Hi ladies,

I feel pretty down. AF arrived this morning :( :( . Its not very heavy but I can feel that it's just a matter of time before full blow out. Talked to my RE this morning...he advised to continue taking the meds and see him tomorrow.

Hilda sorry to hear about your beta dropping. I know its not easy to accept such news but i believe its just a matter of time. We will all hold our babies one day. Its just a matter of time. Wishing you all the every best for your next cycle.

Blair dear- I hope your blood test will come back positive. With a positive digital and sticks... things are looking good :) Please keep us updated.

Lisa- wow Congratulations. What a wonderful blessing...two babies at once :) please spread the baby dust to all of us.

Blue - One step at a time. It sounds like identical twins to me. Wishing you all the very best and will remember you in my prayers.

lisa & zidinia - congrats on twins, that's so exciting!!! has it sunk in yet? how high was your first beta?

bluemoon - congrats on twins, thinking of you and good luck for your nxt u/s. could you have one sac but just be identical twins and not mono amniotic? i'll be thinking of you.

dinagin - i am sorry to hear you started spotting. is it possible it could be implentation bleeding?

hilda - sorry about your beta dropping. do you know what your nxt setp will be??

annahope - congrats on transferring 2 perfect embies!!

mellow - wow, earthquakes sound scary.. are you in CA? hope all is well in the 2ww.

blair - i have been thinking of you all day, fingers crossed for your beta.

annpage - beta is the blood test that measures your HCG level, it's the bloodwork pregancy test. i am not even sure why it's called beta. you probably would not have any symptoms this early post transfer, except some progesterone symptoms (sore boobs, frequent urination, sleepiness and constipation). some women on these boards have talked about "pulling" sensations and mild cramping. isn't it so hard not to try to read your body for symptoms? i drove myself crazy analzying every little thing i felt in my body, though i know it's way too early to be having symptoms. i tihnk m/s starts at 6-8 weeks.

afm - we're pregnant!!! beta at 14dpo (9dp5dt) was 176. this thread was my lucky charm. my progesterone was over 60 so no worries there (last time i could not get it higher than 10 even when i was bathing in progesterone supplements). i can't believe it!! going back nxt wed for my second beta. i am so excited!!! DH took the call and he is just so excited he just want to tell the world.

MD called and said the bloodwork came back positive, but that my HCG levels were really low. They were only 36, which could mean either the pregnancy didnt take, or it was a later implantation. Of course at this point I am thinking the worst and that the pregnancy didnt take. She said my progesterone levels were good, but we will retest Saturday to see which of those options is happening. Since Im going on Saturday I wont get the results back until Monday morning. So its going to be a very long and stressful weekend for me.

julia- congrats!!!

blair - 36 is not a bad number, my RE says anything over 30 is a good number. my beta in my first pregnancy was 42 and i worried about the number being too low so posted a question to ghost and got plenty of responses from mothers of heathy babies with low first betas. PMA PMA PMA. i'll be thinking of you all weekend.

Thanks for the positive thoughts. I am trying to stay as positive as I can, but its so hard to do right now. I guess I dont want to get excited and then be let down on Monday. It just stinks because I was so excited after the digital test said pregnant. Trying to stay positive and hope that the betas are a lot better on Saturday.

DINAGIN- i had some massive bleeding and turned out ok for me so i did ALOT of research as most of us ladies on here do and seems like bleeding is very comon in early pregnancy and as long as there is no cramping to go with it...you should be fine. i know its hard but try not to worry.

blair- 36 is a good number remember its not really the first one but the second thats most important......come one blairs numbers double !!
hope you all are doing well i havent been able to post much in last few days however i do read yalls posts religeously<<<<not how u spell it i know ,but its pregnancy brain..lol i have been getting it quite often latley. i call my hubby idk how many times a day and say i forgot why i called.
well my appt.is at 9 a.m to check for heartbeat and then i believe thats it im released to a regular ob...so nervouse becouse all the bleeding before, just want to see that little babies heartbeat.

well congrats to you all and we will be hearing good news soon from some of you ...and also congrats to lisa and zitinia on your buy one get one free baby...lol how lucky!!!

Still trying to hold out for good numbers tomorrow. Of course I have been reading on every website possible about low Hcg levels and what the average is. The positive thing I found was that the American Pregnancy Association listed Hcg levels as
4 weeks pas LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml ....so fingers crossed that things turn around.

On another note, does anyone know how to get rid of huge knots from the Progesterone injection? I have a golf ball sized knot on the left hip which is pretty uncomfortable.

blair - check out the numbers on betabase.info, you'll see how big the range is for singletons and twins. they base everything on days post ovulation so ER for us. the range is ENORMOUS, and all were successful pregnancies.

Hey all~

What day of your cycles did you get your BFP's? I tested this morning and it was negative, but I know it's still early, I was just hoping we may get lucky, not so much. I am trying to remain positive about it, but I have zero symptoms, really nothing. I am 6dp4dt today.

Hope you are all having a good day!

mellow - I faced the same issue. no symptoms for 5 to 7 days and a couple of bfn's..wen i lost hope and used my last hpt for the ultimate test on day 8(8dp5dt), it was positive..Just hang in there..some women have symptoms and many dont..nothing is conclusive till the last minute.

Thank you all you ladies for ur kind words. I ll take it one at a time...as the doc said, 6 weeks is really too early to detect or diagnose anything....will see how it goes..
