnS today or is it tomorrow? I hope the roads are better soon for your next appt! I wonder what people who had ERs or ETs this weekend did? Do you think their cycles were cancelled? That would TOTALLY suck!! Oh, and I hope it didn't come across like I scolding you not to bring kids to the waiting room! I didn't mean to do that at all! I just meant that I know how hard it is to find sitters for little ones when you don't have family in town---given that we all know how appropriate their no-kids policy is!

Moorebaby: I'm on pins and needles waiting for your results. I REALLY hope you get good news today!!

J&C - Hey I know what you are going through with the beta's -- I was on every other day betas for two weeks for my last (and only so far) pregnancy. It did not work out for me - I m/s at 8.5 wks, BUT

My beta's weren't climbing much - not doubling, and and then one day WHAM I almost tripled -- so don't lose all hope just yet. By the end of the week, you should know more. Hang in there, HCG production is a great sign!
