Hi everyone -
I've been reading along, but I find that I dont have too much to talk about. I sort of feel like I'm in a holding pattern or something. I feel waaaay too good lately
I dont "feel" pregnant at all. I know that symptoms come & go but really, I feel physically great. Weird huh? I keep reading the books and waiting to agree with the symptoms they say I should have - but nothing except sore boobs. I really hate to say it but I cant help but remember that Lou also felt great w/ no symptoms before getting that devastating news. So I REALLY would like to have that u/s now instead of next week. But they want it done between 18-22wks and my DH said " Do you really want to go right at 18wks?" "Are you sure you'll get all the measurements"? So now he has me thinking that I should wait a little bit?
But on the other hand, I dont think anything calms us down other than a u/s, right? and I'm pretty sure that after this upcoming one I know it will be ANOTHER month+ wait - ugh! But I am going to call to make the appt today and I'll ask their opinion on when is best to schedule. Plus I HAVE to know if we're on Team pink or Team blue! I'm dying to find out!
BTW - Is anyone else having such crazy dreams every night? I wake up at least 2-3 times each night from these strange dreams and I'm like "What was that about"? They dont make any sense at all, but disturb me enough to ruin a nights sleep. And they're so vivid!
Angela - I'm with Claudia - yes, spotting is normal especially in ivf pregnancies, but you surely dont need all that additional stress, you need to get a u/s & b/w so you'll feel better. Do you have to wait until your RE comes back on thur? Can someone else do it? I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers -xoxo
Claudia - Congrats Aunt Claudia! I'm sorry that your b/w results got you upset - but really? If you had antibodies present on the same day that you had a shot - did they forget that part? I believe in my heart that you and little Flick are doing just fine. For your peace of mind, I hope that they call you early so you dont start to stress - xoxo
Malya - love the pic! Have a wonderful visit with your family this week! I have on & off acid reflux also and my OB said it was ok to take Zantac twice a day - feel better
Dodo - I've got everything crossed for the 24th! just 1 more week to go! How are you feeling these days?
Hazel - I'm hoping and praying that the surgeon's conference yeilds some much needed insight on your Dad's condition today. Hugs & prayers for getting good news today
Steph - Whew! I'm so glad to hear that Andrew is actively looking for help. I hope he finds someone he feels comfortable with so that he'll want to continue the process. Your DD sounds so mature and ahead of her years! She instantly realized why Andrew was acting that way - Thank God that she didnt get confused - she really is an insightful little girl! Now I see why you say she's 10 going on 20! Yay! You've felt movement already! I guess with 2 in there they are jockying for postion already? How wonderful that must have been. I hear you too my DH asks often how I feel, but its been awhile since he's picked up one of the pg books too. I guess its different for them.
Gi - I'm with you! This would be easier if they could just wake us up when its time to deliver! Ha Ha. How are you feeling honey?
Ronda - I never hated my insurance company until I started ivf - How are you feeling? Please tell me that your m/s is finally gone
Karen - How are you holding up? Are you still feeling good?
Helene - I cant wait to hear how your IPS scan went today! Hooray for your DH moving those boxes too. That was not funny. Love your belly pic. I need to take another one, but I swear I dont see a difference!
hugs & prayers to us all - xoxo
