I recently found out that I am pregnant after a treatment in Czech Republic - Gyncentrum in Ostrava. I had 2 embryos transferred and 3 frozen for future use. I did not use Lupron (the clinic does not recommend it) only HRT to bring my period on as I am perimenoposal and have periods infrequently.
I used progynova for the preparation of the uterus lining – the clinic sent me their protocol. My lining was 10 mm when I had the scan at the clinic.
The journey was relatively easy ( we travelled by train from Prague) and the clinic was great, very friendly.
The doctors are very serious about their profession and they were trying to do their best to get the women pregnant. They have excellent results in clinical pregnancy.
They practically have no waiting list for ED, as they have plenty of good donors and a big bank of frozen embryos therefore no waiting list for embryo adoption also.
The donor already had 2 children and was University educated, I only got basic characteristics of the donor as in Czech Republic they are anonymous.
I was corresponding for a while with Diana from Gyncentrum, who speaks good English, her email is:
diana.smith@gyncentrum.com. I have been to clinics in Brno and Prague, had one BFN and one biochemical.
The treatment with DE costs €3,600 much less than the other Czech clinics.
Best regards
Anna Maria
