I believe that these 2 are important.
1.Stay away from cold food and drinks (except fruit) if you want to get pregnant.
2. Stay relaxed and inactive in 2ww after ET.
Chinese traditional medicine believes that eating and drinking cold stuff makes the uterus cold and thus reduce the chance the embryo attaches to the uterus. Believe it or not?
I believe it.
My clinic always told me there is no research to support that moving less would lead to a higher success rate. They alway told me that a relaxed and happy mood statistically predicts better chance.
There is no harm to reduce the activity level for at least the first 7 days after transfer. I did so everytime except the first time. May be I am such a lazy person I feel most relaxed sitting or laying down reading or watching TV or videos.
I went hiking for 3-4 hours about 10 days after the first ET. The result was BFN. I blamed the hiking. So I kept inactive after all the other 3 ETs. I did get back to work after 4 days after ET and played with my daughter after the 3rd and 4th ET. I refrained from vigorous movements.
I still believe that staying inactive in 2ww did matter.
Even after one is pregnant, most people, like me, need a lot of rest in the first trimester. My sister and my friend saved their foetus by bed rest in the first few weeks of their pregnancy.
Just want to share my experience and wish that more people will get want they want.
Wish you success!
