Sarah Good luck with your ET tomorrow. Sorry to hear about your husband's friend. Also, one good embryo is all it takes!

Positive Thinking 5 eggs is good because they are probably good quality! I hate needles too! Especially IV's. I ask a million questions and I think I am the worst patient of the day when I go in lol.

Lou I still am holding out that those little follies will have eggs. But even with 6 it's still a good number.

Claud I hope you get some more growth in your lining. I didn't even know anything about the lining needing to be a certain thickness until I started reading this board.

Merri it seems we are always waiting for something. Waiting for AF to come, to go, waiting for follicles to grow, then the 2ww. But at least your wait is the one we are all waiting to be on lol.

Katie good luck tomorrow. Your dogs sound huge! I have a Chihuahua so no problem with baths.

AFM I am waiting for the fertilization report today. Hoping I have some freezable so I don't have to do this again!

Thank you for all the well wishes and words of encouragement the last few days. I know I've been quite pessimistic (which is not like me at all.) I am going to be as happy and as relaxed as I can be over the next two weeks, for me and my embie. I need to enjoy my time before I go back to work on the 8th!

I had my ET today at 9:30am. It went well. They gave us a photo of our embie, of course. It is 7-celled (they like 6-8 cells on day 3) and average. My RE said women have gotten pregnant with one embie in worse shape than mine, so we'll see! We were able to watch the catheter going into my uterus and the embie being left in there by the lining; it was so surreal. I didn't cry, but I felt like I should have?

I'm hanging out on the couch for the rest of the day. My RE only wants me off the couch to pee. I've got drinks and food next to me, and my laptop within reach. And plenty of HGTV to keep me entertained.

Hope: I know you're in your 2ww now. I hope it is going well for you. Are you home during this time or going back to work?

positivethinking: I hope your 5 eggs are doing well. I can't wait to hear how they're doing. It's funny; I'm a nurse but I hate needles and especially IVs. I was making faces the whole time they were putting my IV in and getting it hooked up. Then, when they put the medicine in it, it burned really bad. I started crying and throwing my arm around...they probably thought I was crazy!

Katie: You have an ultrasound on Tuesday already? I'm interested to hear what they see! Praying it's all good!

Lou: Going one more day for stims won't be bad. I ended up going one extra day, and I don't even want to think what my outcome would have been if we hadn't gone that extra day.

Gi: ER's already done! Woo hoo for 11 eggs! Can't wait to hear how they're doing!

Merri_Baby_Dust: I hope they call soon to tell you when your u/s is! Not knowing my betas would drive me nuts, but you have to do what makes you feel the best. I hope it works for you!

Lauren: Good luck with your ET on Wednesday! Can't wait to hear your fert report, although with 15 eggs I think you'll have a great report! Since I was with my friend Saturday, she had to give me my shots at 5:30pm. Well, she didn't realize that my shots were due at 5:30pm, and she committed us to going out for dinner with ALL of her boyfriend's family. We got to the restaurant and she downed a beer really quick 'cause she was really nervous. We went into the bathroom into the biggest stall, and she gave me my shots. There were several women and kids coming in and out of the bathroom while we were in there, and we were quite loud due to me having to walk her through every step twice. I can't imagine what they were thinking listening to us! She did wonderful; it didn't even hurt!

Just got the call from the nurse (and NOT my RE   ) and she said they wanted me to stay on Estrogen until Friday and come back!! I argued that I wanted to come back earlier to "check on things" since I have been cancelled and want to make sure they are monitoring me more closely. She was getting mad at me but I don't care since I have to advocate for myself and I'm not taking ANY chances of getting cancelled again!!

My RE wants my lning to be an 8 or 9 so we will see...I will be pushed back to the either the 1st or 2nd of March!!! I am going to try and calm myself down and realize a couple days in the scheme of things isn't a big deal and not to let pissy nurses get me down!!

will write personals later-c

Sarah Funny bathroom story! I think we all have some good stories. Maybe we should write a book lol!

Got my fertilization report...out of the 15 eggs, 13 fertilized! I am very happy with that! They also did not need to do ICSI this time, so I have a really good feeling that it's going to work! I just spoke to the most upbeat nurse ever lol. She did not know anything further about quality, so I have to wait until Wednesday. I am very happy that ICSI was not needed!!

Good luck and positive thoughts to everyone!!!

Claud662 - Remember that the nurses and doctors work for you. I have paid over $19,000.00 personally out of my pocket and once I reminded them that I have paid enought to put a child through college I quickly got results! You can remind them nicely as I did and now I am high on their radar. Make yourself stand out from their other patients...I was tired of getting put into the "box" of everyone else. We are all different and may need different protocols.

Claudia -- I'm saying a little prayer that you get to 8-9 mm so you can have that transfer. I wish I could give you a millimeter or two...lol. At my frozen transfer, I had a lining of 14 mm and the nurse assisting RE said "WOW, nice uterus!" to which I said "yeah well, at least I've got that going for me, right?". Anyway, March 1st is right around the corner. I'm thinking of you.

Lauren -- That's a great fert report! 13/15 with no ICSI! I'm jealous! Sending you many dividing wishes for a perfect embie to transfer.

AFM -- Got the call. I am going to trigger tonight at 12:30AM (ok, so tomorrow morning) & have ER on Wednesday. My estrogen is up to 1106! I'm sooo hoping for 5 or 6 eggs from this but realistically I know it could be 3 or 4. I'm sure I'll have ICSI & AH and probably have a 3 day transfer as well. :? Trying so hard to be optimistic here but it's just worry, worry, worry. But this is IVF and anything can and does happen. A woman who works for DH's company is 40 y/o & went through several IVF cycles with BFN results. Then out of nowhere, pregnant with triplets on her last try! The only thing is, she is 19 weeks and not doing well at all (i.e. can barely stand up). So I decided I only want to transfer two no matter what. Three is just too risky. Agree?

Positivethinking: I's very afraid of needles and stuff too. In 2001, when I's starting the first IVF cycle using my own eggs, I didn't even hear of there's anesthesia and was so scared how could they just used the metal sharp tools to retrieve my eggs. Fortunately, I had poor response on the meds and could only have 2.5 eggs retrieved inside. RE decided to cancel the cycle and told us to take some fertility supplement for a few months and to go back for another cycle. I determined it's so scary and told DH to work on our own instead of going through this again. I later had 2 natural pregnancies but found out no heartbeat from u/s. I didn't have the gut to go back until last year. You're much braver than me!

lou71: love the size of your eggs and love your lining! the most that I can get was 10mm.

claud662: so sorry for the solid 7! I had the same experience as you in my mock cycle. The more they increase the estrace or delestrogen, it's going down. I then went to another clinic to get the 2nd opinion. The 2nd RE told us to start from scratch but use Viville dot 0.1 estrogen patches instead of estrace or delestrogen, BINGO, my lining went up to 8. When I had my official cycle at the third clinic, the 3rd RE let me keep using the patches in addition to estrace, and I got 10mm lining at their clinic without any problem. Have you tried patches? I heard a few patients having the same problem and patches fixed the problem. GL to your lining! I also agreed with ktelise said! It's really so expensive!

gi: wish you have a good fertile report!

Merri_Baby_Dust: I exactly know what you mean. Only the u/s can tell whether there's heartbeat! So, GL to your u/s and sending you tons of sticky vibes!

miyaya: Sorry of what you have gone through! I wish you get what you want later on and GL!

Lauren1171: Congrats to the 13 fertilized! I think you really have good chance this time in addition with ICSI. GL!

sarita: Congrats to being official PUPO! Sending you lots of sticky vibes!

hello ladies, I started to try zoloft last night in addition to Ativan when needed. I only found out that I woke up so early at 5am today. I had to take a sleeping pill to go back to sleep. This morning I took a Ativan before going to see a new therapist for chronic illness. I'm feeling much better now. Now, I'm a little tired and want to take a nap. Will come back soon!

Just a quick note before I'm off to bed. Hope everyone is doing well...

Sarah - congratulations! You're pupo! So glad you've joined me in the 2ww!! Our little embies are snuggling in tight!! PMA, sweetie! It only takes 1!!

Lou - YAY for triggering! LATE night for you, girlfriend! I know what you mean about worrying about triplets... I can't imagine!... but then again, during my previous cycle, I was ready to transfer three... thankfully my DH was thinking more clearly than i! ;) Great E2! Hoping that those little eggies just jump right on up for you!!

dodo - sorry you woke up so early.. :( hope your meds get u to feeling better soon and hope that nap did you good!!! :)

Lauren - AWESOME fert report!! That's fantastic! Can't wait to hear how the little ones are progressing! Congrats!!

Claudia - so sorry the nurse is being a witch! but u are right. Stay on top of them! They make think they are doing u a favor, but it AIN'T for FREE, so they'd better do it right!! Sending all the thickening dust we can, sweetie!!! hang in there

miyaya - so glad to hear DH is coming around to considering adoption. I know you both are still hurting. hang in there... the best thing for you will be clear to you both soon. best wishes in whatever that might be. :)

gi! - great ER and 11 eggies!! WOO HOO! Sorry u can't have any wine to celebrate, but that's ok, you need to get urself ready for the next 9 months anyway!! ;) can't wait to hear your fert report!!

Got some girls joining us in the 2ww real soon!! can't wait!!

afm - nurse called today with cyro report. The 5 remaining blasts were frozen! I don't know what to say, we've never had any to freeze before. We have strong opinions about what to do with them if we don't want to have any more children, so it's kinda scary.. but we'll cross that road when we get there. maybe we'll find someone like Katie and give them a good home one day! ;)

hope- that is wonderful...5 frozen embabies!!! yes, you'll cross that bridge when you get there & whatever decision you & dh will come to, will be the right one for you! so how are you feeling pupo lady? how's icky treating his momma? your bpf will be here next week!

lou- woohoo...you are triggering!!! 6, 5, 4, 3...it doesn't matter, as long as you get some great ones, which you will! my sil did a 3dt & ah with 2 embabies...both stuck & 1 split...triplet boys! they are now 6. she went into labor at 24 weeks & delivered at 28 weeks...between the 3 of them they were in the nicu for up to a year & more problems followed. but they are so awesome now!

lauren- 13 out of 15 with NO icsi???? that is super! yay! go pma!

claudia- i'm praying for you hun. you call them tomorrow & you DEMAND to be seen by an RE! that is bullshit....i'm pissed off for you & i'm a pretty chill person. how dare they! please call them!

sarah- you're pupo!!! i know what you mean...i was emotional when i watched them do the et. it's so funny how different re's recommend different protocols for what to do after et's...mine said just light rest & just stay away from lifting heavy objects. i love hgtv....enjoy your rest! your bathroom story is hysterical...i love it :D when is your beta?

miyaya- i'm glad dh is recosnidering the adoption choice. he just needed some time to sort through things. that was me my last cycle...it took forever for the beta #s to go down to 0...it is an awful. cruel tease. i'm sorry (((HUGS))) let us know how the f/u appointment goes on wednesday!

merri- i absolutely love your pma & strength...you are an inspiration! i don't think i ever officially congratulated you on your bfp! so much luck to you...my fingers are crossed!

gi- congrats! 11 eggs is great! what a funny story...i agree with j...keep the card! sorry you can't have any wine, but it'll all be worth it when you get a bfp!

positive- great pma! can't wait to hear about your fert report!

katie- cannot wait to hear about your u/s tomorrow! how are you feeling?

latrell- doing the af dance! glad to know you're keeping yourself busy.

sonya- how are you momma?

meganlynn- when is your beta? i've got my fingers crossed for you! how are you feeling?

roshaunda- you had me teary-eyed when i read about your u/s! i'm so happy for you & dh! enjoy your pregnancy!

Good evening Ladies,

I just got finished watching the trashy bachelor women tell all!!! I am still angry that my nurse gave me such a hard time for wanting more morning monitoring but I'm over it as long as I still feel like I have some control over this crazy IVF cycle! So I am scheduled for an SnS on Wednesday and Friday morning whether they agree with it or not!!! I also scheduled an acupuncture apt on Thursday to give my uterine lining the best chance it can have!!!

Katie-I will be thinking of you all day tomorrow and hope that you get a pic of your little bean (or beans!!!)! I can't wait to hear what your RE has to say :D

Lou-YAH for trigger and glad that your numbers seemed so good!! I'm hoping for 7+ on Wednesday!!!! Fingers crossed

Hope-that's amazing that you had 5 blastocycsts to freeze!! I so hope that you don't have to use them in the future (since you WILL get a BFP for a birthday present this year!!)

Ktelise-thanks for that good comeback!!! I am SOOO fortunate to have my insurance cover fertility treatments but that doesn't make up for the fact that I have been an emotional basketcase the past year and with 2 cancellations and 2 chemicals since July, I think I have a right to want them to accomodate my situation (not everyone fits in the box....)

Lauren-LUCKY NUMBER 13!! That's awesome and I hope they keep dividing and growing!!

Sarah-your PUPO!! Sorry this has been so emotional and dealing with your husband going back to Honduras must be taking its toll. I am praying that your embie sticks and that you will be that cute mamma on the beaches of Honduras this summer (and take us with you!!!)

Gi=11!!! I'm so proud of you girl!!! can't wait to hear the update tomorrow

Merri-when is your u/s scheduled?!?!

Since it seems like we all have dogs on this thread I figured I would introduce you all to my baby Lincoln (a 100 pound yellow lab who just turned 2 in January)!! He is our life and a spoiled boy that spoons be and my husband while snoring in our bed inbetween us!!! He used to LOVE the shower (would get in every day with either DH or myself) but since turning 2 has been terrified?!?!?? My DH has to literallly lift him into the tub now!!!! oy...there will be none of that with me since he will soon outweigh me!!!!

Still reading all the posts but overwhelmed with trying to do personals and feeling GUILTY for posting! LOL

I am doing well - better each day I think. My betas are not great - not horrible, either. Just 'acceptable' which I'll glady take but it's difficult when I see such HUGE numbers at my dpo! My overall doubling time over 9 days is about 41 hours. It went from 38 to 31 to 56 so it seems to kind of jump. Everything I read says that anything under 72 at this point is normal, and they slow down around the sixth week. I have another beta on Thursday, six days after the last one.

My ultrasound is not until I am 7.5 weeks pregnant and time is CRAWLING. Still two weeks to go.

I am so very happy for all of the wonderful news.... I hope those who are trying again are ready for some fantastic news in the upcoming cycle, and those who are dealing with some difficult times are doing everything they can to pamper themselves.

I cannot seem to allow myself to become attached to this pregnancy. I know the betas are promising (even asked Ghost and s/he gave a great prognosis (sp?) of 90% chance of seeing a heartbeat. I just can't let myself get too excited until I see the ultrasound. Symptoms come and go - mostly exhaustion and boob soreness/itchyness. Also some mood swings but no nausea to speak of.

Hi everyone -

Sorry I was MIA yesterday, we had cable/internet problems all day - GRR! I missed you all! So the clinic called and bumped my u/s appt to 3:00 because of impending weather - which looks like we just got an inch of snow, and now rain. I'm so nervous that they wont see what they're looking for that I've been trying to force myself to not think about it. So ok lets add a few more hrs to that, right? UGH! I should be back by dinnertime. Hopefully with good news.

Gi Hooray for 11 eggs! I'm glad your ER went well and now you just rest up and let J do all the chores around the house. Awww, your poor pu! it makes you feel awful to take them to the vet when they know where they're going and let you know they're afraid! cuddle up with them. Sorry you're getting cheated out of your last glass of wine. - xoxo Dying to hear your fert report!

Sarah YAY PUPO!! I 'm sending you loads of PMA! When is your beta? Hee heee your shots in the bathroom story was too funny!

Hope Yiipppeeee for 5 frosties!!! Thats wonderful! I hope that "icky" is feeling very sticky! I may be a bit biased, but I think donating is the most amzing gift! You didnt break out the sticks yet, I hope?

Positive Yay for 5 eggs! Did you get the fert report yet?

Lou I agree totally! trips are scary and dangerous! Now twins on the other hand ..... keep growing and tomorrow is your big day! I'm so excited for you!
Oh, no - no dogs on the furniture - we'd end up on the floor! LOL! But both sleep in the bedroom (in their own dogbeds) but both snore like crazy!! And DH too!
If I wake up in the middle of the night, theres almost no hope of falling asleep again with symphony going!

Merri - You are the new Queen of Patience. But after a bad time last time, its totally understandable. But how have you been making your self not think of it? I'm trying, but its hardly working!

Miyaya - I'm so glad that your DH is coming around to the idea of adoption, he just needed to let things settle in his head and heart.

Lauren Wow 13 fert! Crossed for frosties for sure! Sticky thoughts for your ET tomorrow!

Es How are you doing, honey? We miss you around here! xoxo

Claudia Hey! I thought that last time they said this time they would "monitor you closely"? Good for you for making them do it! its a shame that you have to push the issue but it was neccessary this time! Wishing you good luck for your appts!

Dodo How are you feeling honey? I hope that you're feeling better now. Its been a rough time for you lately - xoxo

This is it. Transfer tomorrow at 9:45am. Right now 3 eggs have fertilized and they are at 2, 3 and 4 cells level. I am not sure what to think since this is the first time. However I have to put the endomitrium vaginally three times a day and everytime I do, my stomach is hurting and I feel like indigestion when I eat... Did anyone got this issue. It is not painful so I dont think I should tell the doctor but it is very unconfortable in the higher part of the stomach... Not sure what to think of it. Any ideas???
Cannot wait to hear from everyone else fert. report.... :D
