Lou i had my 1st scan on monday (day 6) had 13 follies ranging from 5.5 to 11mm, today day 8 have now 18 follies ranging from 7mm to 14mm so they can catch up and you can get more. My new ones mightened catch up in time but the other are all now measuring around the same, you are still very early things can change so easily.

Well ladies bad news for me.....The embryos didn't make it to transfer. Now here we are saving for another round I feel like a failure, and that it will take FOREVER to save up for this. Hopefully it will come sooner rather then later. Thanks for all the wonderful support and I will continue to stalk this group.

Katie!!! The other side of the boards have been slow, but all is going well with me. I am 23.5 weeks and the twins are very active now. (Actually, I suspect it is the boy causing more trouble than the girl, based on antics during ultrasounds, so....he may end up being a handful, lol.) I really am thrilled for you! I hope you are feeling okay and haven't been too sick. The hardest waits for me were the ones at the beginning, waiting to see the heartbeat, waiting another two weeks to check again, etc. It's hard when you go from the full-time ivf monitoring and end up as a "normal" person, but it gets easier!

Lou - I happened to catch a glimpse of your post earlier on what to do with only 4 eggs, to cancel or not. My last cycle, I had a dominant follie and was a poor responder because they reduced my meds a lot from the first time since I responded so fast (clearly, after this we learned I make eggs in a week, reducing the meds only means less eggs, oh well). The other follies straightened out, but I only had 6 total (including the teeny ones) and the clinic was pushing to cancel. It was all out of pocket for us, but we flipped a coin to decide what to do. We went to retrieval anyway (with the doctors clearly saying there may not be any good eggs out of the follies) and decided that if it didn't yield anything, we would do an FET of our two frosties from the first cycle (I know not everyone is in that position). Four eggs, four fertilized, transferred three, due with twins in June. Original two frosties still waiting for later. Anyway, do what seems right to you and don't let the clinic push you into a decision. I think if it had been our first cycle, we would have listened to them more, but having been through this before, we decided we were going to go for it . After taking all those meds and the follistim and the waiting, we were just ready to take a chance. (Plus, literally, we did flip a coin and the coin said to go for it!) Good luck no matter what you decide!!!

Lou-I would definitely continue this cycle because as many women have previously stated, many of those follies will catch up and you things can change day to day. The day before my ER they told me they saw 17 and I got 25 eggs that all fertilized!!! So just try not to stress and keep up the PMA!

Bethany-so sorry that the eggs didn't make it to transfer. Hugs to you and DH.

AFM...went in this morning for my day 12 SnS and my lining was a 6.3. I am cautiously happy but know that ANYTHING can happen with my damn lining!! I am staying on estrogen (tons of it) until Monday when I get my next SnS and if all looks good I start my POI and I am hoping my transfer will be next Thursday or Friday!!! Keep throwing that thickening lining my way cause I'm hoping to get an 8mm this cycle!!!!

Katie: Congrats on the new beta number.
Lou: I just read some info on low follicule number because I myself only have 3. The dr told me continue, ER will be on Sunday. Anyway, the article said that the % of suceesful IVF (implantation and birth) was the same for people with 3 or less follicule compare to the people with an average of 7. The Artice was also stipulating that it is always adviced to continue with the cycle instead of cancelling it. The quality of the follicule is more important than the number. We only need 1 good one ( well in my case I need 2..hoping for twins)...
Sarita: Good luck with the immigration, I have been through that before to get my green card and it is hard because the immigration people are not the nicest, polite or understand people in the country...But it will work out...Before we only had to pay $1000 penalty and we were able to stay without having to go to our home country but I guess it changed...IVF will make your couple stringer but also lng distance will as well. I was 2 years appart with my husband (we were only dating at that time) and it worked out, it made so stronger...Enjoy vacations in Honduras, I heard beaches are beautiful and great for diving...

Well my updates: I went to Sns, I am at day 10 and I only have 2 follicule of 15-15 and 13. My E2 is at 419 so it is not great but the DR told me they are good quality so he wants me to continue... I should do ER on Sunday...I go back for checkup tomorrow...and friday as well.
I am in the middle of job interview and I hope it will fit between my ER and ET, I dont want to reschedule a job interview, it will not look good.. well lets hope for the best
Ohh BTW, I have been looking for the meaning of PMA and dnt find the info anywhere... can anyone let me know... Well Sorry I know I forgot a lot of people, I am thinking to all of you....

Wow! Being without you girls for a couple of days was like the 2ww! So glad we are back.

Sam- I am so sorry sweetie, I know you must feel devastated but you are a strong women and you and DH will both get through this together. Take all the time you need to heal and we will be waiting for you to come back with open arms.

Sorry I know I am missing so many of you!

ASM -- The day after tomorrow is our beta pregnancy test (the 19th). I am so nervous and feeling very very up and down. I've been v. crampy and I passed a some brown spotting a few days ago, which I am hoping is just old implantation blood working its way down and out. Other than that - just really tired and boob are sore. But of course who knows - this could be all POI, too. I feeling optimistic though because of the cramps. Wish me luck on Friday ladies!

MerriBabyDust- I'm sending my PMA your way for your pregnancy beta! I have a feeling you are preggo. My boobs were slightly sore on and off at the beginning of the PIO shots. But about 4 days before my beta my boobs got progressively more sore. And the day before my beta I got alot of pulling/cramping that I thought for sure was AF on the way. I know everyone/every pregnancy is different. But your symptoms sound promising! Just lay down and visualize your little embie(s) implanting and just say thank you for this healthy baby! I also visualized getting my positive beta call. It made me feel excited and promoted PMA!!!

Sonya- my beta was 14dpo (8dp6dt). My RE said it should be between 50-100...so I felt relieved to get a 71! Tomorrow I'm using my PMA to get a 150! So excited!
