Hello ladies, I took a while before I finally get into this page. How nice to read everyone's post again!

Samantha: So Sorry for the miscarriage! I know it's not easy to deal with. You're in my thought!

afm, I will keep it short. It's after midnight. I went to urgent care on 2/14 and had blood drawn of 5 vials to check my body functions because I's still very nervous and the nerve at my back hurts. About the alternative medicine, the allergy elimination technique in addition with acupuncture and some strange vials and getting some tools to hit my back, I don't feel improvement but weak or remain the same. DH google and found the NAET, the allergy elimination technique, has many hoax and scam reviews website. The tehnician quoted herself as 'Doctor' didn't take any blame and didn't answer my calls in emergency. After seeing her on Monday to find out that my mineral mix and magnesium particularly are cleared, I decide to quit. I'd rather wait for my body to rebuild itself and prepare for ET than relying on the NAET lady to do something on my body and make me weaker. Time to go to bed!

Hi ladies - my goodness, this board must be like a drug because I didn't realize how addicted I was until it was gone for a few days.

Just a quick update because I am getting ready for work. I have not had any bleeding since Friday night which is a huge relief. Also, I talked to my nurse Monday and after talking through what happened she said they wanted to move my ultrasound up a few days just to see what is going on. She still seemed hesitant but I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. So I go in today at 11:45 EST to find out what the state of affairs is. I feel like if there is a heartbeat or beats we should be able to see them at this point. I'm trying not to get my hopes too high just in case the news isn't good. But I have continued to battle nausea and extreme hunger all week so hopefully those are good signs.

I'll be sure to post as soon as I possible can this afternoon.

AFM~ well I had another beta...it only went up from 25 to 32. I have continued to bleed....I have to have levels re-drawn on Thursday. I am hoping they are down to zero so I can move on soon. To top it off, I got the flu yesterday. I was in bed all day. Total bummer b/c DH and I had the day off....we were going to go into the city to shop, have lunch and just reconnect...its not often we can do that these days. So that was disappointing.

Well, I just got into work. Gonna be a busy day considering we had Mon and Tues off....have a great day ladies.

Hey ladies. Yeah! We're back online!!! I've got good news! I'm pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first beta was yesterday and it was 71. Second beta is tomrrow! wooo whooo! Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG! I missed you guys so much! 3 days?! without this place? I kept checking to see if it was back yet - over & over!
Can you say totally addicted! So my second beta was 153, I was a little upset but the RE said that its a 77% increase and they're very happy with it. They booked my first u/s for tues 2/23 so I'm excited but that will only be 5w3d so I dont know what he will see, I think just a sac and hopefully a blob inside it. Then I'll go back in another week or two to hopefully see the HB. This is weird though, they told me to bring the contact info of the OB I want to use, before seeing the HB? HUH?
Tee Hee -I know my RE is in a big hurry to get rid of me - but Jeez!


Samantha -Oh, honey I am so sorry. I cant imagine having to go through that, and on Vday no less. My heart is breaking for you. Take some time to heal. Big Giant Hugs to you

Lou -An antagonist protocol is known to yeild fewer eggs, but its also known to have higher quality eggs also. And thats way more important, and yes those smaller ones can definitely catch up - you're only on day 5? You've got lots of time left. X'd for your follies to grow, grow, grow!

HopeHow did your ER go? Hoping to hear about lots of healthy eggies! Hope it went alright for your DH too!

Sarah -I'm crossed for nice big healthy follies for you! Yes, I did HCG luteal support with both ETs with my eggs before
but I had to do 1st shot the day after ER and then a shot every third day for a total of 4 injections. its a good thing, it means that your RE is being overly cautious - 2 more days!!!!

AshleyOh, thank God for that! I was really worried about you! I cant wait to hear how your u/s goes today!

Sonya Hooray for a great 2nd beta! You must be so excited!

Karen,Hurray for your Pregnancy!! You are Pregnant!! If I remember correctly, you had PMA the whole time and it paid off. Congrats!

Glad to hear your #'s are moving up. RE doesn't want to get rid of you, he just wants your pregnancy to keep progressing and get you a baby in your arms! The OB is the next step to do that.

How goes things???? I go for my Sns on Friday and looking into Wed/Thurs next week for ET. My DH has been so sweet, he has so much PMA about this upcoming cycle. Which is good, because I have zip. I had such hopes last time and I think I am just trying to prepare myself (I know already) that this will be a BFN. so I am going to work on my PMA!

Katie- Great to see your numbers moving along. You have nothing to worry about! I did keep up my PMA and pregnancy chanting. So the day before my beta I was sooo tired and had to lay down for a quick nap. During my nap I started to feel like AF was coming. I mean, full on AF cramps. I started to feel sad. I decided that I wanted to know if AF could be coming, so I looked in the "bag of TTC stuff" I have and checked to see if there was a HPT. And there we one. I looked at it for a long time...saying "you'll be pregnant"...but I also was thinking do you really want to do this b/c in the back of my mind I was thinking of all the previous negative ones! So I decided to just do it. I peed in a cup and dipped the stick in...and just kept saying, I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant...and when the 2nd line started to come up pretty quickly...I literally screamed OMG! I scared the hell out of our 15 year old Border Collie. hehehehe I just kept saying, OMG, OMG, OMG! It was a very surreal moment! I immediately went to the drugstore to get a different brand to double check. I did three tests...all positive!

I'm sending everyone my PMA. Positive thinking really does make a big difference. It's like the law of attraction!

Sounds great Katie, I'd like to share the journey and I'msure some of our bfn girls will be bfp sooner rather than later. Are you getting more betas? I am considering asking for one more set, although my doctor was really pleased with my last set.

Lauren -- Thanks for the response. Apparently I always have 3 or 4 that just "take off" and leave the rest behind . I had another u/s today, still with 4 bigger ones and about 10 smaller ones. It doesn't look like there's much hope for the small ones to catch up. The biggies are growing at 2-3 mm per day. So they will be ready for retrieval soon unless they slow down.<sigh>

Karen -- Whoo hoo for the BFP! Congrats!!!

Katie -- Glad your second beta was good. Yeah, I've heard that the antagonist protocol yields fewer eggs too, but when RE told me he was going to use it, he said "hopefully this will get us a few more eggs"and I had 6 last time. I didn't have a quality issue I don't think. I ended up with 3 high quality 8 cell embies at day 3. Two were transferred and one was frozen as a blast. So I was puzzled by his comment. I like your idea for a "due in Winter" board, I hope I can be on it!

AFM -- OK, need some advice ladies. I'm on day 5 of stims and on u/s today I had 2x 14mm, 2 x 12 mm, 2 x 7mm, and 8 <5mm. I didn't see RE, just a nurse who told me that anything can happen but I will likely only have the 4 eggs. I'm crushed. I will be starting the Ganirelix this evening. I'm doing a shared risk program so the cycle is paid for. But should I cancel it and try again to hopefully have a better yield and not use my paid for cycle on this go? If cancelled, I will have to pay for the ultrasounds, blood work, and a $500 cancellation fee (not to mention the expensive wasted follistim!). This will cost me approx $2,500. And who's to say I will have more eggs if I go again anyway? I don't know what to do. What do you guys think?
