I can't wait for tomorrow!!! so whats a good number, what should i be expecting??

narly-as long as your numbers atleast went up 65% to doubling from your first beta is what they are looking for .
the scan is the first ultrasound in that they will be looking for a yolk sac [or two ].good luck tomorrow ,hope you come back with great numbers ...keep us posted!

i thought i would share this blooper i found today .....so in my bloodwork my progesterone was a bit low ,so the doctor called in some extra suppositories for me i got home looked at the instructions .....insert one capsule per vagina every night!!!
hahahhaa how many vaginas am i suppose to have? or am i to go around giving them to all the females i know??...lol

I am not going to take another test until tomorrow morning. However, I did have some spotting yesterday evening, anyone else experiene this and if so, what was the outcome? My RE tells me that it is normal to have spotting and cramping from the time of the IVF to the time of the bets test. I have not heard of anyone else on here expereincing this as well.

I'm glad to see there is not much talk about the medications. I'm always concerned w/ taking meds. I just stopped Estrodial when I got my menses and tomorrow I go for bloodwork & ultra sound to start my meds for my 1st IVF cycle. I'll know more tomorrow on what my dosage of Follistim to start. I was curious to know how many days of meds before retrieval?

Hi, I am new to this forum and I hope its not too late . We are currently going through our first IVF/ICSI cycle after one failed IUI and one cancelled.

I'm on an antagonist protocol and my ER is tomorrow. I have about 15 follicles. No side effect so far apart from feeling bloated. Another thing is I feel some pain on the right side. I guess I can feel the eggs fighting for space.

Baby dust to you all and I hope we can share experiences and celebrate our BFPs together .

annpage - Welcome! I ws on follistm 250 and menopur for 12 days. I beleive that most people are proba bly only on it for 10 days but my RE wanted 2 more days of growth. Good luck to you!

dawgs, spotting is actually normal as long as it's minimal. Sometimes it happens when the embryo implants...so it could be really good news. Hope so.

The spotting is minimal, I guess? I have only had to wear a panty liner. The spotting is still there today and it is only on the liner with the prometrium, sorry if tmi. I am hoping that it is just implantation bleeing or that it could be from the prometrium taht I have to take three times a day, 200MG. I am just freaked out because I always start to spot a few days before af. I talekd with the nurse and she said this is normal and that they are not worried about it at all. I think I will wait until Thursday, if I can, to POAS again.

I got my first beta results yesterday and they said 'I was pregnant and my numbers are high (205 on day 10)..dont know wat that means..i gave my second beta today and havent heard back yet.

Ladies - A big fat congratulations to all the BFP's and ppl in the 2ww period, hang in there..it is the most difficult phase. I thought the injections and medications werent as painful as the 2ww.
And good luck to everyone who is starting ur cycle. This forum is an amazing place to come together and understand what every body goes through.

zitinia- well your morning urine will contain the most concentrated levels of hcg so most people prefer poas in the a.m however i poas last friday first thing in the morning and then went to walgreens and got another hpt and used it in the middle of the afternoon and thats the one that was positive ... i guess when your levels are high enough they just are!!! good luck ...i hope you get bfp soon
as far as feelings in my 2ww nothing really here in these last 2 days though i have been having tingleing and slight cramping in my uterous and im already getting hungry alot!!! i was actually worried cuz i didnt feel any different but boy i sure do now!!!

and as you can see june is a super lucky month for this we have a bunch of bfp,s already and all the betas seem to be coming back extra high. we have a sticky baby dust blizzard going on here in our june room!!!!

I decided I didn't want to wait any longer, and I scheduled my first beta for tomorrow, and kept the second appointment for Friday. Tomorrow will be 14dp retrieval, and 9dp transfer. I go in at 10:30, and will anxiously be awaiting the confirmation!! I then have a follow up meeting with the RE next Tuesday (they said it will be a half hour). This is something they do with either a BFP or BFN result. Has anyone else had to do this?
