June Cycle Buddies!

Hi everyone - I've been keeping up reading everyones posts but haven't been writing. My beta is scheduled for monday 28th. I might POAS @ the end of this week. My other 2 cycles I was always dying to POAS, but this is our last try so I don't want to know the answer, well only if it is a good outcome, LOL !!!. Last cycle I was pregnant and my beta #'s dropped with the second beta. I guess I'm just nervous and have some apprehension to finding out my answer. I did transfer 3 embryos on day #3, so I would hope one would stick. Spread some of that BABY DUST my way. OMG, Ive been on several posts and this one is very lucky so far, hope it continues for the rest of us. I've been having some nausea, and can go to sleep anytime, cause I'm soooo tired. I have been having some weird twinges in my tummy, both upper and lower. It is so weird but I hope that means the little embies stuck around. I did go to the DR this monday to get my lining check which was really thick which was good I was told. I have been having some problems with the IM progesterone. I had a hematoma on my butt It was really big and was swollen. So, now I have to do suppositories every other day. Then my good side got all swollen too. So, we used my hematomaside which I think is healed now, I hope I never do well with these injections. My first fresh I had an allergic reaction to the sesame oil and broke out in huge hives all over my butt, I had to go on steroids for a couple of weeks. So, now I use cotton seed oil, which seemed to be working well. Well, have to get DD from preschool, and go stare @ the mommies with all their big tummies. All mothers are pregnant with their oldest in preschool, I swear !!!!

I'm really trying not to be frustrated, but...my ultrasound today shows 2 follicles that are 15 and 16mm, and the rest (12) are 12 and 13mm. I hope they are going to catch up, and why are they so small!! I've never had this happen before. Still waiting on the labs from yesterday, and now the ones from today. Hoping the e2 shows things are better than it seems.

Mellow- I am sure that the other follies will catch up and you will end up with 14 good ones. When are they thinking your retrieval will be?

Jenice- Good Luck. Surely one of those 3 babies is hanging in there and you will end up with great results. Stay positive for now.

Everyone else congrats on BFP, good luck in 2ww. I am anxious for tomorrows transfer and scheduled a massage for right before it(I was told by a friend who did 6 IVFs that it was best to help you relax).

Hi ladies Gate Crasher here

Popping in to wish my old cycle buddy Jenice the very best of luck on Monday i know how hard you have tried for your 2nd little miracle and have never given up even after your m/c. Please God all those twinges are your little one snuggling in tight, i always had period type pains and they have only eased off since i finished my crinone at 17 wks! and now i have all other types of aches and pains i truly dont believe us ivfers will ever relax until we hold our precious little miracle.

Best of luck to everyone on this board and what a lucky board it seems to be!!! For those of you who still dont believe you are pregnant i am nearly 20 wks pg and still dont believe it, i keep saying maybe after my next scan yeah right i will be in the middle of labour and still questioning if its true Keep the faith girls even if its not your time, it was 7th time lucky (Please God) for me, some of us just take a bit longer.

Hi Ladies

My name is Anna and I am new and in desperate need of a support group. Hubby and I have been married for 3 years and ttc for 28 months. We have both always dreamed of big families and this has been a very sad journey for us-4 failed iui's and now this is our first IVF. So here I am an emotional wreck...I started the stims on Mon and went in today for a check up and my estrogen has not risen at all...so RE doubled my dose of stims and removed Lupron completly.... Please somebody advise...anyone heard of this.....I feel so upset with this whole process.

PS I am 28 no probs (1 child naturally from previous marriage)

Annashope- Don't let all this get you frustrated. We have been married 2 1/2 years and ttc since Oct 2008. We have had 3 failed IUIs and this is our first IVF. We knew after about 9 months of trying since we are both relatively young(me-25, DH- 29), that something had to be wrong. DH ended up having bilateral varicocelectomy in Aug 2009, and I ended up having the laparoscopy/hysteroscopy after 2 failed IUIs. Just try to keep your head up- maybe you just needed a little extra stimming.

My labs came back finally. This is the weirdest thing for me. I have never responded this way. My e2 level yesterday was 487, and today it is 773. I don't know if this is good or bad. All I know is, it's very different than what I had happen in my past cycles. I go in Saturday morning now to take a look and see when they will have me trigger. It actually rose more in less than 24 hours than it did in 48 from the time before, I hope that is a good sign.

Anyway, thinking of you all, and praying for more good news to this board!

Gi - You made me Thanks for crashing in and the well wishes, I remember us cycling together. How time flies. Before you know it you will be holding your baby in your arms, I am soooo happy for you !!!!! Enjoy every precious moment you so deserve this I'm getting nervous, I don't even want to POAS that is when you know it is bad I think this will be our last try, I'll be crushed if it fails this cycle. I know I tried my best to have another, even switched DR and everything I think went well. I just want to enjoy my DD and the hormones and all the driving back and forth affects her, then I feel guilty for not feeling well. I've been TTC 3 years now, I just hope it wasn't all for nothing. Well, A sort of bad/good thing happened I'm allergic to the IM INJECTIONS,YAY !!!!! So, I was taken off them and can only do suppositories now. No more needles = Priceless

Jenice - I kinda of wish I had an allergic reaction to the PIO...b/c my butt really hurts right now and I still have 6 weeks to go. I'm not sure I can make it that far.

Dinagin and Blair - good luck on your transfers tomorrow, I will be thinking of the two of you.

Hspiggy - don't give up hope yet, it is still early.

AFM - I had my last beta and it was 5,521...it must be twins!!

Well I have POAS the past couple of mornings and it is a BFN . I keep telling myself maybe it is still too early. This was a FET cycle for me. The embryos were frozen on Day 6. My transfer was around 4 pm last Friday.. so is there still hope. I guess today would be 7dp6dt. Did someone say earlier on this board that FET cycles usually had lower beta numbers?

mellow - my e2 was 3,000 on trigger day (it went 300, 700, 1200, 2000 and 3000).

lisa - congrats on big beta numbers!!

jenice & lisa - have you thought of doing the progesterone inserts instead of PIO? they are messy but at least, no shots and no red bumps!

annahope - welcome!

millermommy - i had low prog last time too, and my RE increased my dosage twice. increasing the dosage did not make any difference (my bloodwork kept coming back w/ the same level, even after we increased prometirum & added 1 more insert per day) but i read online that grapefruit increased absorption of certain medicine (incl. progesterone) so i started drinking 2 glasses of grapefruit juice a day and that increased my prog. level A LOT. maybe that would do the trick for you too?

afm - ER was yesterday, went well, they got 22 eggs and we are anxiously awaiting our fert report. i did not have too much pain yesterday but slept pretty much all day, that anesthesia really kicked my butt! we had 21 eggs in our first cycle so it's pretty much in line w/ this cycle - we had good fert last time (18 embies from our 21 eggs) but poor embryo quality and very few developed to day 5 (on day 5 we had no blasts, just 7 little morulas). so i know i won't be relieved til ET when we know how many actually make it to day 5...

Well I am now on 8 vials a day of Menopur and off of Lupron entirely. Will check levels on Sunday and see what happens. Thanks everyone for the advice I am just trying to hang in there now until sunday

just got our fert report - out of our 22 eggs, 20 were mature, 17 fertilized. i'll get another update on sun on our embies are developing, the ET will be on tue.
