Katie - At this point I hope he stays in there too. That is how I felt when it came closer to the surgery date. I was so close that I didn't care for any surprises, just a for sure thing that resulted in the birth of the babies, not well, lets wait and see. lol So close, you are almost there! I really thought there would be something dramatic about this birth, but I suppose the drama is yet to come? Hoepfully it isn't something like a c-section! Lets hope that he isn't THAT subborn! So Tuesday will be IT right? Just two, maybe three more days depending on when they induce you. That is just crazy! You will have your miracle in your arms and no more chasing him around... Dad will finally be able to feel every movement while holding him in his arms. Him, his, he... wow... your boy! lol Still getting use to it yourself??
Sonya - Oh how F'ing happy I am to see you comfortable with being back here! Your numbers are great! That must feel so great. By the way, your first faint line looks a lot like mine did taken on the same day. Not saying that there are two in there, but you never know.

Could be though, or it could be one very healthy strong baby letting off all kinds of HCG just to help mom feel better.
Angela - Glad you get to go to the game! That sounds like it might be fun. Take a pillow or cushion to sit on! Don't want mom to get uncomfortable!
Babyluv - I would say yes to hats if you can find some small enough to fit their little heads. We had to use the ones the hospital gives you because they were just that little. I am glad you aren't worrying yourself with the murmur. It is common in babies who aren't born yet, it is only after that we tend to worry a bit more. Even then it can go away or be corrected as you know with your other two.

You are right around the corner!!
Sara - Monday is the day! Holy cow! I can't imagine having to wait till the afternoon though. You poor thing. They should let you eat something until like 3am. lol I hope you don't have much of an issue with heartburn. I had a problem with it if I didn't eat. Then they gave me this nasty tasting stuff to take right before surgery to help with heartburn and nausea. Yeah, it tasted so bad I almost brought it back up. People kept trying to talk to me and ask me questions, I had to tell them to shut up while I gathered myself. lol If you get that stuff, drink it like a shot and BEG them if you have to, to at least have a sip of water to smoosh around in your mouth to get the remaining taste out after you swallow it. They SHOULD give in and let you have the sip. They did for me.
Ronda - So glad to see you back here checking in on us! It is always so nice to see your name here! Miss you tons and bunches! I am so sorry that you are struggling. Even though you have two, only women like us can relate to that empty feeling and urge to try again spite what others have to say. It could be the maternal instinct of yours that knows there is a sould waiting for you. I don't see how age plays much of a factor in it since it wasn't that long ago you were trying. I remember saying that I didn't want kids past 25, then it was 30, then here I am at 32 and just had twins. I changed my thought process, not just for what I wanted, but for what Andrew wanted too. If it is possible for you to try at least one more time, maybe you can do it?
Lou - Missed you lots! Sorry I can't help answer your question though. I didn't take supplements. I don't blame you for not giving up yet. It is a maternal drive we all have, it's like we can't be stopped because we know it is right there, we just have to reach out far enough to grab it! I really wish insurance would just pay for it too! We are still paying off two loans that we took out just to pay for part of it. The end result is definately worth it. You will get there too!
AFM - Andrew came home from work long enough to take the twins to their 2 week appt. He offered to let me sleep and as guilty as I felt, I took him up on it. Mostly because he didn't get home when he planned to in time to wake me up in time to get ready. I knew he could handle it just fine and he asked the same questions I would have since he had the answers when he came back.

Angelina is a healthy 6lbs even now and Ethan a wopping 7.2, my little chunky butt.

The one thing that pissed me off though is the dr said they might have taken too much ckin off his little pecker. I was so worried about this before they cut him that I tried telling the pediatrician at the hospital about it. He looked at me like I was crazy and said he would be doing it just the same as he has been. Now the f'er might have ruined it for life. We won't know until he is at least a year old. I was so upset I was bawling. After all, I read about this prior to and talked to Andrew about it, how taking too much causes it to not be able to get a full erection (so in other words, he won't be as big as he would have been without the cut) and even be painful to have an erection. Andrew thinks it will be just fine, but it sucks to even hear that they might have maimed your little boy and he might need corrective surgery later in life.

Other than that of course, they are both healthy and gaining well.
As far as Andrew's Army career, we think we have come up with a solution. He might volunteer to become a recruiter. This means he would be priority and pulled out of his unit to go recruit. This means no more f'ed up unit and command as well as no deployment this summer. However, it means packing up and moving to who the hell knows where and him working all hours. It is a three year commitment as well, but he can't deploy at all during that three years. We just have to cross our fingers and hope we don't get a place we simply can't stand. We will have no say in it at all. At this point, with his command ruining his career by not letting him get promoted, he has to make a move in some way. It is either this or warrant school. This way is faster, easier and guarantees him out of this unit. Oh, and guess what. Guess which asshole went on leave. The Commander!!! So Andrew couldn't talk to him about even compromising with his leave days, but the commander can take leave whenever he damn well pleases. What a SOB!! He just came back from leave for his ONE baby, was there for a week and took more leave. I swear I want to strangle these people. I am about to go get a shock collar and mail it to him with a stupid sign!
