Dawgs & Hspiggy - I am sorry for your bfns and I pray that it will work for you in the future.

Mellow - My first IVF I had only 6 fertilized and one turned into my son. This time only had 4 fertilized and I'm pregnant. I had to keep telling myself that it only takes one, and it does!! But if they are all looking good tomorrow, then you should be allowed to do a 5 day transfer...they should work around your schedule and not theirs.

Congrats to those who had some of their embies make it to freezing...I couldn't remember which ladies...I hadn't checked board in awhile and it was too much to remember.

Good luck for all those in your 2ww...may the good luck this board has seen keep coming.

Hello,

New to the board. Been ttc for over 28 months. In day 8 of my first IVF cycle that's taking place in a clinic in Mexico. I have some "pressure" but I think that's the follies trying to make room. Dr says I have 11 good ones but since it's my first cycle I'm not exactly sure what that means. I guess one of my ovaries is working harder than the other. Go figure. Have some blood tests tomorrow and my husband joins me Friday. Looking forward to having him here though the rest of the process.

Good luck to everyone in all of the stages of the process that they are in. It's great that there are places we can go to to see that we are not alone.

Hi Ladies

Well some good news at last. Went to the RE today and the estrogen went from 98 to 600 in the last 3 days and the lining increased by 4 mm to 11now so now we are back on track. However RE said that it is most likely only 4-6 eggs and I was wondering if anyone have a low number of eggs and still got preg? I read this board and it seems most people get more than 15 eggs. Anyways going to check up and bw every day now and eggs all measuring 14 or 15 today so the RE says ET most likely Monday or Tues. Keeping our fingers crossed. I have now been stimulating for 10 days and noticing a lot of bloating.

How many of you ladies got daily updates on your embryos before your transfer?

I am feeling better today than I did yesterday, thankfully! The fanny feels a bit like I was kicked and left with a big ole charlie horse. haha. The PIO didn't hurt at all going in, but today, holy cow! My stomach has been doing flips since yesterdays procedure too, I think I'm nervous or something. What a weird feeling.

What plans do you all have for this holiday weekend?

Its been a while since i posted, its been just a crazy week. still getting used to the idea of being pregnant, I laugh and cry. been having morning sickness, still cramping but not as intense as the 2ww. im 5weeks, 2 days and my first u/s is scheduled for 7-12-10 which seems like forever.

Byrnme, Ziitnia, Dandme, Daisy and Jenice--Congrats to you all on your BFP's!!!! that is awesome.

Millersmommy-just caught up on your posts, so sorry that you are going through this. i am praying that everything goes well for you tomorrow at your u/s. high beta and bleeding stopped is a great sign. continue to be positive. we are all thinking about you.

hspiggy and dawg- many prayers your way for your next cycles. keep trying...

annashope- I had 30 follies and high e2 levels, everything was looking good. then my e2 levels were checked the day of my scheduled trigger. levels had went way down. RE said it was rare and had only seen one case and she was sure my eggs were collapsing. i was told by RE that i could stop and start over or try but my chances of maybe 3 eggs to be retrieved. i believed in my heart and in God that it would work, so my husband and i went for it. they retrieved 3 eggs and 2 were immature. left with one mature egg, it fertilized and now i am 5 weeks pregnant. IT ONLY TAKES ONE!!!!

narly- That is such an awesome story. And you are right it does just take one, I will keep that in mind this week as we wait for our embryo reports.

Annashope - I had only 5 eggs retrieved, with 4 being mature, 2 of which looked good at day 5...and now I''m pregnant! I never thought it would work with so few eggs...so it only does take one good one.

Hi all,
I have been TTC for 3 years and have never seemed to be able to bring myself to seek company from people in the same boat. After 3 failed (1 fresh, 2 frozen) cycles I have decided I need some support from others going through the same process. I have had a 6 month break from my last attempt and had a FET on 28th June. I feel a little more relaxed this time although seem to be getting strange stabbing pains on my left hand side periodically. Has anyone else had that?

I am also seeing a new Dr this time who seems to be pretty casual in his approach. I am only on progesterone pessaries and will only need 2 hcg injections in the next 2 weeks. This is very different from my previous cycles where I was on several different meds and injections. Will be interesting to see if this 'natural' style approach works!

I love the idea of having a buddy. Anyone else have their transfer on the same day?

kate- welcome. There are lots of ladies on here that provide great support during such a stressful process. Its nice to have people going through the same thing.

Narly- congrats again on your BFP. It does stink that they are making you wait until 7.12.10 to have your first U/S....but surely that wait wont be as bad as the 2ww.

mellow- I still feel bloated and Im not sure if its just all the stimming or what...but today makes 6dp3dt and I dont feel normal. Im hoping this wierd feeling is because Im pregnant....but I guess I still need to wait a few more days before I start POAS. I didn't get daily updates on our embryos between the retrieval and the transfer. As much as I wanted to call and check on my babies, I decided not to.

annashope- Great news!!! Even 4-6 eggs is enough to make a baby so stay positive. I will keep my fingers crossed for an ET early next week!

Marny- Welcome to the board. One of my ovaries worked a lot harder than the other one too. I ended up with 8 on the Left and 5 on the Right. Im glad things are working out for you on this cycle, and im glad your husband gets to join you tomorrow.

As for everyone else- congrats on BFP (I cant say that enough), and hope you are surviving the 2ww. I feel like the days are dragging on so slowly. I still have another 7 days before my 1st beta...and its already killing me. I want to POAS so badly but know its probably wayyyy too early. Im thinking maybe 4th of July would be a good day to try our first HPT? That would make me 9dp3dt....any suggestions?

Thank you so much ladies for all your kind words and stories which truly did cheer me up and gave me hope. We are staying positive and after today's check up we were told that we will be triggering today or tomorrow so ET will be Sat or Sun. Very excited now and a bit nervous. Will know for sure when we are triggering when the RE calls by 2pm. As it looks now we have 4 possibly 5 (the fifth one is 14 today so it may be immature. Anyways keeping fingers and toes crossed Hopefully we are on our way to having our own magical story and thanks again so much for all your support and sharing your stories with me.

RE let me test one day early. It is a BFN for me. I had POAS over the weekend and it was negative so I didn't have much hope. I think emotionally I have 1 more fresh cycle left in me (if husband agrees).

I can't help but be a little sad but I am also grateful for the DS I have. He is my pride and joy.

Hi all - just wanted to give a quick update...went for my first scan today and they saw my one little bean!!!!! Even saw the heartbeat flickering on the screen!!! I really didn't see it but the Dr did!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
