Katie- Thanks for the info!
dodo- I'm not sure when they did AH. And I'm almost certain I remember my RE saying they do it to most embies to help them along. Doesn't really matter to me as long as they hatch! Implant, my little babies!

And I'm glad you are finding out important information... I'm really wanting things to go perfectly with your donor... it sounds so promising so far. Where is she from? I would be nervous, too! Just take it a day at a time - so far it's all falling into place....
Please do not worry! a fade line is better than no line. Thank you! my donor is from Asia and she will go back there end of June.

Hi Ladies! Well I am back from my transfer we transfered one "perfect" blast according to the RE and one early blast. He didn't offer grading and I didn't ask. Honestly, it would just give me something else to obsess about. Everything went really well, except for the extreme need to pee. DH was hilarious singing a little song about please embies implant, but preferibally only one and no splitting aloud. My acupuncturist came to the house this afternoon and did a treatment. I am feeling really good and positive. Talking to our little babies. We have been referring to them as Hans and Frans. Long story, but it always makes me smile. My beta will be 2/17!

Sonya~Knowing that last time was a chemical I would say this is very possibly a positive test. Yay! And yes, the line on the last one is darker than the first two. In fact, the middle one I don't see a line at all.

Karen~Yay for a wonderful transfer and a great PMA! Keep it up.

Hope~That is wonderful you had a great SNS. I hope DH is able to take you again tomorrow. It would be crazy to have that much snow.

Claud~So glad it looks like your cycle is a go! When I am allowed out of bed I will do the grow lining grow dance. Have you tried acupuncture?

MsMac~CONGRATULATIONS! That is so wonderful and too cute that he was so excited he wanted to call his family.

Samantha~I am sorry the preggo symptoms are being so hard on you, but glad you have them none the less. Can't wait for your U/S

Franny~Sorry you are sick. That stinks.

Roshanda~Can't wait to hear how your appt with the RE goes. Yay for Freebies!

MooreBaby~I am so, so incredibly sorry for your BFN. I was really hoping this was it for you. Sending you big hugs!

Dodo~I am sorry for the way your first donor acted. I am so glad you found this new girl. She sounds perfect. I am also happy the Yaz is helping out your other medical issues.

Katie~Visting crazy town is ok! We have all done it at one point or another. :D I am sure I will visit there shortly.

I know I missed some, but I think I did ok for how far behind I am.

I will try to keep up. At least while I am on bedrest.

BlessedMama - congrats on the wonderful ET!! It is not fun having to go pee - plus, knowing you can't just makes it worse, doesn't it?! And then the irrational, but unmistakable fear that you're gonna lose them when you finally get to go!... well, for me, anyway... I know they aren't coming out, but I can't help feeling an extra little squeeze trying to hold them in.. silly, i know. anyway, stick, Hans & Frans, stick!! - sorry, DH, I'm hoping for 2 anyway... ;)

off to bedy-bye for me... and it's only 7:45pm. why am i so tired? work is open tomorrow, but i will be teleworking before/after my S&S. Finally starting to feel something "going on" down there... starting to feel a little on the full side. :D

nighty-nite.

I forgot to mention ---

rlk1 - I actually asked my RE today about how they managed with the weather over the weekend. She said they had all the staff stay in hotels in Rockville and all the patients found hotel rooms as well. They did 18 retrievals yesterday (Sunday) alone! I guess it's true, they find a way to get the job done!!

I had read a book, long before we started IVF that included a segment about how they were conducting ERs in NYC on 9/11 even through the midst of chaos, confusion, and possible death... amazing.

Looking ahead at the weather report for next week, we think we need to look into possible options for hotels in Rockville, just to be on the safe side. They are saying snow showers again on Monday... and my ER may be Tuesday.

Hello ladies, just dropping by to peek in and leave some info on Metformin that I posted over on March/April board. Hope this finds you all well. Sorry to see all the BFN's but very happy for the BFP. Much love my friends.

Here is what I have foud out about Metformin:
Oxford Journal...blah...blah....blah
CONCLUSION: Short-term co-treatment with metformin for patients with PCOS undergoing IVF/ICSI cycles does not improve the response to stimulation but significantly improves the pregnancy outcome and reduces the risk of OHSS.
Appeartly it has uses in PCOS... I have also read about it being used for weight loss.
Meanwhile back at the farm..... nausea and diarrhea continue, supposedly it should only last a week.HA!!!!!! I bought gatoraide today cause I am getting dehydrated already. Maybe AF waiting is not such a bad thing. This too shall pass. LOL

moorebaby - I am so sorry. I know how devastating it is when it's negative. Take time to soak it in. What's your next step?

AFM - Thank you to everyone for the kind words. I feel like I'm in a daze right now just trying to get through Wednesday. I have a relaxing dinner scheduled tomorrow night with a friend, so I'm looking forward to that. I'm praying for a jump in #'s, but we'll see what happens.

Hi ladies. Lots going on here.

J&C~ Hang in there toots. I know things seem bleak but things have a funny way of turning around unexpectedly. There is still hope. Though I can only imagine how you feel. The journey is never easy!

Moore~ Ugh, so sorry hun on the results. Man, this board is having some tough luck! Good luck in whatever decision you make moving forward. Take time.

BlessedMama~ PUPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yippie!

Katie~ So glad to hear you have broken free! I can hardly wait to see the results. I think this wait is hard for all of us on the board....we are aall anxiously awaiting to hear what happens with you and wishing you such goodluck!

Danandme~ I think things are looking good! :)

AFM~ not much going on. 6 more days til beta. To be honest, the wait is nto even killing me this time. I have a gut we will be cycling again. Right now I am just trying to figure out whether to change clinics or not. Something with my cycles just does not feel right. I know I am not a doctor but I feel like they are getting it wrong with the egg quality thing....I mean, I just had a baby 2 years ago...on clomid no less....first cycle I felt they chickend out and should not have triggered me so soon, last cycle I think they cooked me too long....ahhhhhhhhhh....why is this not an exact science! Anyways, I am ok with whatever the outcome...DH and I have talked and will do one more cycle then proceed to adopt if needed. We love kids and it makes no difference to us if they are genetic or not. i will say though beta on monday is a great day...DH and I have the day off! So I will either be celebrating or getting my drink on! Ha ha! Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning everyone -

I didnt post last night because I'm trying to not infect you all with the 2ww crazies! I dont know what to think anymore. I feel nothing, zip, zero, nada
Now I know to try to keep up my PMA, but this wait is reminding me of Sept's wait
( 2 "perfect embies tx, few days of crampy twinges then nothing) and that was bfn. Yes, I know each time is different - but God, I'd feel so much better if I felt something, anything at all! Just to make this a more interesting morning, now my boobs are sore - but on the underside, in other words - like how they get right before my period -ugh
Well so much for not losing my PMA, huh? Please let me make it to friday without losing my mind!

J&C -I'm praying that your hcg is just off to a slow start and that tom's test will just take off! I can imagine the stress you're feeling right now -try to hold on til tomorrow - BIG HUG

Franny - Whew, girl you arent kidding! You'd be a millionaire ten times over if you were a fertility pyschic! Oooh, could you imagine?

Chris -I'm excited for your double cycle idea! Its great to have you getting excited for it too. I think you've got a great shot this time. how much legal paper do you have to wade through? And, hmmm - a donor egg bank? is that like egg adoption? Yep, i'm trying to clloect all the info I can, just in case

Ronda -No, silly! Always having snowy or icy driving conditions on clinic appt days is just a part of winter cycling! - Good luck today, I cant wait to hear how it goes!

Merri -Awww, your DH sounds so sweet talking to your embies :D

Sonya It looks darker to me! :D you're a brave woman!

Samantha -Oh, your DH really does think he's a funny man huh?
OK, then funny man - you just wait til the big time pg hormones really kick in! he he

Tracy -YAY PUPO!! and now back to resting...

Kim -No way! I love when you're around - we miss you! the petri dish is sitting on a chair under the table ( so it wont mock me when I walk past it a thousand times a day) If this works, I guess I'll keep it? Yep, that was easily the strangest thing I've ever been given!

Karen - YAY PUPO!! Your PMA is contagious! Keep it coming!

Claudia -Yippee! And now let the estrogen fest begin! now you're banned from any sad movies, books, or sappy tv commercials

Roshaunda -Whhooo Hooo! for a great 2nd beta!! How are you feeling Mama?

Dodo -I hope that your allergies will stay under control! They bother you so much! Who knew that a med for PMDD would help you're allergies? :D

Hope -How are you feeling, hon? ER next week already! I loved your story on how your RE dealt with the snow storms. I mean if you think about it, what a position they are in! - once they start stimming someone snow, flood, tornado cant get in the way of ER - I'll bet the nurses loved that though! ugh and here comes more snow!

Miyaya -I know the feeling, hon - all too well. WHY cant his be simpler to work? And you've really got along beta - try to hang in there!

Es -I hope today you know that we are all still thinking of you.
Take a break to heal, and we will all be here for you when you're ready - xoxo
