Rio - CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to hear more! :D

KatieG - Congratulations on your twins! :D :D Your oldest will be older than mine was when my twins were born (she was only 16 months!) but I'm sure you will share some of the same challenges we did. If you'd like to hear about my twin/toddler experience or you would like someone to commiserate with you about your pregnancy (it was tough with two in there!) just let me know! I will say that for all the difficulties it is amazing. Mine little ones are almost 10 months old now (I can't believe it!) and are interacting more and more with my toddler and it is the most heart melting thing to see :D

Hope everyone is having great holidays!

Rio- omg my Shepherd is HUGE! Look at the xmas pic I took of him:

How is everyone? I am stupid excited about Christmas this year! Ella is into EVERYTHING and it is going to be soooo much fun. Of course I went way overboard, but hey, she is only going to be this age once, right? (of course I will probably say that every year...lol)

So good news on the IVF front. I have a consult with my dr the 27th, OB appt the 23rd. I am planning on doing all of the ivf prep-tests (it has been over a year so I need to repeat them all) over the next 2 months and we are planning to cycle late may/early june. This way if the first try doesn't work, we can try again before I have to go back to work at the end of august.

I hope everyone is well and may all of you enjoy your holidays this year!

Hey girls! I hope all is well. Cute picture CT. I'm glad you get to start your testing soon! Rio I still try and keep track of you and Tammy on the IVF threads. I remember having OHSS with Parker and it was no fun. I hope you get some relief soon! Mellie I do have a question for you. How long did you carry the twins? I am worried about PTL. I will feel better as I get closer to 30 weeks but I guess I have read to many sad stories of things going wrong before 26-28 weeks. I am only working 2 more weeks then I will be on modified bed rest. He just wants me sitting/lying down as much as possible. 2 weeks ago I would have said I feel great don't think I need to that early. But now I understand. I am starting to slow down and I feel tight and strethed a lot more. I look forward to spending that time with Parker before all our worlds change. Well I hope everyone has a great holiday and I will probably be checking more now that I will be back at home all day.

CT_Michele -- YAY! So happy to hear that you are able to cycle again. Dog is waaay cute, btw.

KatieG -- I carried them for 36 weeks and a few days. They monitored me very closely after my 32 week ultrasound b/c my little girl wasn't growing enough. They think her placenta was just in a non-optimal location. I worked 3 days a week up until the end (worked on Friday and had them on Monday). I was fortunate. No real problems but very uncomfortable.

It was and is really difficult to have 3 so young. I constantly worry about them getting enough individual attention. I mean, I make myself nutso worrying sometimes. I don't know if other multiple Moms have the same concerns but for me that was major. But, I can tell you that now (twins are almost 10 months old) I am beginning to see how they all benefit from each other. It still worries me sometimes and I feel for them when they have to wait for me or when my oldest has been playing by herself all afternoon b/c I've been tied up with the babies but I am beginning to see little relationships forming between them and that is so precious.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that in case you go through what I went through in the beginning. I wish someone would've reassured me (from experience) that it will all be worth it for them. :D

I will take any advice/reassurance I can get. I too worry about Parker and how I can be in 3 places at once. Did you nurse the twins? I am going to give it a fighting chance but I know it will be so hard. I am lucky that my Parents and sister live close to help. I just want to really take it all in since I'm sure this is it. I can't imagine more then 3 kids. Infact I still can't imagine having 3 :D

CT - your shepherd is huge! How gorgeous! I posted for you on another thread about how excited I am that you got insurance again! I am excited about Xams this year too! It is so fun to see them finally get so excited for gifts!

Mellie - Katie - you are my heros! I am so excited for you girls! 3 little babies running around and Katie with 3 boys, oh my!

Tammy is I think about a week from her next beta and I am hoping she gets a BFP. I have another US tomorrow since my first one was too early to see anything but one sac. I am praying big time for a healthy baby in there! The final pounds from OHSS do not want to leave me so I am struggling with feeling awful and trying to be a good mommy to our son. We ent through an ectopic a couple of months ago and that was hard so I am really praying that this one is a healthy bean!

Seriously - can you believe this? I have been in a complete panic over seeing a sac and nothing else in the last week and today:
TWO GORGEOUS HEARTS BEATING!

I am in complete shock and DH is scared out of his mind! I was looking so hard at the monitor and I saw a flicker and asked is that a hearbeat? And OB said yep, it sure it, so I was crying tears of joy and squeezing DH's hand when OB said, I see tow hearts beating   Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? He said the y both measure fine, I don't even remember a number or anything but he said they are both perfect and both hearts beating. I am still in disbelief. THen OB commented, a lot can change in week huh? WOW, I need to digest this news. I am so happy!

OMG! This is insane that we now have 3 of your that had one and got twins on the next bfp! And you know what is weird? I had a dream last week that Ella was a twin and I wondered if that was a sign that twins might be coming for me on my next cycle. Congrats to all of you!

Michelle - I think 4 makes perfect, twinsies for you too!

Mellie - you are our coach here!

Wow my head is still spinning! Last night when I was asking my son if he wanted a brother or sister he said "two brothers" I smiled and giggled because we had seen one sac earlier and thought that was so cute, OMG he was right!

One of the twins lost his heartbeat and he is not going to make it. The other one seems very healthy.
I am just so upset right now. I know having twins was going to be complicated and risky but I already was in love with him/her and I am really sad. We go in again on Thursday to make sure. One in five twins don't make it, I just never thought we would be the statistic. Also they say once you see a heartbeat and sac measuring well that your chances of losing that baby are 8%, I didn't think we would be in the 8% either.

I am praying so hard that the one baby is healthy and we can meet him/her in 8 months!

Wow all of you mama's must be as busy as me!

How is everyone? Rio, how goes the pregnancy? What about all of the other pregnancies? Mellie? Katie? I have lost track of everyone, I am soooooo busy!

So I am back on the ivf train. I am currently on lupron and will start stimming on April 1st, ER/ET w/o April 11. We are planning on risking our chances on the one frozen vial of sperm we have left from "Ella's batch." Everyone keep those fingers crossed for us!

Ella is great. Exhausting, but great. Work is exhausting too and the photography business is booming, just about at wedding season now. I am in the process of switching Ella's daycare. Going from a center to a home setting. we are also looking into preschool for the fall. We applied for a really great magnet program, full day, everyday, free...but we got wait-listed so I think we will need other options. Ella is also still working with birth to three for developmental/language delays and will be going under board of ed review for preschool services. So she may qualify for services through our school district too. It's all just a waiting game right now. Our house is on the market (and probably will be forever, no interest at all yet) and we are hoping to move to a bigger house soon!

I hope everyone is doing great and I hope to hear from everyone soon! :D

YaY CT_Michele! Wishing you more success with "Ella's batch"!

We would like to move, too. We really need more space. It may make more sense to rent our place out and rent something larger for awhile. We'll see.

I am still working 3 days per week. Our nanny quit and so we decided to put Evie in a "pre-preschool" for 4 hours a day 3 days a week and hire a nanny for the twins and for Evie in the afternoons on those day. Basically, everything I earn take-home pays for childcare but at least I provide us with group health insurance (my DH is self-employed). Anyone know anything about private insurance? We have considered my staying home for awhile but can't lose our health insurance.

Kids are great. Twins are walking and babbling. Lots of personality! Benjamin is very happy-go-lucky and friendly. Cecilia is very funny but highly suspicious of strangers still. Evie is my "clone" as my best friend says. She loves books and has a "studious" way about her. I feel so very blessed to have them.

And, I must say the chaos level gets better and better all the time. There is never a dull moment around here and I am constantly struggling to get everything done during the day but I feel like the kids are having fun and that everyone is mostly happy.

Anyone else out there? Rio? How's everything going? Katie? Corny (Stacey) I read your blog. Hope you are doing well. The girls are BEAUTIFUL!!!
