So this was really just to check and be sure that we aren't dealing with an ectopic...and we aren't! That is a load off my shoulders.

The RE did not spend any time measuring and looking very close, but....There are definitely 2 sacs!!! Get this though...there is a possible 3rd, it's a little smaller and she said it may be a subchorionic hemorrhage, who knows. I know for sure one sac had a yolk sac...I couldn't tell on the other one because they didn't both show at the same time, one looks to be right next to the other...in fact all 3 of the things we saw are right next to each other, but only one shows at a time, depending on which way the wand was moved. Now I wait on pins and needles until next week to see heartbeats..and to see if 2 are really 3, or if I have a bleed. I wish she would have spent more time measuring and looking closer, but that wasn't what I was there for...so waiting game again. :) Good news though...we've got at least 2!
Great news!!!! When is your next ultrasound??? YAY!!!

Well, crap...I'm bleeding. It's bright red, and it's not a little. I am hoping it's just that extra spot that the RE thought was either an SCH, or a 3rd sac that was a little smaller. I'm cramping, not sure what to do, my hubby is out of town. Say a prayer for me please. I think I will be back in to see the RE tomorrow.

That's scary and I hate that you are enduring this!! It's totally possible that it's the SCH - it's VERY common!! Lay down, keep your feet up and take a Tylenol for your cramping. Chances are it is just that third spot, or it *could* be loss of one of the sacs. Do not get discouraged right now - there is every reason to be hopeful. And DO go to see the RE tomorrow for another scan. Please keep us posted. Big Hugs.

Could also just be from the ultrasound if it was internal! Fingers crossed but I'm sure all will be fine!

Thanks ladies for the reassurance. I appreciate it. The cramping isn't as bad right now...and I am not gushing like it started. So I'm thinking SCH...had a few of those before. Just need that placenta to heal so we don't have any more problems. Never a dull moment in this fertility stuff. I will let you all know, if I am able to get in to the office tomorrow. I am not sure if the RE comes into this office tomorrow....otherwise, she is an hour and a half away when the traffic is good...and that is never around here. Let you know!

Mellow - for sure it sounds like the SCH, those damn things are friggin' ANNOYING and terrifying. I'm with kizmet that an internal u/s could have aggravated it, my second bleed came after we had gentle sex for the first time. A "gush" is typical, no cramps or mild cramping is normal, and it's even more common with multiples. I'm so sorry you have to go through this, and without your DH! You sound like you have a good grip on the situation and aren't panicking, so that's good, you definitely don't need any extra stress. Let us know how everything goes in the morning, I'm sure it's going to be fine.

mellow...Congrats on the US, but I'm so sorry you are bleeding...AND that you are all alone. It's sounds like you are pretty positive though, which is great! Let us know if you get into the RE today and what they say. In the meantime, kick your feet up and relax!!! I hope DH is staying warm!!!

karen...I'm sorry you're struggling with truly embracing this, I can't imagine the loss you went through. Hopefully as you progress everything will fall into place...and if you're needing a "pick me up", you know where to find us!

AFM....another BFP this morning. The whole rest of my 2ww doesn't seem quite as long as waiting to get to tomorrow. Today if going to just draaaag and then tomorrow waiting for the phone call?! Yikes! I caved and told my mom and sister! Both are totally excited, but I told them they HAD to wait until my official beta tomorrow before getting TOO excited (who am I kidding....I'm already there!!!!!).

Don't you love testing and knowing it will be a BFP? :) I'm so excited for you and totally happy that you shared with your sis and mom! Can't wait for your beta tomorrow...what do you think it will be? I'm thinking over 200..

Congrats, Mellow! I'm sorry you are bleeding. Let's hope it is just a small SCH. I had those with my twin pregnancy. It was annoying and scary! I'm excited to see another twin momma on here! Although I'm happy to only have one this time! xoxo

Sonya...I am not setting any expectations for my beta tomorrow. As long as it is positive I am going to make the best out of whatever the number may be. I would assume it should be pretty strong, being that by tomorrow I will have had 7 days of positive HPTs, but I have learned that anything can happen!

Thank you all for your kind words. I had another round of bleeding last night, still bright red and cramping with it. I can already feel my uterus above the pubic bone and every time I had cramping it was hard as a rock. Through the night though I didn't have any more bleeding, so that is good. My RE's office doesn't open for another hour, I will have to wait and see if the RE is even coming in today. I suppose I could call my OB that delivered my son this year...but that is hard, it's hard to be around Doctors who know what we went through and why we are in the situation we are in..on the other hand though he does understand and is a little more compassionate because of it. It's a tough call, I don't have anyone else to go to. Thinking I am going to need a perinatologist too, and I have to go to a different hospital. It's all a huge pain. I think I would be freaking out more if I hadn't had the ultrasound yesterday. When she said possible SCH, I knew what that meant, and while I hate it, at least I have something to go on right now. More hurry up and wait. Isn't that all part of this crazy life...I need some calm and uneventfullness in my life. Yes, that would be really good. DH comes home Thursday night. So until then, I am on my own, and trying to make it look like nothing is up with me so my kids don't freak out.

We need better news before we share with them...their hearts have been broken this year. :(
For now, remaining hopeful.

Ryann, great news to get so many positive hpts before your beta! Good luck tomorrow. :)
