Millersmom- just remember we are all behind you. Hopefully its nothing and just regualr bleeding that can occur. Let us know what they say.

Embryologist just called and said they froze 6 embryos. She said they looked great and acted like it was a good result. I wasn't sure how many are usually freezeable after the fertilization. Hoping that at least 1 of the 2 we transfered is sticking in there (even though 2 would be perfectly fine too).

Just checking to find out how you gals are doing. 3 days past ET and I am busy paying attention to any signs/movements etc... I am back at work hence was kept busy today. I Still feel bloated and have some back pains. Still a long way to testing ....

I am sorry to hear about you bleeding millersmommy. I am crossing my fingers and praying for you that everything goes well. Keep the faith and as hard as it maybe... try to relax.

Hi, ladies,
I have enjoyed reading all of your stories, but never had the "guts" to post, but now I just need some advice. I had my retrieval on June 17th and a day 5 transfer of one full blast and one blastocyst. This is our second IVF cycle. The first ended in a m/c and I had to have a fibroid removed afterwards.

My question is what kind of symptoms did you have in your 2ww? I have my first beta on Friday, July, 2nd. I have had cramps (not horrible, more of a nuisance), headaches, and a little spotting. The spotting has been when I wipe, never on a pad. Sorry if that is TMI.

I guess I'm just really concerned about the spotting. I feel like I do when I get my period and that makes me scared to death!
Any advice or experiences that you give, I definitely appreciate!

I went to RE for my beta # which is 324 @ 14dp3dt. It seems like a really good # I think. Does that sound high ? I'm not sure if that is the norm or if that is a little high ? We transferred 3 embies this time, so just wondering with those numbers could there be twins ?

I put your beta http://into betabase.info and for 17 DPO for a singleton is 293 so you;re a bit over that - but you know darn well that nothing means anything but the u/s. I'm so happy for you I know you had a long journey - ahem, pucker up hon

Jenice - YEY!! CONGRATS!!! IMHO I would think it is a singleton. My friend got a BFP 14dp3dt and her beta was 460. I have seen others on the same day be as high as 570 and that was still a singleton. You still have a really good beta #.

hilda - welcome! I also had slight cramps while on my 2 ww...no bleeding but I have read on here many ladies who do have light spotting and its normal. Good luck to you and stay positive!!!!

thank you for all the prayers n warm thoughts.. i just got back from the doctor and he didnt see anything really on th u/s he said it could just be too early and so they did my betas and will call me tomorow after 3 and tell me if it has dropped or if its where it should be...i just feel like i didnt get anywhere i still am so confused all my questions were not answered why would i be bleeding like that ? the only thing i know is to wait till tomorrow .if i didnt m/c wouldnt they have seen a yolk sack by now ..he looked and looked and saw nothing i just dont understand. i just dont know if i can do this all again ,i know i have to if it is a m/c i just had such a hard time with the extreme ohss and then the d and c then having to take the chemo pills ..it was just miserable .i will be totally willing to go through it all again for a baby but the main thing now is just the money its 10,000 just to start and meds not including the after care does any one know of a good insurance that would cover ivf or atleast some of it ... i cannot give up on this becouse of money

Millersmommy don't give up hope yet. I have heard of people bleeding during pregnancy and still carried perfectly to term. As for the ins...I could use help with that as well. Mine covers nothing and so we have already spent more than 4 thousand on meds and I am not done stimulating so some monetary support would be helpful. I live in PA and I heard that in NJ insurance covers IVF but who wants to move. Anyways we will keep you in our thoughts and keep up the faith. It is possible that it is too early to see a sac. One of my friends was 6 weeks pregnant and there was not a visible sac
