Have y'all seen this website/app?
http://ivfpredict.com --- you put in your details (age, # of attempts, protocol, etc) and it 'predicts' your odds of live birth on your next IVF cycle.....
With my age (24), number of attempts (5 unsuccessful - ie, no live births), our fertility issue (male factor), protocol (ICSI and stims) ----- I get a 21% chance of live birth on my next IVF cycle. That seems *low*.... much lower than the 1/3 per embryo transferred that my doctor told me.
The two main things I see missing from this little quiz are (1) how many embryos transferred and (2) quality of embryos/ 3 vs 5 day transfer.
ETA: I emailed the professor who created this - and he said that it was based on UK data, meaning transferred 2 embryos for women under 40 and almost all day 2 or 3 transfers. He said that the survey takes into account all the previous attempts - which is what lowers my odds so much.
21%? Really? And I thought I had fantastic odds because we are so young and dealing with male factor..... are these really "good" odds?
Anyone else have input?
