Miyaya; I am so very sorry for things working out this way, but your strength and acceptance are amazing and I admire you greatly for that. I know my own BFP is tenious to some degree and I will lean on strength like yours to get me through if things don't work out. I hope you keep in touch and let us know how your medicated cycles are going. It might be just the thing you need. I am so sorry - I know it hurts. :( :(

hello ladies, Good Day! I just want to say that the reason i like this forum is because besides offer support to others in need, you have PMA on your own. I guess I'm 44 and don't have much PMA and everything when I read the thread, ladies turn around quickly from NMA to PMA. I just don't know how to switch that quick. I guess age really plays an important role. But you really made my day!

Ashley: Glad the bleeding stop! Keep us update about your u/s!

Lauren: Sorry, I had the same experience as you when my lining was not thick enough and got cancelled. I hope that they won't cancelled yours! Have you tried or are you using estrogen patches? I know a few patients whose lining didn't grow when using estrace or delestrogen and switch to estrogen patches and it worked. They are the same hormones but I don't know why. In my case, after changing to patches, my lining does fine. GL to your cycle!

shikha goel: Sorry to hear your last 2 cycles! I wish the 3rd one works out fine. BTW, do you mind to tell me what happens to the 2nd cycle? I mean the baby?

Katie: I guess I will remember your first beta as well. I's born in the year of 65!

Hi ladies - thanks for all the support. My bleeding never started back up again and other than being bored in bed all day, I am feeling fine. I have still been nauseous and very hungry - having to eat something every 2 hours which is NOT normal for me.

I also talked to the nurse this morning and she said that if my bleeding did start back up or I had any pain, they would bring me in tomorrow (Sunday) for an u/s. She told me to stay off my feet the rest of the weekend and just take it easy.

Because of the fact that the bleeding abrubtly stopped after I passed the clot (in total it only lasted about 3-4 hours), I am thinking that everything is OK. I think that the worst case scenario is that I may have miscarried one of the two embryos which would be disappointing but OK if one of them makes it. I decided not to go to the ER since things have been good all day today.

I'll do more personals later - I've been sleeping on and off since I only got about 4 hours last night.

I just wanted to do one personal -

Miyaya - I am so sorry this is happening to you. I have had three miscarriages after having my DS and I know how much it hurts. On one hand you probably feel so blessed to have the child that you do but it doesn't make the loss from IVF any better. I hope that the time off will help heal the wounds and you can try again.

Dodo. No, I have never done estrogen patches. I am not sure how thick the lining is supposed to get but today mine was 6. My E2 on Wednesday (first u/s was only73). This time 292. I hope the numbers go up. I was looking in my notebook and last IVF my E2 was 591 after 7 nights of shots so I hope I catch up! What is a normal number? You girls know so much!!! Last cycle my E2 was 1094 the day before my trigger shot which was after 12 shots and I got 12 eggs. I just don't want to wait another month to try again!

On another note, did anyone read this weeks people about how Celine Dion is on IVF #5? she had her DS on try #1, then 3 failed cycles. I think 1miscarriage. She was saying how draining it is and how "her veins are weak". Please she probably has the equipment at home and the b/us ppl come to her lol. And I bet she doesn't have to get up at 6AM to beat traffic and get to her job ontime lol. But seriously, it just goes to show that no matter how rich and/or famous you are, you still have problems that money can't solve. And like someone said in an earlier post, someone always has something that another person envies them for. Ok, gotta run and jab myself in belly with high doses of meds that do not effect me. Thanks everyone for the thoughts!

:( It's my turn now. Warning TMI... I am 5 weeks 4 days today and over the last two days I'd still been passing the remenants of the Estrace which I no longer use vaginally. It had been tinged with some dark brown old blood. I wasn't to concerned about it, but found it weird that I still had so much Estrace up there. Today was going fine and was relaxing on the couch when I got real damp. Went to the bathroom and there it was my panties were bright red. I wiped and a lot of the Estrace/brown blood came out, but also a small clot. I hadn't felt any cramps or anything but now I feel slightly crampy. I am so upset. I have called the REs office to see if they can get me in tomorrow but haven't heard anything yet. Please God I wish they'd hurry and call. I wasn't suspected of having twins so for me that's not a possibilty. U

samgarkay - my heart just dropped out of my chest when I read your post.. .please.. don't think the worst.. I can't tell you how many women I've seen in my two years of being on these forums have had nasty bleeds and still had healthy babies. No, it's not great sign, but it's not always as bad as we think. My sister had two full blown 'periods' with both of her pregnancies - she didnt even think she was pregnant with the first one because of it, and thought she'd miscarried with the second.
Both her kids are perfectly fine. Bedrest and liquids are the best for you now - and keep your PMA as much as possible. ((hugs)) I know how worried you must be - we're all pulling for you!

Nice, lazy Saturday, for the most part. I awoke to my closest friend from college calling me at 9:30am 'cause she was "cleaning and bored." At least it wasn't 4:30am Easter morning like the situation I was dreaming about when she called! I've been having some WEIRD dreams since I sarted on my IVF meds.

My husband is one of 14 children, and has four sisters and a brother that live in the same town as us (they all live within a 5-10 minute radius-it's great!) Anyway, he has a nephew who's 23 or so who just got here from Honduras, and we took him shopping today for shoes. We did this 2 years ago when his little brother came here when he was 19. It's weird to me that they don't have shoes when they get here. They were both so excited that he wanted to take them shopping. I love to see people happy.

Other than that, I go in for b/w and u/s tomorrow. I hope it's time for ER, but only if everything's ready to go.

Katie: Praying that your second beta is a wonderful number! As for my ET, if it's Tues, that will be day 12. Is that really fast compared to others? I'm feeling fine, which has me a little worried 'cause everyone keeps asking me how I'm feeling. And, I know other women have said they feel really uncomfortable during this time. Maybe I'm used to feeling uncomfortable? Except for the random stomach pains and the sharp pain the other day, I've been relatively fine. (I'll shut-up now so I don't jinx myself.)

gi: You're from Ireland, huh? Born and raised there? You can laugh at me if you want, but ever since I saw Circle of Friends way back when, I've been in love with Maeve Binchy's novels. I used to buy one every summer and winter and pass my time gettting lost in your country. I haven't done that for a few years now but have one of her books on my shelf that I haven't touched. I'm tempted to start reading it will all this free time I have. I hope this round of IVF works for you. Your ET is about a week away, right?

miyaya: Words cannot express how you must feel right now. I am so sorry for what you are going through. Be good to yourself this weekend. You've been through alot; you deserve it.

Ashely: I'm so glad your bleeding stopped! You, too, should take it easy this weekend!

Many of your responses to my DH (Ivin) having to be gone for up to 1 1/2 years are similar to ones I've gotten in the past. I have to admit, I had no idea what we would have to go through (immigration wise) before I met him. By time I realized all that would have to be done, I was already in love and engaged. You can't change who you fall in love with, and I just try to make the best of it. I honestly try not to think about what is going to happen this summer. We'll get through it, and be stronger because of it (I hope) in the end. I have heard that couples that have to go through IVF are stronger afterwards than their counterparts that do not need infertility treatments. I just hope since we're going through a double-whammy, that that will make us that much stronger and grateful for each other when we are back together. You know, people in my daily world don't understand most of my life right now. Between the IVF and dealing with immigration issues, I am very isolated. But, PMA! Right? Oh, sentimental hormones!

I think it's over before it even really started. The cramps are getting heavier and the bleeding heavier. I am now passing multipule large clots. Sorry TMI, I know. I am just so sad. Mostly for my dh as he has been so wonderful and sweet. I hate this.

Well, I decided to go to the ER. I figured they'd do an U/S and beta and on Monday we could compare. It's 11:38pm here and they just finished the U/S. Still bleeding heavily and passing big clots, nut the tech who did the U/S found the sac and fetal pole. They seem to be stable and not moving so far. Who knows? Still waiting for beta to be drawn and a Rhogam shot as I am RH negative. Since I have bleeding they give it now instead of at 28 weeks. They just drew my blood and am waiting for a pelvic....yuck! This whole thing SUCKS!
