Katie: So happy to see your post again! Glad to hear your DH and you are all so happy and mushy together! Forget to say both you and your DH deserve everything! I wonder if you will go to the March/April thread. Hopefully, someone like you in that thread can be as technical and creative like you and be able to devote herself like you to update the chart for us.

OK - so it's 1:00 am and I don't know what to do.

Up until tonight I have still been very nauseous and extremely hungry all the time.

Then.....right before I went to bed I went to the bathroom. When I peed I looked down and there it was....blood. So not even just a little blood when I wiped. That was at about 10:30 pm. I just got up to go to the bathroom and now there is a good amount of blood, as much as a reasonably heavy period and I feel like I might be feeling cramps.

I am definitely going to call the RE in the morning but my nurse already told me earlier this week that the earliest they can bring me in for a u/s is this next Friday. Should I push for an earlier appointment? I feel like if I am miscarrying and bleeding a lot, they would be able to tell if everything is gone. I may go in the morning and at least have a beta done to see if my HCG levels are low.

God, I just don't know why this is happening. My betas were so high and I really had finally gotten to the point where I felt like this was really going to happen.

Ashley, I have been bleeding for more than 2 weeks, but usually not very heavy. If doing a U/S sooner will make you feel better, you should go for it. Good luck and hope you feel better!

Ashley: if the bleeding is heavy, i think you might want to go to the nearest hospital ER now to check everything. So as to let you feel better. Anxiety can impact on the babies! GL to everything! XOXO

i got my embryo transfer done on 5th feb now my result is on 18th feb god knows what willl happen it is my third cycle. my first cycle was BFN 2nd BFP but premature birth in 5th month now it is 3rd cycle......

Just a quick update. I went to the bathroom around 2:00 am and (sorry if this sounds gross) when I sat down I heard a little plop. When I stood up to wipe there was a quarter sized clot in the bottom of the toilet. At that point I freaked out even more and all I had was tampons so used one. When I woke up around 4:00 and took the tampon out there was no blood and I haven't had any bleeding since (it's 8:00 am here now). I know that was probably way too much information but I thought I would share in case anyone else has had a similar experience.

I have a call out to the weekend nurse. My gut is that I probably miscarried one of the two embryos. With my past miscarriages, if I was fully miscarrying, I would bleed for several days like having AF.

I am going to try to convince the nurse to let me come in this weekend or Monday for an u/s just to see what they see. I know they are going to push back because it is so early but I really think that it would make me feel a little better. At this point I have no expectations and just want to know what is going on.

Ashley; There is no such thing as too much information when you are looking for support and answers. As soon as I noted your hcg levels I thought the same thing - lost a twin..... although, you might have had a small pocket of blood that hasn't harmed your pregnancy at all. I would go to emerg and INSIST on an ultrasound. They can also check your cervix. ((hugs)) keep your hopes up - positive energy is the one thing you CAN do to help your baby. I am hoping that since the bleeding has stopped that everything is just fine. We'll be waiting for your results.

katie - OMG you are pregnant!!! congratulations! i am so happy for you & DH.... you so deserve this, you will be great parents! i have been telling your story to DH and he could not wait to hear your beta results yesterday (he texted me 5 times asking if you knew yet) so i told him at dinner last night and he was so happy for you & DH that he high-fived me in the middle of the restaurant. i swear you could get a movie made out of your story.

ashley - sweetie i am so glad the bleeding stopped. there are hundreds of reasons women bleed during pregnancy, there is a board in the "pregnant with treatment" section about stories of bleeding fears that all have ended well. i would say - go to the ER - they'll u/s & check that your cervix is closed and that's the only way you can get re-assured that everything is ok. the stress & anxiety are not good for you right now, i can't imagine having to wait til friday to know. i'll be thinking of you & DH.

Merri ha as i read your message i am watching the Ire V France!! its half time and noting looking good I am from Carlow about an hours drive from Dublin (with no traffic!!) my clinics in Dublin. Hey you wont need those frosties you will get your BFP!!! I have to admit it gets scary the 2nd wk of 2ww as you know this is it!!

I really hope its lucky number 7 for me too i am already talking to my follies and asking them for good quality eggs ...hmm i must be going mad I have to smile at the thought of your dh, it is a shock when you 1st find out cause you try prepare yourself for a negative. On a diff note my poor westie has a very bad skin infection and j left him into the vet, he had to have his skin shaved (ouch)and 10 stitches j rang me and said if we have kids he wont be able to handle them been sick as he is in tears over the dog!!! I cant wait to see you Finally join the October Mommies... you are gonna have a Halloween baby!!!!


Ashley i think you should go to the Er too, i know there is nothing they can do for you but you need piece of mind you cant wait till friday or it will do your head in. My thoughts and prayers are with you that you have a little fighter in there. How far are you? I went for early scan after spotting at 6 wks and we saw the little bean xxx

Sorry i have missed loads of ye hope all is well. AFM on day 4 of stims and feel my ovaries "tingling" hope its a good sign!!! Just wanted to also mention my Mam sends her best wishes to everyone on this site, she also reads the boards cause she wants to know exactly what we are all going thro. mentally, emotionally so she knows how i am feeling. She was the one who texted me last nite to say Katie was pregnant and she said she was so tempted to send in her own messages only ye would prob think she was a mad one, think its because its also my 7th try and gives us hope!!!

I am so aggravated today! Been doing shots since 2/6 (Saturday). So I have done 7 nights of Gonal F 450 and Menupur 150. Plus this new estrogen pill starting last night. E2 was only 292!!! Nurse said to do three more nights of shots and come in Tues for B/US. She said the RE told her to give me a warning that they may have to cancel the cycle if numbers don't rise. I asked if they want to raise med dose and she said no...he feels they are high enough. Also no follicles are larger than 12mm. Biggest one is 11mm. So annoying!!!!!

Hi everyone -

Well the first thought for me this morning was "did that really happen?"
So I said I would POAS and for the first time ever 2 lines!
But my point was today is 9dp5dt, and this was on a FRER (thought that was suppossed to be the best kind?) Now if these sticks are said to pick up just 25units of HCG, you would think that since my beta yesterday was 65 - it stands to reason that today this line would be dark, right?
Ummm, no, not so much. And I'm reminded of Jacqueline's story
POAS on the day before her beta and a neg HPT, yet her positive beta showed a 97! I'm just hoping that before the next wave of you go POAS mad - you wont take this sticks too much to heart. Hope I can figure out how to post this thing!

Now I still have THE petri dish on a chair in the kitchen..... what a weird souveneir! I guess I'll keep it... but I sure dont know know what to do with it! I guess stick it in a memory box?
Oh, and does anyone remember "lazy nurse"? the one who left my clinic and I realized I missed her? She sent me an email last night because "new nurse" told her that it finally worked for me! I was so touched by that!
Or maybe the were just relieved to finally put my chart away? hee heee

Gi - You've got to stop making me cry like that! I'm sure that this is lucky #7 for you!! Now that they've got your b/w all sorted out! Awww your poor pup! We've been through the skin scrapes to figure out my dog's recurrant skin infections too, I cant bear the face they give you when they realize where they're going. Awww poor J for having to see them put stitches in! they are like kids to us too, both my pups have my DH wrapped around their paws! Did you ever figure out the pill giving problem? I gave up trying to hide the antibiotics in food, now I just shove them in and then give them treats to make up for it. Day 4 of stims and feeling tingly is good! Hoping you grow lots & lots of foliies! When is your next appt? You had me all choked up when you said that your Mam texted you about my beta! That was the sweetest thing! much love xoxoxo

AFM-not too much new...I am definitely starting to feel the effects of all the estrogen but I'm not going to complain because I'm going to get the thickest lining yet this cycle!!

Lauren - I'm sorry your body is being stubborn, I hope the estrogen pill helps things speed up. It's frustrating! You still have a lot of time to grow follies .... I think I stimmed for 12 days and then triggered on the 13th. How was your E2 last time?

just have a minute but basically I know its over for me. I am bleeding a ton and expelling a lot of tissue and clots. I stopped my progesterone and letting nature takes its course. I am ok with it. I was prepared. I will enjoy a nice glass of wine tonight and look towards future cycles. I think DH and I have decided to put our last IVF on hold a tad bit....maybe til late summer/fall. I think we will go back to a few injectible cycles and see if we get lucky. I feel like I need to give my body a rest. This ER was really painful for me....I still feel like my ovaries will explode.

I will peek in from time to time to see how everyone's cycle turns out. I sure hope this board ends with a BANG of BFP's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love ya ladies!
