Hi everyone,
Can't believe I've missed so much of this thread already! The August babies thread I was on fizzled out so I didn't know where to go. Anyway, I've missed chatting to everyone...so here I am.
Lou - Aaarrrrrgh! Congratulations, can't believe I missed your BFP at long last. I'm sooooo pleased for you and your DH.

Hope you are feeling ok - although it sounds like you had a migraine - I hope they don't carry on.
It will take me a while to catch up with who is on here, but thank you Katie for setting up another great thread - it's nice to be back, on the happier side of things for a change.
Just by way of a catch up, I've had scans at 7wks, 8 wks (because I fell down the stairs on Christmas eve - very scary but all was ok thank god - was petrified I would miscarry after getting so far and actually getting pregnant), 12 weeks and 20 weeks. We have decided not to find out the sex of the baby and to keep it as a surprise. My Mum always said that the surprise of not knowing was the only thing that kept her going at the end!
We haven't decided on any names yet, partly because we haven't really discussed them but also because there's so few that we both like!!!
I felt the baby properly kick for the first time last week, when I was 22 weeks. This is actually quite late to feel the baby move for the first time from everything I have read. So from about 15 weeks I have been stressing about not having felt any movement, which I found strange given that every scan we had showed the baby wriggling around all over the place - so bizzare that something is moving around inside you and you can't even feel it.
Now that I have felt it kick, it has really developed some strength in the last week - enough to be able to see the kicks and for my DH to feel them too - which was so nice for him. It really is amazing. If you lie down or sit still, the baby tends to wake up and move about, so it's a good way to test that it's still moving when you haven't felt it for a while. Not sure I'll get away with lying on the floor at work though! Haha, there's always something to stress about!
I was really lucky on the MS front - was never actually sick and only nauseous from weeks 10-16 so can't complain. However, I have had really back lower back ache since 15 weeks, which I wasn't expecting at all. I thought that kind of thing only came on in the last few weeks! Pregnany yoga and acupuncture are helping a bot with that though.
Bump is definitely coming along nicely though - I love having it and people being able to tell that I'm pregnant - I've wanted it for so long and seen so many other friends/family members with them, I am trying to enjoy every second in case it's the only baby we ever have.
Anyway, enough from me - I look forward to getting to know everyone and to hear all of your pregancy stories.
xx
