Hi all...I've been without DSL since mid-January but I've been trying to keep up on my cell phone. My eyes are almost crossed from trying to read that little screen.

Tammy...CONGRATS!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you.

And to all the other hot new mommas, HIGH FIVE!!
To those that have seen the BFN's show their ugly faces, it will get better and I'm sending tons of hugs your way.

AFM-I have been on Lupron, low dose HCG and Follistim. I started with 225 of Follistim but after 2 days I was reduced to just 75. I hope that was a good thing. AF was a terror for 3 weeks straight. I have no clue why that was but she left and I started my stims. It took them a while to get me where I needed to be I guess because I was on Lupron for 4 days past the date I was supposed to start stimming. So that meant that my ER for today was supposed to move to this coming Friday. Well when the RE did my u/s on Saturday (stim day 6), she was really surprised and said I'd probably trigger a little earlier. So when she saw me today, after my u/s and b/w results, she decided that I should trigger tonight and have my ER on Wednesday. So that was interesting. I'm hoping my follicles aren't over baked in there. So my ER is Wednesday morning and I'll go in for pre-op on tomorrow. Now since my DSL is back up and running, I'll do a better job of keeping up.

Lou...Glad to hear that everything is pretty much back to normal and in a nice short 4 hr window, too. Mine went on for a couple of days. I know how scared you are...hang in there. I hope that you get an early u/s tomorrow to help relieve your fears...but remember they will not see much at this point. Hugs!

Ashley - you don't need to "man-up". Take as long as you need to grieve. Even though this loss was so early in your pregnancy, you still are losing a baby and all the hopes and dreams that go with that. Also - approx 25% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage - you are a lot less alone than you feel. Try reaching out to some friends. Unfortunately, many have probably been through this. Of course, miscarriage after infertility treatments is especially hard, although just as common as miscarriage in general. Big big big hugs to you.

Tammy - HURRAY! Hopefully this one will STAY PUT! I'm so excited for you and want to hear a great beta number on Friday. How about some pictures of that BFP?

Lou - as much as I love HPTs..... STOP PEEING! sheesh. You are only freaking yourself out. I promise you are very much so pregnant. Just try to relax.... only one more week. (and for the record, that second HPT looks just as good as the first one!)
--just read your second post about spotting --- most pregnancies have some spotting - especially IVF pregnancies. Everything is probably all fine. Can you get an early u/s for peace of mind?

Kimber - I'm so so sorry. BFNs absolutely suck. big hugs from across the ocean.

Samantha - there does seem to be a few days of really bad luck around here. Hopefully things will turn around in time for our BFPs! Good luck at your ER today!

SD - thanks for the daily pee report - 8dpo is still waayyyy too early - but keep peeing!

AFM - (since I know y'all skipped the first part to get to my ER update)---- 17 eggs! woohoo! I call tomorrow at 9am to get my fert report. ET is probably on Sunday (day 5) unless there aren't so many, then we'll do Thur (day2) or Fri (day 3).

We had a bit of an 'issue' this morning. DH assumed we still had some sterile sample cups leftover from last time... but we couldn't find them last night! He was supposed to bring his 'half' along with us this morning, fresh. But we weren't sure if a non-sterile cup would be okay. So we decided last night that we would go early this morning and he could provide his sample at the hospital. We get there and get him a cup and he heads off to the bathroom. I'm sitting and waiting for my doctor. Anesthesiologist comes by, so does the surgical nurse, and my doctor.... still no sign of David! After 20 min, I go off to the bathroom looking for him. POOR GUY! He was having issues. So I decided to 'help'..... but then the nurses came looking for me! So I had to leave to the OR while he kept 'working on it'.... when I woke up from the ER 30 min later... still no luck! He was so upset! He felt so guilty that after all the needles, checkups, pain and surgery I went through, he couldn't masturbate in the bathroom! He just kept getting more and more stressed out - which didn't help at all. And then my doctor came over. He suggested that we go home and bring back the sample as soon as we could.(David was mortified and says we have to switch docs because he doesn't think he can ever face him again!) My in-laws live much closer to the hospital, and they were both at work, so we headed over there for some 'alone time'. I was post-op, plus they insist on no saliva, lube or vaginal mixed in with the semen sample.... so we did what we could in his childhood bedroom. He says it was probably the worst orgasm he's ever had! He says he felt the ghost of his 13-year-old self crying somewhere

Long story short - we finally got what we needed from him and dropped it off at the hospital. They gave us another 5 sterile sample cups, in case we ever need. Hopefully - those little guys will do their job, even though they were quite stubborn about making an appearance this morning!

I just got home and I'm really in the mood for cinnamon buns.... so I'm baking!

Also - did anyone else ever feel the need to POAS when they know the trigger is still there, just to get the BFP? I'm oddly tempted to waste a HPT.....

Focus on being healthy and enjoy your pregnancy. stop messing your PMA! like others said we always going to worry about something so justy relax and stop thinking negative about the spotting, i have heard so many stories with spotting that end up with a healthy baby! you are one of them stop worrying, everything will be fine! wait & see ((hugs))


ConnieC- Welcome on board! me and my DH have allways told our parents and friends but this time, on our 5th IVF cycle we have decided not to tell anyone. We have our RE appt on the 28th for the meds and no one knows about it. we have told everybody after our last BFN that we are going to relax for a while and take a break from the IVF. Everytime people ask us all the time on the days of ER and ET and especially on Beta day! "did the doctor call you? did the doctor call you? every 5 minutes!" it is so hard and stressfull. I know that they all mean well, and believe me, if we had some good news to share I wouldn't mind them calling me every second!. but its a negative so far and I dont even want to pick up the phone. we decided to surprise them this time with our BFP! as soon as I hear a heartbeat Iam telling! Iam sure I will not be able to control my self! i will want the whole world to know we are having a baby! ...all the best to you on Thursday!

Tammy- Congratulations!!!!!!! You did it girl!!!!Bravo!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!! I wish that we could get only BFP's on this board! its so overwelming to hear good news from a fellow friend that's been through so much to get to see those 2 lines! Leorira- I have the same thoughts my friend! I think we all do! and having someone to to cheer you with positive energy is the best thing! I am glad you are getting my vibes! For me, it makes things feel better. This is the reason I have joined this board. all the ladies here have similar fertility issues struggling physically and most of all emotionally with infertility. Personally speaking only my DH and you ladies can understand what Iam feeling and especially my agony and fear's through this journey. Because you all are going through the same stuff. I "see" it your posts and I am leaving your agonies, negatives and positives. We are all in this together and even though we have never met and even if its such a short time "we know" each other, we all you ladies I feel a connection that I dont have even with my best friend. Its so good to have someone that is not "borred" with your "situation" and understand what you are going through. only you gals can do that. Tammy - what's funny is this is the first time EVER we've ever had any kind of problem like that. As soon as we tell doctor's that we have a male factor problem, they assume erection and/or ejaculation - but it's not! Simply the quantity of sperm. I know you always hear that "it happens to every guy".... so I guess now it's happened to him!

Here is my HPT pic. I decided I'm not crazy for peeing and taking a pic of my trigger, but maybe I am. It seems quite faint for a trigger - I took the trigger about 42 hours ago. (one vial of Ovitrelle) The test is supposed to be 10iu/ml, but this is a different test that I got my real BFP on in the summer. hmmmm......

She didn't seem concerned at all since it had stopped. What progesterone are you on? Try to relax-but call the RE then maybe you can sneak in early
