Hey guys, my ET was on 06/08 and my beta is on 06/18 and again, no symptoms whatsoever. I took a hpt yesterday at 4am and it came back BFN. I spent the entire day crying and sulking... i decided not to poas and wait for the beta and get the news firsthand. I am still bloated like a balloon and got sore sore bbs, and twinges..NOTHING else...

Hi Ladies - its so great to be able to share with all of you daily and hear how everyone is doing in their cycle! So happy I have this to help me through this time around. Especially this week that I have off it is keeping me busy - checking out all posts.

lisadcb - I had my transfer last friday 6/11...and my embies were 5 day blasts. I have my pregnancy test on monday 6/21 - can't wait!!!!!!!!! SO NERVOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How about you? When was your transfer and when is your beta? Yes I also am taking the cramping as a good sign all fingers crossed

millers - yeah I do think its way to early probably will try it again in a couple of days...hopefully positive then Haaaaaaa thats a good thought the embies are digging in LOL!!!!! Lets hope thats what the cramps are!!! I mostly have a mild cramp all day off and on, not really any twinges. Hope you are taking it easy!!!!!!!!!!

craftycat so sorry to hear about what happened. wishing you the best of luck in september. its wonderful that you get 4 cycles for free. my insurance only paid 5k for a lifetime, so its all gone now. its not over for you. keep positive.

I'm new to IVF. I am starting my 1st cycle this month. Alittle about myself, my husband & I have been married for 4 years.
I'm 39 years old, 40 in Dec. We just started to try to conceive last Nov. I visited my OBGYN to discuss pregnancy & she mentioned I go to a RE due to the fact that my FSH levels are too high. What were we thinking to wait this long to try to conceive? We've been going to an RE in Morristown, NJ. We've had 3 unsuccessful IUI's now we're onto IVF. I'm a little skeptical & nervous being I'm not one to take medicines. I'm concerned of the higher doses of Follistim, more meds & the egg retrieval. It's nice to hear people are excited to start IVF. I'm glad to have joined this forum to go through the steps with other women going through similar situations. Can anyone tell me of any side effects from Estradiol & progesterone?
I am looking forward to putting this behind me oneday with a great outcome!! Sometimes you don't know what you're capable of until you go for it. I pray for strength & positvie thinking.

Glad to hear that a lot of you all are starting to get BFP results already. I am also sorry to hear that it did not work out for some of you. Keep your heads up and know that it will work out the next time.

I started my Lupron Thursday 6/10, and my Follistim 175 IU on 6/12 (as well as the Climara patch and estrogen pills). So far so good. The only downfall was the nasty looking bruise I now have on my stomach from the Follistim shot on Sunday. I keep anticipating my first ultrasound and bloodwork appointment tomorrow. I really hope that things are going as planned and we can move on to having the Retrieval 6/22 and ET 6/25. Fingers crossed for good news tomorrow. If not its going to be a long day because after my appointment Im headed to the dentist so get some fillings.

Thanks Narly, trying to keep positive. 5k really is a drop in the ocean when you consider how expensive this is. Hope it works for you.
Blairwh58... bruises... hmm yes!! You should see my arm! I had blood taken 4 time in a week so twice on each arm, the left arm is very difficult to get a vein so was already black.. then they decided to put the cannula in that arm for the general! It's now so bad it's embarrassing, have to cover it up when I go out or I'm sure people will think I'm a druggie!!

Just got home from ER.....only got 8 and the RE told me two were small. I guess I should just be glad I got 8 but last time I actually got 11. TESA went well for my DH and they got plenty of moveable sperm for the ICSI. I had much more pain on the right side post procedure than last time, but almost all resolved with a percocet. I told the nurse that it hurts more than last time and she acted as if they had alittle more difficulty with retrieval this time. Oh well...time will tell. Find out tomorrow how many fertilized. Fingers crossed for almost 100% (can always hope, right) Plan to do ET Friday 6/18. Hope for good results to all!!!

kywildcat- 8 is a good number! Hopefully you will get the call tomorrow about all the fertilization that occured. I am glad it went well, and that the percocet helped. Ive already warned the RE that I will need a lot of anxiety meds on board for the retrieval. When the RE did the Laparoscopy they had to keep upping the dose of the Versed and I still started crying in the hallway- so they had to bring the Propofol out to me so I would stop crying before we got in the OR.

June is going to be a good month, so Im sending positive thoughts your way!! Im hoping to be exactly a week behind you.

I'm new to this thread (moving from May Cycle Buddies). I began the FET process late April. My first cycle was cancelled in May b/c of fluid in my lining (never heard of that before). I started it again and my transfer is set for Friday, June 18. I have 4 frosties. I think they are going to unthaw all 4 and we will see how many make it.

I have a DS from my 1st IVF cycle in Dec 2007. My second IVF cycle July 09 I got a BFP but miscarried at 8 weeks. So i am hoping for another BFP with this FET.

afm - on day 4 of stims, feeling my belly grow already! hope those follies are getting nice and big... i had more drama w/ the insurance issues and almost had to stop the cycle b/c the meds weren't coming but the RE spotted me a day's worth of meds to help me out til the insurance authorization came thru. and it finally came today, yay! so my baby in a box is finally on its way, ITS ABOUT TIME
