Hi everyone. So ET was great. We transferred two embies...both 5BB...which RE said is excellent. They were starting to hatch....which makes me feel good. They can't implant if they don't hatch! I'm so thrilled. We were for sure in the PGD study test group. We had 9 day 5 embies yesterday when they did the PGD...and 3 were choromosomally normal...so we have one left to freeze! But I"m not planning on needing it since I'm going to be pregnant! I'm sitting here chanting, "I am pregnant...I am pregnant". hehehe. And visualizing the little suckers implanting. My beta is one week from tomorrow. Can't wait to get that "Your Pregnant" call! woo whoo! So I'm laying in bed all day! Big hug to everyone!

Hi Ladies,

I just got the call from the nurse that my SnS went well and I was given the go-ahead to start estrace, vagifem, AND the vivelle patch!! OY...the estrogen will be pumping through me!!!! I go in again Friday to check my lining and e2 numbers and then they will probably up my dosage :P Trying to be cautiously optimistic and keeping fingers crossed that I make it to my FET this time!

Es-thinking of you all day....I am REALLY hoping we get good news with your BFP!!

J&C-sorry hon that you didn't get your doubling numbers. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Katie-CRAZYTOWN is the worst!!! Don't let those negative thoughts drift in there!!! Only a couple days away and hopefully the days fly by!!! My work has been pretty hectic plus I didn't want to jinx anything before I got the call today with the go-ahead so I'm sure I will be posting like crazy now that I'm officially on my schedule!!!!

Franny-sorry you were sick  Hope you feel better and I'm following you over on the March/Arpil thread-THIS WILL BE YOUR TIME!!!!

Karen-hope your ET goes well today!!! Can't wait to hear how many survived to day 6!! What exactly is the study you were in? sounds interesting!!!! Get ready for the big snow on Wednesday....woops-just saw your post!!! YAH for almost hatching!!!!

Kim-love when you crash our thread but you are always welcome!!!!

sonya-that sounds like a BFP line to me!! I am hoping that it gets darker each day and you get a huge beta number on Friday!!!

Lisa-I'M SO SORRY HON!!! My heart broke when I read your post and I hope once you get passed the anger and sadness you and your DH continue this journey-even if it means taking another path.

blessedmama-GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR TRANSFER!! Can't wait to hear how it went.

Samantha-sorry to hear about the sore (b) (b)!!! Hope the nasua goes away (I did hear that there is a pill for morning sickness)

Merri-glad to hear there is no more bedrest!!! My clinic says to keep it light activity so I can imagine it would get boring to be stuck to the couch!!! Try and stay out of CRAZYTOWN with Katie!!!

xoxo

J&C i'm really sorry about the low beta - How heartbreaking and the wait is truly agony, isn't it....

Blessed Mama... I talked to the RE about the last cycle and because I only had 5000 IU of hcg he thought it was most likely a chemical pregnancy.

I'm really trying to not read into it, to be honest, I am well aware that this really could be a trigger. But would it still be as dark if not darker?

These tests are all totally unedited..... I've put away the 'hope' for now and am just curious! Am I the only one who thinks the last test is darker?

I am TOTALLY prepared to eat my socks - because I know that this could still be the trigger - so no worries about hurting my feelings or tip-toeing around.... I'm a big girl now! LOL

J&C - I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have the big jump in beta #s. :( But like the girls are saying, don't give up! You could have a giant surge next time. Keeping you in my prayers.

Moorebaby - where are you?!! It's 2:45 and we are ready to hear the good news!!! PMA PMA PMA!!!

BlessedMama - YAY! Next time you post, you'll be PUPO!! Image Hope all goes well today!

rlk1 - no worries, i didn't think you were chastising me ;) I just firmly agree. It's one thing to have to see babies all over the rest of the world, they just don't belong in the RE's office. :) no worries at all, hon. sorry you're snowed in. :( My DH said that the roads are TERRIBLE. I don't know if I will have work tomorrow, but I'm teleworking for sure if we do!! Hope you have a job that you don't have to drive tomorrow, especially since we're expecting 4-10 more inches tomorrow night!

Merri - you're right... ;) follow your own advice and quit worrying! ;) Easier said than done, right? Love the story about your DH talking to the babies. Mine has done that every time too, it's so sweet. :) Mine calls ours "critters" - which cracks me up because it sounds like such a Jed Clampett Image thing to say, and he's just so not anywhere close to being country, it's funny. It is wonderful to see their involvement and to see that little bit of joy in this whole crazy process. Sending you lots of baby dust, dear!!

Sam - you are getting hit hard with the PREGGO symptoms, aren't you!?! Poor thing! I had awful MNN-sickness (morning, noon & night) - it is SO not fun. Wish there was a fix for it... but the good news is that it WILL end and the result will be SO worth it!! ;) hang in there.

Karen - congratulations! you're pupo too!! Image now sit back, relax and let the little beanies do their thing! I LOVE your PMA!!! Keep it up!!!

Claud - glad to hear the S&S went well today and you're ready to pile on the drugs! Keep up the PMA! you WILL make it to FET!!! Your frosties are waiting patiently! Hang in there.

DandMe - You are not crazy. I cannot even see the first ones, but I can definitely see the last one. Don't make yourself nuts with tests, tho... :) and you probably shouldn't take any advice from me... I'm Image

AFM - So made it out to my S&S this morning, DH drove me in the snowmobile. ;) RE said all looks good. My largest follies are 13mm now and my e2 is 567. Since we're expecting another snowfall tomorrow night into Wednesday, they've asked me to go ahead & come back for another S&S tomorrow and then we'll move to Thursday for the next. Keeping my dosages the same. I don't feel very much.. not like i remembered feeling in the past... i guess it is still early tho.

DandMe- please stop worrying!!Those sticks are going to drive you into CrazyTown.

Karen- conratulations on a successful transfer. You are PUPO now!!

Claud- yeah for great news!! You are headed for your FET now!!

J&C- don't give up yet sweetie. They are asking you to come back in for a reason, they haven't given up on you. Prayers that it was a late implanter and those numbers just shock you next time. I'm with Merri, that things can change in an instant with IVF

Katie- you only have 4 more days. Don't drive yourself crazy yet. The beans will do that when they get older. :D

Merri- how are you feeling? Im sure you are glad the bedrest is over. It makes time go so slow

Franny- I hope you get to feeling better soon. Being sick sucks

Sam- speaking of being sick, I hope your m/s doesn't get any worse. When did it start?

Ashley, Jacqueline- how are you ladies feeling?

AFM- just got the call about my 2nd beta numbers. My nurse said they at least wanted them to be a 1000 and they were over 1200  They have scheduled my u/s for the 19th. The waiting game begins again, but it is all worth it. Still no symptoms other than sleepy and sore breast

Es- still waiting to hear

XOXO to everyone

moorebaby I can't imagine what you and DH are going through. At least you have some answers, but I know that dealing with donors is a cruel twist that is so difficult to overcome. I reallly do hope for the best for you. i'm so sorry...

Hello ladies, I hope everyone is doing well. I'm on YAZ BCP now. dunno if anyone heard of this. I saw many commercials on YAZ for treating PMDD. Until RE gave a pack of YAZ sample to my donor, I then found out YAZ is also BCP as well. When RE gave me a pack of YAZ on Saturday, I am alert that there're many side effects from google. I see patients taking this led to ovarian cyst and IVF cycle cancelled. I also read patients taking this led to lining changed and chemical pregnancy. I was so worried last night when I found out these from google because DH worried that our donor will go back to her country if ER waited for too long. I then emailed the coordinator about this to see RE is aware of this. But at the same time, I found out somehow my emotion is corrected and my allergy is under control after taking YAZ. My acupuncturist told me because the allergy is coming from emotional blockage. I saw a doc a year ago and he prescribed me PMDD supplement but it didn't help me. Somehow my PMDD was cured when I attended the allergy acupuncture session until there's one session that I screwed up by myself. And the allergy symptoms and PMDD came back plus out of control even with corticosteroid medicine. SInce i have YAZ on saturday, I started to feel symptoms under control on Sunday morning and up until now. The clinic coordinator also called me this morning to tell me that RE allowed me to use another BCP if I want. I decided to stay on it to treat my symptoms first instead of worrying if my cycle will be cancelled or the donor will go back to her country. But it's a roller coaster for me in the past 2 months. Everything is out of control mind and body wise. I'm so amazed to see everything is under control now. My question is I don't know if the 21 days of YAZ will make me feel better after that. I'm crossing fingers that it will.

Hope644: Thank you! I agree that if a lot of couples are in need of donated embies. It's more important to give to them first so as everyone can start a family!

Merri_Baby_Dust: please do not worry! i know people don't have symptoms at all after ET and got pregnant. Congrats to your tripled beta! Thanks for your concern about my last donor! Unfortunately, she is a healthy young single women who is majored in marketing at the college in Vegas and is going for her master degree. She threatened to terminate the contract with us if we didn't agree.

samgarkay: sorry for the pain! Does RE let you take tylenol?

karen: Congrats and crossing fingers for you! Did RE say why your embies is 5BB grade and still need assisted hatching? I'm wondering. My last cycle had one 2AB grade and one morulas transferred with assisted hatching? I thought good grades don't need to do it.

claud662: Glad to hear you can start estrace! YAY!

DandMe: I can see a darker line on day 12! CONGRATS TO BFP! YAY!

dodo.. no congrats for me yet until I get a GOOD line... these still might be the triggers....

And I'm glad you are finding out important information... I'm really wanting things to go perfectly with your donor... it sounds so promising so far. Where is she from? I would be nervous, too! Just take it a day at a time - so far it's all falling into place....

Karen - heres that list you wanted

3 Day Transfer:

1dpt... Embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt... Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt... Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt... Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt... Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt... Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt... Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt... HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

5 Day Transfer (if your transfer is done on the 6th day please adjust according to the timeline based upon how the embryo was doing by 1-2 days {e.g. blastocyst was hatching from the shell}):

-1dpt... Embryo is growing and developing
0dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
1dpt... Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2dpt... Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3dpt... Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4dpt... Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
5dpt... Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
6dpt... Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
7dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8dpt... More HCG is produced as fetus develops

msmac those betas are awesome!!! I would give anything to be in your shoes instead of still waiting and wondering.. don't worry about me going crazy with the tests - it's how I pass the time. I realize I could get a STARK BFN at this point and still be pregnant. I am surprised that it is darker, but I'm not sending out shouts of joy by a long shot.

Yay for ultrasound... Can't wait to hear how things are progressing.. .
