annpage- Its definitely going to be a great month. I was on 100 IU of follistim with the failed IUI in May and ended up with 6 follicles, and for this IVF we did 175 IU to get the 13 follicles. The retrieval wasnt bad at all. They did the IV, walked me back to the room, and that was about all I remember. I have always had cyst/ovulation pain, so since there were so many follicles I have been uncomfortable for awhile now. I am still uncomfortable but its getting better.

Now Im just anxiously awaiting Fridays Transfer and a weekend of movie marathons.

hi Ladies,

sorry no personals i have to get back to work soon, but i took an hpt today and there is a very faint second line!!! I'm 5dp5dt FET so I'm hoping it will get darker. I'm hoping its not just an evaporation line or anything, its really faint but there. ohhhh please god please let this be. Congrats to all of the BFP!!!

We have lots of updates today!!

Daisymae- I made an appointment for today for my first beta. It was near impossible to wait! And you are supposed to go for the 2nd beta two days later, and we would be out of town for a wedding. So I am anxiously awaiting the phone call to hopefully confirm a BFP!!

dys24- CONGRATULATIONS!! I have taken enough pregnancy tests to know that even a faint line is a great thing!! The line will get darker!!

BLAIR-wow that is unheard of 13 out of 13!!! im sure you are just soo happy,congrats.

DAISYMAY- congrats!!! woohoo how exciting to see that much awaited faint line....if i were you i would run right out and grab a digital to pee on,hahaha....there is not many things as sweet as seeing that stick say the word PREGNANT!! it takes your breath away.fyi mine showed positive in the middle of the day!!!

TDF- congrats!!! im soo happy your numbers doubled wwhhheeewww i know it is the most scary of times waiting for that call ...well im still waiting..uuggghhh..im so happy for you and that is a super number.. fyi..my nurse said 217 is high for 10 days ,twins might be a possibility...so yours was higher than that...maybe we will be blessed with a bogo...haha


DYS- congrats!!! a faint line is a line anyway you looka at it !!! bfp...bfp!!!! i would run out and get a digital!!!

I am dying to test!! I went to the store yesterday and bought some HPT's and they are calling my name! There is no way I can wait til the beta on Monday. I thought I would be able to hold out but I think buying them so early was the mistake!! Maybe starting tomorrow isn't so bad, right???? I feel like an addict wanting a fix! heheehe
There have been so many lucky ladies on this site and I hope to continue the luck...

millersmommy - thanks I will admit that I was very scared and nervous...although now I am still nervous hoping my scan next week goes well!!! I am very nervous that this all goes well!!! Hoping you get your results soon and that your levels are good!!!! Really?? My nurse didn't say anything I would be so blessed if I had twins!!!!! Now I will be hoping for that LOL!!! Do you know when they can tell....can they tell next week in the scan?

Question for you ladies who haven gotten the BFP's - has it sunk in that you are pregnant. I mean I know they told me but it hasn't sunken in yet!!!! Think I have wanted it so long that now that it has happened I am still in shock or something LOL!!! Its weird I don't know! Sorry while I am at it I have another question, I am planning on a trip to FL on July 3rd - do you ladies think it is safe to fly? My nurse said as long as I feel ok and am not bleeding I should be OK to fly....just wondering what you ladies think? If it would negatively affect my BPF I will reschedule for sure!!!!

HSPIGGY- as a former hpt addict myself i say go for it girl!!! the way i look at it we have already spent soo much ,whats another 20 here and there! haha im an enabler...the hpt pusher,hahaha .

TDF- yes my nurse said they look for and count the yolk sacs on the first scan !!! so we will know soon.i remember with Miller it was one perfect little black circle! ...im still waiting with the phone on my lap ugggghh
asfm with Miller it really didnt sink in even though all the signs were there till the second trimester when the belly was larger to rub and then comes the magical feeling of butterflies in your tummy....the baby moving, for me thats when it really sank in...im really going to finally have a baby!!!
personally i think any chance you get to relax is all the better for you,just enjoy your vacation being preggo(and hunting down baby shops)! i took a few trips pregnant with Miller and all went well.
i know how you feel though us ivfers double think everything.

I just heard from the nurse and she confirmed my BFP!! Today I am 9dp5dt and my number was 313. I go back on Friday, and she said it should be around 600!! My first u/s is scheduled for July 6, 2 days past our second anniversary. That would make for a great present! I am thrilled about everything and now waiting for DH to get home from work to share the great news

Hspiggy- I did my first HPT 5dp5dt and it was negative. But on 6dt5dt it was positive!! Not sure if that helps. If the first time you do it it doesn't work, don't let it ruin your whole day. Chances are it is just too soon to test. GOOD LUCK!! Keep us posted!

TDF- I know what you mean about it not sinking in yet. I just keep waiting for it all to be true... first beta, second beta, u/s... Maybe hearing the heartbeat will make it real! I can't give any info on Flying. I am scheduled to go somewhere at the end of July, so let me know what you find out.

millersmommy - thanks, glad to hear I am not the only one!!!! Maybe once I see the sac it might be more real, but I think it won't be until I hear the little heartbeat! I can't wait for the scan next week...we are always counting down!!!! The 9 month count down will be a longer one though but worth it all the way!!! I hope they call you soon!!!!! Can't wait to hear the good news!!!!

byrnme - CONGRATS!!! So happy for you and 313 that is a GREAT #!!!!!!! I know think the heartbeat might make this all more real!!!!!! Well my nurse said its ok, and I have done some searches online and they said it should be ok. Will let you know what else I find out!

What a busy busy board today! Lots of good news, so I will chime in and give my congratulations to you all who are getting such great news!

I have an appointment to check how my follies are doing today, and have more labs drawn. Looks like I will be closing the month out with one of the last retrievals. I'm starting to feel these ovaries getting large. Hope all is looking good today.

blair, great job on growing some strong follies, 13 retrieved and 13 fertilized is awesome!

TDF & Millersmommy & Narly2000 - congrats on your 1st and 2nd betas...they sound great. And no, TDF, it has not sunk in that I'm pregnant. Probably won't until my first scan...that is what made it real for me last time. I saw a HB and started to cry.

Bluemoon and Byrnme - congrats on your 1st beta number. So far everyone has had pretty high numbers. We all just might be having twins...

Annpage - I stimmed for 11 days.

Hspiggy - POAS....POAS...I am also a HPT pusher

Mellow - sounds like you have quite a few follies growing...good luck.

Dawg - I got my BFP (on both cycles) on day 9 from egg retrieval. But that is really early and most people don't get their BFPs that earlier...hang in there and sending baby dust your way.

Zitinia - during the 2ww I get cramping, just like AF is coming...but both times I was pregnant.

Dinagin - 16 eggs...that is awesome...good luck on transfer. When will you be doing ET?

Blair - OMG...13 eggs and all fertilized...never heard of that happening. You are one lucky lady. Have you considered doing a 5dt? That would allow the RE to have a better idea which ones are the best ones to transfer.

Kywildcat - yay, you have a frostie!!!

Julia - good luck on your ER tomorrow.

I hope I didn't forget anyone...our June group really has grown...it is great.

AFM - I went in for my "official" beta yesteday. I wasn't sure if I would tell the clinic about my other two betas I got behind their back. But when they called me, they already knew. They had called the lab to get my beta and was suprised to learn of the other ones and the nurses were making bets to see if I would "fess up". They did think it was a little funny. Anyways this new beta was 2,337. If I had not gotten the early betas, then I am sure I would have passed out as soon as I heard the number...but b/c of the other ones then I was prepared. I asked the nurse about a molar pregnancy and she said the beta would be much higher and of course they suspect twins (or possibly more if one of them split...yikes). She said they hope the numbers will be at least 100-200 on the first beta day...and was really surpised to see mine in the thousands...I guess we will find out in exactly 2 weeks. Too bad I don't know how to sneak an early U/S, because you know I would do it if I could.. So, my due date is Feb. 26, 2011 and I already know it is going to be a very, very long 8 months.

Thank god it went up to 495..however my progesterone is still low so another beta on friday!!!!
