Rio -- How are things going? I hope you're doing well.

Things are crazy. 3 children under 2 is really difficult. I do realize how fortunate I am, though. The twins are just over 3 months old now. My mom has been with us almost the whole time. I don't know how we would've coped otherwise.

It is so hard to give everyone the attention they deserve. My wish for them is that in the long run the benefits they receive from having each other as siblings will outweigh the disadvantages of being so close in age.

They are precious, though. All 3. When I have time to stop and actually think I realize that I am one very, very lucky woman. :D

Rio - 3 transferred sounds great! Any info on quality? How are you feeling? The 2ww is so stressful. I hope all goes well for you.

I tried to get into our photobucket but I couldn't. Do I have the correct info?:

username: octmommies2b
password: octedd

I'll just describe the kids a bit since I can't get into the bucket -- and I'm up at 4am (just fed the babes). My little Evie (19 months old!) is our dark-haired beauty. My twins are blonde. Cecilia's hair is kind of a dark blonde and Benjamin's hair is a golden blonde. So, my kids have all different colors! My hair is dark blonde (light as a child) and DH's is nearly black (well...black and gray, LOL) so I guess that explains it.

Benjamin is the easiest baby I've ever seen. Very calm, good eater, good sleeper. Cecilia is a sweetheart. She sleeps well at night and eats well but is the LOUDEST baby I've ever heard LOL. Seriously. She sounds like one of those flying dinosaurs from Jurassic Park.

Small things set her off and she hits the panic button and just loses her marbles. I hope she outgrows it. She is adorable, though and such a funny little thing. Her brother is so much bigger than she is. She also sometimes sticks out her tongue when she smiles and it cracks me up. Benjamin has a precious smile, too, and is a sweetheart. My mom calls him "Gentle Ben".

Evie is doing well. She knows her letters and numbers! She is loving having Grandma-ma stay with us. I must say, though, that she is a clumsy little thing, The child walks into walls. She trips over her own feet. I'm threatening to put a helmet on her!

I would love to hear from the rest of you! How are things going?

Rio - Keep us posted. We've all been there -- and not even that long ago. I'm praying for another miracle baby (or two!) for you. :)

So great to hear from you! The password you have and username are correct I just tried them!
Your babies sound like a gorgeous bunch! How cute they all have different color hair :) I love it when their personalities emerge! Our son is always running into things too and got bruises everywhere, I think the helmet and pads all over would be great sometimes. It is hard to get used to it all that clumsiness at this age. They are all going to have so much fun together being so close in age.

We had 6 follies and 6 eggs, only 3 were mature enough and 3 fertilized. We transfered a 5 cell, 8 cell and 9 cell and I am hoping for another miracle! Friday is not here soon enough! The 2WW is dreadful... then comes the next milestone of heartbeat, then 12 weeks... it never ends does it? :) but it could not be a more wonderful journey! I need al of your baby dust!!!!! :)

How are the rest of the girls? Gecko - how is the new baby?

Hi Ladies,

My second son, Colton Neil, was born via repeat c-section on April 28th. He is small but doing well. He weighed 7lb 9oz at birth but lost 9% of his weight before we left the hospital. He had his first check-up yesterday and gained it all back plus some and is very healthy. I was only breastfeeding at first but am now supplimening with formula. He is only at the 18th percentile for weight! His brother was huge in comparison - always in the 90th plus percentile. So far, he is pretty mellow. Only cries when he is hungry and is sleeping for 4 hour stretches at night. Hooray! I hope it stays that way. Big brother is adjusting. He likes to hug and kiss him a lot. He is starting to throw temper tantrums but it is hard to tell if that is because of his new brother, or because he is approaching two. Other than that, he is also doing well. He is very active and is learning words at an incredible rate! It is so cute to hear him talk! I just love being a mom.

As for me, I am doing ok after a rather rough c-section. My whole belly was bruised because they had to work so hard to get the baby out this time. I had a lot of pain that they did a poor job of controlling too. I am much better now that it has been three weeks. I am pretty much back to my activities and can easily lift my toddler and do chores etc... My DH took a month off of work to be with us, but he has to go back to work on Monday. I hope I can handle both kids all by myself! He will only be home on weekends so I am pretty much on my own. Yikes!

Rio - I am sooooo excited for you! Your beta is tomorrow, right? Do you have any symptoms? Have you POAS yet? Baby dust, baby dust, baby dust.......Keep us posted.

Mellie - Wow. You are a super woman! I am glad the twins are doing well. It sounds like you have your hands full! Life is fun, hard, and amazing all at the same time, isn't it?

Katie - I am glad Parker is doing well. I am excited for you starting your FET this summer. Almost there!

Michele - Happy belated birthday! How are you doing?

TwinMommy - The twins sound like they are doing great! Teething sucks, doesn't it? Declan has 16 teeth now. The molars really hurt him but not as much at the canines when they came in recently. When do the rest of the molars come in. Soon?

Tammy - How are you doing? How did the FET go?

Weezie, Corny - How are you doing?

Hi ladies how are all of you? Its a been a long time. I am finally on board for my FET. I transfer next Thursday. FET is sooo different from fresh. Its kinda scary not having all the visits for the reassurance. After my transfer they wont see me until the beta so it sorta freaks me out. I hope that everyone is doing well and can you believe our little ones are turning 2???? Where has the time gone?? Take care!!!

Hey everyone! OMG, I have totally fallen off of these boards, and don't have a lot of time to catch up, but I will be back so to do so, I promise!

Gecko- Congrats! And he shares my birthday, how exciting!

Katie- Good luck on your FET! I am sending lots of babydust!

Ella is doing great, I can not believe she is almost 2! Planning her 2nd b-day bash in in full effect! I am looking for a teaching job for the fall. I think it's about time to go back. We need a bigger house, and if we ever want to try ivf again, we either need new insurance or more money to pay out of pocket. Although I am enjoying all my time at home, this is the right thing to do for my family.

We had birth-3 out to our house for an evaluation because we are concerned with Ella's language. She is super smart, comprehending and knowing what we are saying, but she does not repeat words and her spoken language is lacking. They came out and not only was she delayed in language, but also in motor skills, so she will be receiving in home services to help her. It is scary to hear your child is delayed, but I am glad we can get her help. She will likely catch up, and as a teacher I know catching these things early is key. I think staying home with her has hurt a little. I am now looking for a part time preschool program for her.

My husband and I started a photography business last summer and it is going great! That is part of the reason I have had no time for these boards. I spent a ton of time editing, advertising, networking, bookkeeping, it is crazy. But in our first full year I think we are going to make close to $10,000, so not too shabby! Feel free to check out our work: www.toddphilip.com. or find us on facebook: www.facebook.com/toddphilipphotography I actually have to run because we are photographing a wedding tonight and I have so much crap to do before we go.

Take care everyone, and I promise I will be back soon, and definitely share a couple pics!

Hey All,

It's been quiet on our little board lately. I hope everyone is busy and doing well!

Can you believe that our little ones are going to be TWO YEARS OLD?!?!? What are you all doing to celebrate this year? I am looking for ideas. Last year we just had family over and did a lunch and cake. Seems a little boring to do the same thing again.....

Hi Everyone!

I don't know if anyone still comes to this board, but I have checked a few times to see if there are any updates. I was just thinking about all of you and our little ones and hoped a post might generate some updates from others.

Evie turned 2 last week. All of our little ones must be having birthdays around now :D She is a sweetie -- very into kitty cats, books, and music.

Benjamin and Cecilia are eight and a half months old. They are healthy and doing well. Benjamin is crawling all over and is a little giggle monster. Cecilia is a little sweetheart -- loves to be held.

It's been a very difficult time since the twins were born. Having 3 under 2 years makes it difficult to be the Mom you want to be. I think of how I was able to take care of Evie's every need right away when she was an infant and how different it is for the twins b/c they are always having to wait (often not very patiently).

Although it's been difficult I know that I am blessed to have them. I am so grateful that they are here. I am a happy Mommy and more and more I am finding that things are becoming smooth.

I am wishing lots of good things for you all. To those of you who are trying for more children my heart goes out to you and I wish you lots of baby dust. I hope everyone is happy and well and enjoying their little ones! :D

Anyone else want to update?

Hi Mellie!

I know, we are all busy bees and no one has time for the boards anymore! I check in here and there, but I definitely do not spend as much time here as I use to. I am glad to hear your babies are doing well, and god bless you for having 3 of them under 2! I imagine that would be crazy! And I am sure things will really smooth out soon. Your hard work now will pay off. They will all be close in age like me and my brothers, and we are best friends! I hope the same for your kiddos!

My life has turned crazy. I ended up going back to work. I found a job as a 6th grade math teacher at a middle school in one of CT's largest cities. My school is very large (1200 students) and being inner city, the kids can be quite challenging. I am happy to be working and helping our financial situation, but I miss spending all of my time with Ella. She is now in daycare 3 days a week and I only get to see her for a few hours a day and on the weekends. But I know this is what was the best decision for my family. We would have been drowning in debt soon with no prospects of another cycle ever.

Which brings me to my good news! My new job has provided me with new insurance which gives me UNLIMITED ivf coverage! I wanted to run straight to my clinic and get started, but Todd and I decided to plan wisely. We are going to put the house up for sale after the holidays, hopefully find a bigger house, and then cycle during the summer when I am on summer vacation. Less stress that way. I will keep you all updated!

Our photography business is going well, which also adds to my crazy schedule. I have never had so little time in my life! But it is good. Everything is great! Ella is still receiving services for developmental delays, but I feel like she is making progress. She is getting much more vocal everyday, trying to repeat a lot of words. I know she will be just fine, but I am glad we got her help early. She is still a little peanut, maintaining her 5th percentile in weight. I have so much trouble with clothes for her. She is almost 26 months but her waist is still in 12-18 month clothes, but that size is too short of course. I am looking very forward to christmas this year as Ella is "into" so much. This is the first year she will really enjoy christmas. I can't wait to see her little face light up! Oh, and more exciting news, both of my brothers and their wives are expecting! So Ella will have 2 cousins in the next 6 months!

Ok, I hope everyone is doing well. I know I have said it a bazillion times girls, but if you are on facebook, let me know so I can "friend" you. I would love to see some pictures and keep in touch that way. I have connected with quite a few people from these boards over on facebook.

I will try to get on here more often, I promise! Take care.

H Ladies,

I'm still here! I check in about once a week to see if there is anything new going on. And this week there is!

Mellie - So good to hear from you! I can't imagine how incredibly busy you must be with three kids under 2! I only have two under two and my hands are FULL. Are you finished or are you planning to have anymore?

CT Michelle - Wow! Your really have taken on a lot! I am glad that Ella is doing well. Can you believe they are already two? I am always amazed that I am really a mom. Congrats on getting your teaching job. I am teaching full time at the high school level and it is really a lot of work. I went out on maternity leave last April and then went back at the end of August when the new school year started. It was harder to go back this time. Oh well. We need the money. I am hoping that once the kids reach Kindergarden I can work only part time in order to be with them in the afternoons. We shall see.

As for me, life is good - busy -but good. Both boys are doing well. Declan is talking up a storm. He is very verbal and his day care teachers have commented that he is very literate. Since I am an English teacher, this makes me very happy!!!!! He loves to climb everything and plays in the "big boy" section of the playground now. He scares me that he can climb so high, but I just grit my teeth and let him do it! Little brother, Colton, is also doing well. He is smaller than his brother but still in the 50th percentile. He LOVES to eat and started solid foods at 4 months. He also likes to "talk" and people have commented that he really only talks to me. He and I have an amazing bond. I was afraid at first since I ended up suffering from PPD and it took me some time to adjust, but he is my little love bug. Declan loves his little brother and is always kissing him and playing with him. I am so glad there really isn't much jealousy. This will probably change when Colton starts crawling and getting into his brother's stuff!

DH promoted which is great, but he is still working far away from home. He is pretty much only home on weekends so I am with the boys by myself all week. It is hard but since they are such mellow guys, it works out.

I miss you all and hope that those "missing in action" post how things are going.

Take care everyone!

Denise

Hi everyone!! I am glad to see a fwe of us still around. I don't get on near as much but I try and stop by every now and then. It's hard to believe our babies are 2!!!! It is such a fun age. Parker is into everything and talking up a storm. My good little sleeper now fights going to bed since we have put him in his todler bed. We also just found out the the twins are boys. So no pink in my future but thats okay. Three boys will be fun (a bit scary but I will adjust). We are expecting our little ones late March. We take care and I hope for BFP's for everyone who is cycling!!! Babydust and sticky vibes.

WOW - I am so happy to see updates! I miss you girls!

KatieG - wow twins and 3 boys!!!! WOW you will have your hands full! Take some pointers from Mellie! Congratulations!

Gecko - thanks again for the referral to Dr E she is awesome and so is Anne! Your boys sound wonderful! Glad to hear DH got promoted but sorry he is still so far.

CT - awesome you got unlimited IVF coverage - wow - that is amazing! Good plan on moving first and doing it during the summer, it really takes a toll on you! I am glad to hear Ella is doing well and so is the photography business! Congrats on the job! How is your shepherd?

Mellie - you are my hero! 3 under two is no joke! I have my hands full with one and a puppy and I cannot imagine how crazy busy you are. Are you back to work?

AFM I am back on the boards full force! I tried again in May and had an ectopic pregnancy which was hard to deal with. Then earlier this month we tried again and got a BFP, now I am waiting for my first US on Thursday! Our little boy is a big one, 98% in height and so strong, to big and strong for his own good! He is a typical boy, into everything and I cannot leave him alone for 1 minute. We also have a puppy who is 6 mos old now, so two shepherds and a bird! Really busy at work and home. It was great geting updates!
