Hi Charlie! I remember you! So glad to see that Imogen is doing so well and that you are looking to provide her with a little brother or sister!! ;) YAY! My son, Gage, is 15 months, so we weren't far apart before and looks like we may not be too far apart again! How many frosties do you have on ice? And how many do you think you'll transfer?

Welcome Franca - I'm afraid I don't know much about FSH or Suprefact. Is this for IUI? We jumped directly to IVF, and those aren't names I'm familiar with... sorry. but best of luck to you in your upcoming cycle!! BABY DUST!! :D

Just a real quick update on me. Had our first U/S today. (6w3d) and we saw the beautiful, healthy heartbeat!! YAY! The bad news is that my m/s has really taken it's toll on me. Being able to keep nothing down today, my RE called in some Zofran for me. I can take it every 6 hrs as needed. I really don't want to take it, but i have to keep something down. i took the first one at about 4pm. it seemed to help a bit. took the edge off, at least. haven't gotten SICK anymore since before then. It seems to be wearing off already and it's only about 8pm here. oh well. the edge is better than nothing!

hope all are doing well.

can't wait to hear about your day on friday, Becks!! Mir - how's it going?? any news?

i'm sorry i can't do more personals, gotta get a bit of work done before i hit the sack. hugs ladies!

I have to be real quick tonight, but I just wanted to check on Hope and I'm THRILLED to hear about the healthy little heartbeat! :D:D:D:D YAAAAY! Sorry to hear about the MS... I really hope that Zofran will help. If I may, what makes you uncomfortable about taking Zofran?

I'll write more later I promise!

Hi everyone,

Well, I don't know my results of my blood test yet! I've rang the unit twice now and each time a nurse was supposed to call me back with the result! I need to know whether i've ovulated on the Clomid! I should (!) be due a period this saturday, but we will see! Hopefully I'll hear before this weekend if I did actually ovulate!

I did do a ovulation test tonight and there was a faint line to say that i was ovulating, but if it's right i'm later than what i should be. I'm going to do a test in morning (always say the morning wee is stronger!) and see what that says! I'd done them around day 14 and nothing so maybe i've just ovulated later which I don't mind as long as i've ovulated! Although DH is happy that we are regularly having 'early nights' lol

I'm feeling good though. The hot flushes have passed. I've been keeping myself busy with work and the gym. Me and DH go on holiday to Spain in 12 weeks and we want gorgeous beach bodies ( ) !!

This thread has got so busy it's hard to keep on top of what's going on with everyone! :D

Carolyn, i know how difficult twins can be - i've got twin nieces and used to look after them with a little help from my mum! it was difficult, but we could pass them back! lol Definitely worth it in the long run. I loved looking at my nieces, especially the toddler age - so cute! They are 15 now though and growing up fast. so sad :(

Hope664 - congratulations on hearing your beautiful baby heartbeat, bet it was amazing! So pleased for you :) Hope you feel better soon with the m/s.

Rachel - hope Daisy is ok. Must be awful worrying about her.

Sorry if I've missed people.

Will be in touch when i hear from the unit!

Take care x

mir !!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!! So glad to hear you've gotten the green light! So thrilled for you! can't wait!!!

becks - today is the big day! hoping all goes well! xoxo!

sophie - the girls are right, jeremie is adorable! so precious! i know you can't wait to get him a bro or sis! (hoping for pink this time??) my older boys (DSSs) are... and my family - everyone, pretty much, except DH. ;) He says he "only makes boys" - guess we'll see - so far, he's 4 for 4, so he may be right! the reason i didn't want to take anything is just because i didnt want to take any drugs if i didn't have to. - but i do... and even this isn't really cutting it. i def don't want to take any category C drugs if I can absolutely stand it... B is ok, which is what Zofran is... but i wish i didn't have to take anything. oh welll... so much for wishes. ;) we can't get all of them!

alright gotta run, DH is packing the car.... hugs to all and talk with you soon!

Hi everyone
Some of you may remember me. I did my 2nd IVF cycle in Jan 07 and was blessed with a BFP and a little girl, Ruby, who's now coming up to two and a half. We've just done our third and final cycle of IVF to see if we can have a sibling for her. We had 2 grade 1 embryos transferred on Thursday and are due to test on 1st April!
Fingers crossed!!

What a beautiful day!

Hope - congratulations on seeing the beautiful heartbeat - what a fabulous moment! sorry to hear about your MS - hope it passes soon! We have 4 frosties on ice and hope to transfer 2 - we have our first appointment on 14th May but not sure when we will actually have FET - it depends on what is said.

Sophie - Jeremie is gorgeous! Its horrible when thet start to pick things up at nursey - imogen always seems to have a bug or a cold. They will have an immune system like a rhino by the time they are at School!

Mir - Congratulations on getting the green light to start

Wishful - Congratulations on the safe arrival of Benjamin and Samuel - Ihope everything is going well for you.

Hi Ems - I remember you! Good luck for test day - are you going to hold out till then?

Hi to everyone I have missed - I'm still trying to catch up with everyones news!

Hi everyone

This thread is moving so fast again I can't keep up!!

Mir you will never irritate us you go on as much as you like you have certainly been patient waiting as long as you have and you have supported all of us all the way!! So we are here now to listen to you every day!!! I can't wait to hear you telling us how its all going, did I read somewhere you are learning to cake decorate too?? Where do you find all that time???

Hope hows it going are the drugs working? Hope that sickness dowsn't last too long  Hope you had a nice weekend away

Hi Charlie and Ems, welcome to our thread, its nice to have new faces, or should I say Old new faces!!! Funny how we keep coming back time after time!! I wouldn't be without my cyber friends on this thread!! :D

Carolyn hows those nights going? Is it any better, will send you and the boys some reiki tonight, hope it helps. So are you run off your feet, any more piccies of them I bet they have changed loads all ready. xxx

Vicky have you heard anything yet?? We are off to Spain too, going a bit sooner tho over the easter break, can't wait for the rest!! 8)

Sophie my friend its so good to have you back, Jeremie is soooooooooooooooooo gorgeous!!!!! How is he doing in the day care? Not long for your FET you and Mir going to be around the same time give or take a couple of weeks maybe? You sound like you have had lots going on in your life over the last few months, we have missed your words of wisdom xx
My grandma thankfully is back home now and refusing any help, at 97 you would hope she would accept some but no not her!! She can manage just fine thankyou and doesn't want any help as she so loudly told us all when we were trying to organise some help for her!! She is back in her familier place now so hopefully her confidence will build up again, she is amazing really :D
As for the children they were amazing and were really good allowing me to do my thing with grandma, I have had the fall out this week however being punished for leaving them!! So feeling a bit battered around the edges but we have all had a family conference around the dinner table tonight and put things back into perspective even the 5 yr old had her say!! So hopefully back on an even keel again now   I can't put any pictures up of the little girl we are hoping to adopt as yet due to confidentiality but if we are approved and we become a family I will certainly put some up then, it all takes such a long time and the process is so slow!!

Hi Jayne how are you doing, glad to hear Oliver is all better now

Rachel sorry to hear your worries about Daisy, my mum told me I was just 28lbs when I started school at 5, wouldn't eat a thing when I was little and looked like I had sparrow legs so thin they looked like they wouldn't hold me up!!! To look at me now you wouldn't believe I was so tiny then!! Hope the worries go away soon xxxx

Becky how did it go on friday? Hope all went well,

OK sorry if I have missed anyone better be getting off to bed, will catch up again with you all later in the week.

Take Care
Love Lee xxxxx

Hi guys!!!

Okay, I'll try to be quick! It's so good to see this thread active again! yayaayayyaaaaay! :D

Hi Jayne! How is everything? Anything new?

Hi Franca! Nice to have you with us! :D Welcome! Can you tell us a little more? What makes you nervous? Is it excited-nervous or nervous-nervous?

Hi Charlie!!! Welcome too!! :D It's great to meet new people! I don't think we've cycled together before... so I see our plans are similar. Any month in mind?

Hi Hope! How was the weekend? Did you get some rest? Is the Zofran working? I know what it is to know what you want. You seem to have a very clear attitude towards meds. Alas, sometimes life forces us to change our plans, and a little flexibility sometimes removes unecessary stress... I know what I'm talking about; having a first child really taught me to let go more and change my expectations, plans, and so on. Go with the flow more. Of course, I hope Zofran will do the trick and you won't have to make a tough choice about meds. I say this just in case, you know? :D Keep us posted dearest. Have you booked your first Dr apt yet? :D Will you go with the same Dr? Oh, and yup, I'm hoping for a girl, and before I really wanted to have at least one girl. But living with Jérémie, who is so sweet and good-tempered and just stole my heart, I absolutely don't mind. Another boy would be just find and wouldn't feel like something's missing. I'll take whatever little soul chooses us as a family.

Miracle, YAY for the green light!!!!! :D:D:D When will we see a ticker my dear??? It would do the countdown for you and we'd experience it with you! :D This is SO exciting, you've been waiting for so long! Must still seem a little bit unreal, right? Ha, wait until you buy your meds! :D That will do the trick! As for my family, yeah, Jérémie's arrival had quite an effect. Everybody's defenses just dropped and it made things a lot easier. A complete new start. Of course, the good old irritants are still there, but the relationship has changed dramatically. Life is good, my friend.

Hi Vic! So, any news? You must be on pins and needles, I hope the Clomid worked! :D

Hi Carolyn! How is our new momma? Are the boys behaving? Have they started to space their feeding sessions a little more now? I hope so, so you can get a little rest. Sometimes, 30 minutes make a LOT of difference! How is DH?

Hi Ems! welcome! So, the dreaded 2ww! :) How are you doing? Feeling? Good luck!!!!

Hi Lee, I'm glad the weekend went well, too bad for the... rebound effect afterwards, LOL! Oh, well... I guess your grandma knows what she's doing. If that fall didn't give her a scare, she probably knows what she's in for. I mean, you can't force people, and even if you wouldn't make the same choices, it doesn't mean they don't know what's best for them. I understand you, though, I would be worried. DH feels the same way about his mom. She is obese and although she's only 60, she's had a couple of falls already. They have this really narrow staircase at home that they always use and he once told me he feels like he's just waiting for THE call. That one day, his mother will fall and remain handicaped and his father won't be able to take care of her (because she's so heavy, he wouldn't be able to bathe her, carry her to bed, and so on). So they would really be in trouble. And of course, don't tell her about being more active or moving to another house that wouldn't have stairs. ;) Jérémie is adapting well to the daycare. He'll be full time this week, from 8am to 3:30pm. It's great to have some alone time in the house before I go back to work. I can finally work on my cookbook (my own recipes) and prepare a few other things. As for my words of wisdom, thanks for saying that you're really sweet, but lately I've been working on humility: mind your own business and try to understand people more instead of trying to help/fix them all the time! ;)

Thanks ladies for your great comments about Jérémie. You're really sweet! :D:D I'm still waiting for AF to come for real. I had promising spotting yesterday, but not enough to call the clinic. It will be today or tomorrow, of course. And that means the final countdown to the end of breastfeeding has begun. I'm not too sad, because I've started giving him the bottle around noon for the last two weeks. So I know that I can still have cuddling special time with him if I want to.

Okay, gotta jump on that ellpitic exerciser and burn some calories! Already lost 6 pounds, it feels great! :D Go away, baby fat, go away!... so I can gain some again, LOL!

Kissies,

Sophie

Good evening ladies - thank you all for the warm welcome back!

Hi Rachel - nice to hear from you, 4oz gain this week is great - I hope you get to see the ped soon x

Sophie - I think we cycled together Dec/Jan 07?I remember you because of your flamenco dancing - is that right? We are not sure which month to go for FET - I know it sounds a bit calculating but I am a teacher and in order to get the most out of my maternity pay and leave the best month is January / February - however that is ages away and I don't think I can wait that long! I know its not all about money - so we may just go for it asap and what will be will be!

Thanks for the comments about Imogens name - it was quite spur of the moment really as we were convinced we were having a boy! DH chose it.

Mir - 26 days now is it? that will soon come around!

Ems - how are you holding up? Don't give in to the evil poas!

Hi Hope, Wishful, Lee, Becky amd anyone else I have missed! Got to run DH has made me spag bol - lovely!

Hi guys!

I just wanted to let you know that I've called the clinic today because AF showed up yesterday. I'll start my meds on April 11th. :D:D:D Wow, can't believe I'm back into that boat.... ;)

Charlie, you have an amazing memory! WOW, my first IVF seems like AGES ago!!!! Yes, I was dancing flamenco before! I had to stop when I became pregnant, and I was too tired when this season began (still nursing often, baby still not sleeping through the night). I'm hoping that I'll be back eventually, but only time will tell. I miss the dancing that's for sure. As for the choice you have to make, I understand perfectly. But I've paid attention to the way people manage their baby planning, and really, there is just no perfect time. You can always find pros and cons to any moment of the year, so if I were you, I would wait until you feel ready and just go for it, and trust the universe! :D

Girlies? Where are you???? *hugs*
