June Cycle Buddies!

Retrieval went great this morning. I was really hoping that after the retrieval some of the discomfort would be gone- but they informed me that after they remove the eggs, all the sacs fill up with fluid....so a few more days of this I guess. Good news- they retrieved 13 eggs!! The embryologist said 10 or 11 were mature and the other 2 may be mature by later tonight. I start the prednisone, and doxycycline tonight, and then add the Progesterone shots back starting tomorrow. The Transfer is scheduled for 2:30 on Friday. Sooooo excited.

Congrats again to everyone that keeps getting a BFP. This chat must be good luck, so hopefully it trickles down to everyone in their 2ww or about to start their 2ww.

Yay, blair! Good amount of mature follies! I am wondering why some RE's have us take the steroids before retrieval and some do after the retrieval. I am already on it and have been since thursday...so weird. I hope you get some good embie reports the next few days. I bet you are excited! How did your E2 numbers end up before your retrieval, that will also affect how much fluid you take on these next couple days. Eat lots of protein it will help absorb some of it.

I am not sure what my E2 levels ended up at. At the office I go to they have never told me the E2 numbers. I guess I could call and ask just to get an idea though. If I don't hear back from the office by 1p tomorrow I am supposed to call back anyway, so I can ask then. So anxious to find out the results. As long as we end up with a few good ones I will be thrilled.

blairwh58- That's great news and numbers. Hopefully almost all will be mature for you. I had more cramping this time than last retrieval. I hope the prednisone doesn't keep you awake. I am a BIG nap person and while taking that drug.....I didn't get one nap. BUT I did today, woohoo! Good luck to you!!!!

I heard from my RE office today and they informed me that I have one of two embryos which made it to freezing. Which my NP was saying that is great news since my last IVF attempt had five embryos and NONE of them made it to freezing stage. So she is saying that this could be a good indication that these embryos (including the 3 I transferred) may be better quality than last attempt. Fingers crossed. I am so glad bedrest is up and I could go to work today. Ready to start hpt but I know it is too soon. Can't wait til 6/30!

blair - congrats on your ER, fingers crossed for your fert report!

well i triggered tonight, ER on Thu. so excited. my e2 was 2,000 today - is that high risk for OHSS? i had 18 follies over 15 mm on mon, hope they are all mature by thu... grow follies grow!!

First of all a big congratulation to all those who got BFPs. Its very encouraging to read through your stories. I am glad to have found this forum. I am having my retrieval today and I am extremely nervous .
blairwh58 - congratulations 13 eggs is really good and i hope all of them will mature. Are you having a 3 day or 5 day transfer?
Kywildcat - Thats great news that one embryo made it to freezing. I am sure its a good sign. Prepare yourself for triplets

I am doing a 3 day Transfer and it is scheduled for Friday afternoon @ 2:30. I am hoping for a good fertilization report today.

hi ladies,
so its official, BFP! beta results came back yesterday. first beta-39, second beta-127. first ultrasound scheduled for 3 weeks. we told our parents and they are thrilled, already planning baby showers.

It has been a great experience sharing this journey with you ladies. thank you for the support. it was a process full of mixed emotions. it was comforting to have women like you to help me get through it all. you all have been fabulous. welcome to all the newcomers. and lots of sticky baby dust to those on 2ww.

Im sooooo excited to announce that the NP just called to let me know the fertilization results. Of the 13 eggs that were retrieved, all 13 were fertilized!!! She said that these are great, and unheard of results. I am so excited about it I cant stop crying. I know this is just a sign of great things to come with the transfer on friday.

I had my egg retrieval this morning and we got 16... We thought I would get about 8. So far so good and hope many of them will fertilise

Byrnme - Thanks for adding me to the list. Looks like we're testing on the same day! My BW is scheduled for 7:30 am and I should know sometime that afternoon. What time is your appt scheduled for?

Big news everyone - I woke up super early this morning with only one thing on my mind. I got up quietly, so not to disturb DH, and took a HPT test. Well, it only showed one line. Negative. I was heartbroken but I just went back to bed. When I got up a couple of hours later, it remember that the test said that it wasn't accurate until the day of your missed period. (Not much help there.) So I went back to the test strip and what do you know, a little faint pink line was there! OMG!!!! I'm not sure what to think but I'm hoping that its accurate. I'm thinking about using one of those digital ones tomorrow morning that's accurate up to five days before your missed period. What do you guys think? Arug, these next two days are going to be torture!

Wow this sounds like a good month to be on!! I'm so happy to hear of all the good news!!
I just got instructions on starting my cycle 450iu of follistim & 15units of Low dose HCG. I may be going for egg retrieval by the end of this month. Excited & nervous.

Blair - That's great news on your retrieval. Are you feeling better? I'm so nervous for the retrieval. How did the procedure go? Good luck on Friday!!

Hi Ladies...I have been off the board for a couple days as I have been really nervous! But got great news a few mins ago my Beta went up to 462 WOOOHOOO!!!! So excited!!!! I really can't believe I finally got a BFP after so long of trying!!!! Thanks ladies for all your support I definitely couldn't have gotten this far without you!!!!!

Millersmommy - I am praying for you....I am sure your numbers will be great!!!!
