CONGRATULATIONS KARIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!         Really cracked me up that you posted the fabulous results for us before you called your DH! Oh and it is possible for those embies to have split... My RE said identical twins with a fraternal triple is not unheard of... ... .. .. . . . Just some food for thought.

Lauren - How rude of that lady! You know your body and what you're dealing with. You know something's not right. Good for you! I'm glad he knows what's going on now and how to get you on the road to recovery. Hope you start feeling better soon!!! :D :D :D

Michelle - YEA FOR STIMMING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! So much is happening today...I'm pretty drugged up, so I will do my best at personals right now. lol

Lauren1171...I cant believe AF...Wow! Sooo glad that you got ahold of the doc and are on some iron and are being watched carefully now. So scary. How did the SnS go? Will everything be okay for ER, even with the iron issues?

Crystal...Congratulations on your twins!!! Wonderful news!! Oh gosh, no worries at all about the sizes being a couple of days off...perfectly normal. Zach was a singleton and always 3 days behind. Very normal. Congrats again!

Leora...Sorry I didnt post just a little bit sooner before you went off to bed...lol. My beta is also going to be Dec 16th...but you know me...I will call and have them let me do it on Monday the 13th instead at 14dpo...regardless of hpt outcome. But, I am an IVF bully and proud of it. lol  I bet they'll allow you to go on Thursday.

Ryann...I am soooo happy that you are FINALLY almost there. Woohooo!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with your dad, you, and your family. Remember to take it easy and try to find your happy place and keep as stress-free as possible this week. I am just like you...I am always counting ahead to my due dates, gender ultrasound dates, etc. lol Sooo glad that we will finally be able to be 2ww buddies.

Lou...Glad to hear that you spoke to your OB, but am still hoping the RE has something else to say about it. I am sorry that you are going through surgery. My prayers are with you. I agree with RIO get your DH some Mega Men vitamins from GNC and some CoQ10. Big Hugs.

Kbillsy...Ugh! Unfortunately, I think you may be right...converting to an IUI and/or waiting for a better cycle. Each month can be sooo different...next month might be wayyy better. I had the same problem as you last month...and this month it is much much better. You may want to wait till your next SnS and speak to the doc as well...before making such a tough decision though. Good Luck! Let us know what your E2 level comes back as today and keep us posted on everything. Saying lots of prayers that this cycle turns around for you...it can happen! PMA!

Margi...Keep up your PMA! It is still early girlie! I am hoping and praying for good news! Ki Ki the kitty stayed far away from my belly this time...we finally figured out what the deal was with him. I am embarrassed to say that when my ovaries get bigger during ER time and while pregnant...I tend to rest my hands on my belly...well, apparantly my fingers move alot while I am resting/sleeping according to my husband...and so being a kitten and all...he was attacking my moving fingers ...therefore pouncing on my belly...but just playing! lol Stupid, huh? But, I am glad that we finally figured out that he isnt possessed or anything. lol

Teresa...Thanks again for the pm's. You're a sweetheart.

Rio...Crazy dreams are a sign of a terrific pregnancy! So quit you're worrying. Heck, I'm not even pregnant and last night dreamt that I was given a shot of brandy in place of anesthesia!!! OMG, they werent even putting me under for ER! lol Then, they had to use my big left toe for the IV cause it was the only vein they could find. lol Then, one of my eggs fell from the tweezers that the doc was using to retrieve them and it fell on my bed next to my arm and she went to quickly regrab it and couldnt get it fast enough...and said "Oh darn, 10 second rule has passed...bummer, cause it was a good one, too." Oh and the egg...it looked just like one of those tan colored balls from on the salad bar at restaurants...gonzo beans, I think?...and it had this red dot inside of it...which was the egg. Weirrrd. So, uhm, yeah...they are just dreams. So quit worrying! lol Ok?

Cheri...How are you doing? Yes, you are being awfully quiet.

Stephanie...Good to hear from you! Thanks for the prayers for super eggs!

Chelle...Yayyy for starting stims! Your DH's response is sooo cute. Cysts happen sometimes...depending on your E2 level they either proceed or wait. I had one last month, but it was nothing...the same as yours is nothing to worry about. Progesterone levels are probably for after ER, right? My doc doesnt even believe in following progesterone levels. Dont worry about any of that right now...1 day at a time.

Karin...OMG!!! WOOHOOOO!!!! CONGRATS ON AN AWESOME BETA!!! How many dpo are you?! Has to be twins! Or maybe tripletts...my friend had one split and ended up with 3 boys...2 identical and 1 fraternal. I thinks its pretty funny that you jumped on here to tell us before calling your DH! lol

AFM: Things went okay. They only had to stab me 4 times with the IV to find a good vein...actually 8 times, if you count the 4 shots of local anesthetic they used to get the IV into very painful areas of my knuckles, hands, wrists...just trying to find anywhere it would take. I told them my dream of them using my toe...and they told me they just might have to do that. lol  Last month they stabbed me 5 times or 10 counting the local...so this was a little bit better. While they were stabbing me for the last time...the doc...the new doc whom I have heard horrible things about came in and introduced himself...and while he was shaking my hand, he sat down beside me and continued to hold my hand...and held it tightly while they finally got the IV into my knuckle of my other hand. Wow! I take it all back. That was very kind of him...because at this point...Bill was outside of my room....nearly passed out.

He got 5 eggs. We knew going in that I had 6 follies growing and that 5 of them were for sure (or should be) mature and that 1 may not be...unfortunately the 1 that may or may not be mature was in that group. So hoping and praying it was mature after all and that we have 5 mature, 5 fertilize, and 5 to transfer. Being realistic though...I am guessing that when they call me tomorrow that they will tell me that 4 were mature and 3 or 4 fertilized. Fingers crossed.

Oh by the way...I know it seems like I triggered quickly...but really I did stim for 8.5 days this time instead of 6.5 days (like in Sept, when I got pregnant/miscarried) and 9 days (in October)...so that is awesome...and I am feeling good about this cycle. This is the cycle that we jump started the follies...and then cut my dose after 2 days...and it seemed to work. We got follies all about the same size this time. I dont do bcp's and start the lupron at the same time (or the night before) the stims start...so my cycles are very close together. It's just my protocol.

My friend's little Zachary (just turned 1) is having that tumor removed early Wednesday morning...it is a little bigger than the size of a golf ball and in a very difficult area of his chest. I am sooo worried for him. I'll be praying hard for him and also for Ryann's dad that day. :(

Still feeling pretty queasy right now. They forgot to give me zofran while under...and didnt give it to me till after the nausea started...ugh. I hate ER days. I'd rather do weeks of PIO shots than deal with ER day. I think I will go get some rest now. Hope everyone has a terrific day.

Tammy - you cracked me up with your dream of your garbanzo bean egg! How awesome you got 5 eggs out of 6 follies, great rate! Praying really hard they are all mature! Yep all 5 mature and fertilize and you transfer all 5 and some split and you go on to have your own TLC show, Bill and Tammy plus 8! Oh that includes Zach already ;) But seriously I am super happy for you and I am so glad you had a good ER and Thursday will be our super lucky day! Will you transfer all again? Can't wait about the super fert report! Fingers crossed and heck I will cross my legs too since I can't have sex! Thanks for the PMA, you are a sweetheart!

Lauren1171 - that is so scary - such a good thing you asked to see dr!

Tammy - congrats - sounds like ER went well except all the poking - rest up and get ready for ET!!

ChelleDe - yay for starting your stims!!

Karin - wow - that is an awesome beta definitely sounds like more than one :) :)

AFM - thanks for those of you who commented - makes me feel better to know that others agree that it may be better to switch to IUI. I've already been taking DHEA since August - and also taking royal jelly and eating healthier and doing relaxation (yoga and massage) - so I am really disappointed that the results so far are not looking better. I'll have to look up femara - I'm not familiar with that one. Nurse called this afternoon with bw - estradiol is up to 129 so it is increasing but I'm pretty sure that is still low for where it should be on day 8. She said it is our call if we want to switch to IUI but that we don't have to decided right away - the protocol would be the same for the next 2 days regardless. I was hoping they would cut back my meds so I could save more of what i have to use on the next cycle but she wants me to stay at 450 gonal and 150 menopur - you think that is overkill? my one follicle is already at 17 and it only needs to get to 18 for them to have me trigger.

Such exciting things going on with this group! I love seeing all the BFP's and Beta numbers!!! Congrats to all!!!

AFM- Had another beta today and my numbers are now negative. AF started today as well and is just not being very nice! I have to go in tomorrow for a RhoGAM injection. After that DH and I just need to meet with my RE to discuss next steps. I want to know if I need to go back on BCP or just wait. I had a few questions for the nurse today but she was in a rush which in turn pissed me off :) Still trying to be positive but having some moments!

Congratulations Karin and Crystal!!!!!

Tammy - I didn't know they had trouble finding your veins. Do they with regular blood tests too? That's crazy! I hate needles so I would faint lol! They always use my hand when I go.

Chell - I normally do stims for 14 or 15 days then trigger. I do 450 Gonal F and 150 Menepur. They started me on Cetrotide on Saturday also. They never give me my progesterone #. at my last F/U I asked my RE why and he said my numbers are always good. I wouldn't know good from bad anyway.

I had so much more to write but I can't scroll back so I forget lol! I hope
my blood levels rise by Wed because I would hate to get cancelled after 11 nights of shots. If so I am having sex lol!

Lauren 1171 - hoping your numbers rise nicely for trigger!

jennies - again, I am so sorry. Why do you have to take a shot? Let us know how the meeting with RE goes!

kbillsy - I hate to keep repeating myself but I lose track on where I posted what so my suggestions are: DHEA, royal jelly, wheatgrass, acupuncture, Coenzyme q10 and my RE added Femara before my antagonist protocol for 5 days. Oh and cut non fat and low fat dairy out of your diet, google fertility diet on times and they say eat all full fat dairy if you are trying to conceive that actually eating low fat and no fat dairy is detrimental to your fertility. Hope this helps!!!

Margi 3 more nights until your BFP!!!

Michelle: Yeah on starting stims! That is indeed exciting...keep up your wonderful positive spirit!

Tammy: Ouch about the IVs....but glad it worked out with RE being a decent guy after all. ER days stink, but its the only way to get to ET and then on to your BFP!!!! So hold onto those positive visualizations while your quesiness goes away and your ovaries slowly return to normal. I am very happy to hear that Ki Ki isn’t “possessed, or psychic! LOL. Glad that you and DH solved the mystery and can prevent any unfortunate "leaps".

So much good news here today....sending tons of baby dust to all!!

Yay Ryann so glad your lining is looking good for Fridays FET!

Leora- I'm so glad Sunday is just about here for you!! If all goes well..I'll be joining you, Ryann and Tammy in the same 2WW timeframe. So exciting!!

I went to have my ultrasound today to see how my follies are growing and my left side is doing just great. Its the right side that seems to be lagging. So I'm a bit frustrated because I only paid for 1 full ivf cycle hoping I could get a few eggs to freeze incase first try doesn't work out. Now it looks like I must decide this week whether to pay the difference for the low cost 2-cycle plan or just cross my fingers something happens in the next couple days and I get more follies. They did up my Follistim to 225 for the next 3 days. Uh..so confused about what to do..but I just had to vent. THanks all for listening. This process is so stressful especially when you are gambling with all your savings. Also they upped my ET date to Monday.. instead of next Wednesday. Thats the news for me.. I'm so excited for some of the new BFPs on this board.. Congrats and baby dust to you all!

Tammy......I'm glad your ER went well...5 is great! :D Sounds like the longer stim could have made a big difference. Sorry ER was so painful, but the Dr was sweet. Maybe he did romance you a little by holding your hand. That was nice of him. I've only had one ER and it wasn't terrible. So with my experience of ER and PIO....I would take ER any day of the week. These PIO shots are killing me. I'll be saying a prayer for your friend's baby. Oh.....and bite your tongue.....triplets? How scary is that?

Rio.....I've heard that pregnancy dreams are crazy. Don't let them scare you. You're doing great! I've already started having weird dreams too.

Leora......you'll be PUPO in no time!

Ryann.....Yay! Finally! let's get your show on the road so you can be preggo before Christmas! I'll be praying for your Dad. Hope all goes well.

to.have.fun.......Thank you so much! Did I see in your signature that you chose a donor?

Crystal.....Congrats on twins! :D :D

Margi......Isn't it still early? Fingers and toes crossed for a BFP!

Lou.....Your head must be spinning. It's like....how hard is it to get a straight answer without going in and poking around? So sorry that you're going through surgery...that sucks. Then again, maybe if they clear your tube you can get pregnant naturally?

Lauren.....What an ordeal? Must've been scary. Praying your iron level get back to normal. Like IVF isn't enough that you'd have to deal with something like this. At least they caught....thank goodness.

AFM.......Well...I am still a little shocked at my beta number....ECSTATIC....but shocked. I guess it's better to be high than low...right? We will be happy with twins and scared if there's more. Before we did the transfer DH asked if we could put in 3 and he said no because they were good quality and I am too small for triplets. Shoot...if it were up to DH we'd have a litter. Whatever happens....happens. I'm praying for a healthy pregnancy....no matter the number. I go in for another beta on Thursday. He said u/s next week I think. I also called the finance girl and asked her about getting my meds covered and she said that it would be since my status has been changed to pregnant. So now I don't have to worry about out of pocket expense for my u/s and b/w. What a relief that is!

I know that I missed a bunch of you ladies. It's been a long day. This is all I could remember. Sending all of you lots of baby dust!
