Tiger: The hot springs were my absolute favorite. To sit in a waterfall of hot water…ah…to me, heaven. But if you don’t like the heat, it wouldn’t be good. It is good to have another IUI-sister out there—seems like a growing number of us! And with Annshope getting a BFP on a natural cycle of IUI it is all very encouraging!
Katie: Only one more sleep until your beta! What a wonderful Christmas present indeed. Praying for a nice strong number for you.
Ginger: How are you doing? Resting up? Letting those embies snuggle in tight?!
Heather: So exciting! Wish you could share your line with the group. We really would like to see it. It’s like crack-candy to us addicts.
Meinemo: How are you doing? You are awfully quiet. Hope that you are having a wonderful Holiday season.
Leora: Sounds like you guys have a lot of decisions to make. Wow. When I started this process I was so naïve and had no idea all the decisions, thoughts, feelings and education would be needed. My eyes have surely been opened over the past 2 years. Hope that your appt on Monday goes well and you get all your questions answered. And regarding a Spring board? What are you talking about?!

You will be on the next pregnancy board by then my friend!! You and me both. I mean it.
Justsolost: Welcome!! Have no fear…you have come to the right place! You will never meet a more wonderful group of strong and understanding women. The best support there is. You say that you are a

?? Hm…I think you sound pretty brave to me. This is a very difficult journey—and it sounds to me like you have done a lot of research and are up for it! Let us know any questions at all that you may have. And, for the record, not much goes into TMI category. Tell us all about your whizzing and anything else!! And, I can’t give you a chicken blinkie, especially not to a POAS/PIAC friend…more like…
How’s that for an intro blinkie?
Kelly: How is your mom doing? How are you doing with the PIO? Glad they aren’t as painful for you as you had anticipated. Hope your supply is fine. You are so strong and determined, huh? Not gonna be tempted by your fellow POAS-buddies? Not even a bit? I little tiny tinkle on a stick with FMU? We won’t tell. But, only 7 more sleeps until beta!! As for telling people? Perhaps a little different for me because of my age, but other than a very small core of people—plus all you ladies—I won’t even be telling my family members until close to 12 weeks probably. But if I were younger, probably much earlier. Very personal decision—go with your gut. Some people are more open about their lives in general than others, so you just need to do what feels comfortable and right for you.
Hope: Your baby-in-a-box should arrive today. Yeah! That much closer! Definitely will make things seem real when you open it! Don’t let it overwhelm you.
Dahlias: Meeting with RE was today, correct? How’d it go? What is the plan?
Carol/CJ: What will your protocol be? What injectibles will you be using? I have used Gonal-F and added Menopur for this last cycle and got a pretty strong response. I am hoping this cycle will be it for me.

And regarding women in their 40s that just “happen” to get pregnant. I hear ya. Keep up the faith!

I am hoping and praying I will have 2 lines to show you soon that will serve as encouragement! That is my plan!
Lauren1171: It has been a few days since we heard from you…all ok? Just busy with the holidays?
Kildean: Where are you!?!?! Where are your sticks?!?! You cannot hide from the POAS-patrol!
Lou: “Have I POASed yet?”

Did you mean, today? This hour? LOL. Of COURSE. I am POASing every morning--and will likely be increasing that rate as I get closer to beta. Trying not to get too anxious about it yet—right. Well I guess I am starting to a bit. I think I am ready to be Mayor of Crazytown! I am 9 dpo today. Hoping to get my BFP soon!!!! I would be standing on my head next to you if it would guarantee it!

If I get a BFN this time my acupuncturist really wants me to take a month or two off to let her give me herbs as well. Not sure at my age I can afford a couple months off…hopefully I won’t have to decide that.
Pauleen: Your appt was yesterday, right? Did I miss your post regarding the results? What are your next steps towards bringing your frosties home?
Ana: How are you feeling?
NwQuiz: Are you taking it easy? Still need to be BDing however.
Annashope: YES!!!!!!! I am crying tears of relief and joy for you. I know I said it before, but this is just so “perfect”. So beyond happy for you and DH. Take wonderful care of yourself pregnant momma!!!!
AFM: Delivered Christmas presents to many deserving children today. One delivery was to a former client of mine—who just had her 5th baby. She just turned 21. Every last one has been “an accident”. Sigh. But, not going to let anything get me down today. Anna had fabulous news a moment before I posted this!!! And Rio will have some in a few hours—darn “you people” living on the West Coast! LOL. I gotta get off this board and back to work. Praying for all you strong ladies.
