Hi guys! thank you so much for checking in on me - no call from the doctor yet. he likes to make these calls himself - and sometimes he is busy with a procedure or something. anyway, just patiently waiting here....

Ladies! It was a positive!!! A very cautiously positive - a beta of only 20. But the doc said that it' still pretty early - only 13 days after ER - so he thinks its ok to have a low number like that for me. But he did caution me that we are not out of the woods yet and he wants me back on monday to check on it again.

:D Hi Ladies!! I have been working like crazy and haven't had time to post, although I have been stalking the thread reading all the stories out there. I promise going forward I will be posting more !!

So here is where I am at, some things have changed!
Looks like transfer will be between April 9-12. Just ordered my $6k worth of meds yesterday and those will be delivered on March 9th. Have my baseline U/S on March 16th and we start Lupron on the 19th. Tomorrow is my last B/C pill in this pack and I am jumping to another active pack on Monday. I swear though, my body wants to have AF so bad... I am cramping like crazy and it just feels heavy in there! TMI.. sorry!!

My RE clinic (which is a new one from my last two IVF attempts) is making DH and I talk a shot class :? and an egg class. The shot class is meant to re-train us on how to inject and then the egg class is run by the embryologist. It's basically informational about how everything works. They 'require' these classes so we have no choice but to go... blah

We are opting for a shared risk plan, I think that is how it's referred too? Basically we pay $14,400 and get two fresh cycles and three FET's. HOWEVER... if we make it to 12 weeks on the first try we basically loose those other chances. I would rather make it to 12 weeks then get the extra cycles.. I just WANT that BFP this time!!! We are also doing PGD for this cycle since the RE really can't understand why we haven't had our BFP yet. We want to make sure we find that golden egg this time, and the chances are supposed to be higher, but I have read that it might not really be true. Even so we are paying an additional $6k for PGD for piece of mind. The kinda cool thing about PGD is that you know what the sex of the embryos are before they put them in. It's a little weird, but kinda neat.

So now to say hello to my new friends!!!

mom4sure: Glad I have a 3rd try buddy in all of this!!! I know this will be our cycle. I am going to have MORE PMA than I have ever had. I will have enough for this whole board!! I look forward to getting to know you!

LYD10- Congrats on the BFP! I have seen plenty of people with Beta's like that and they have beautiful babies now!!! I think we fixate on that number and want it to be a through the roof number, but nonetheless you have yourself a BFP! Enjoy it!

smoon- Welcome to this site, I can tell you that the people on these boards are the most awesome people ever. I was part of the November 2010 group and even though I had my Chemical then I felt so supported and lifted by that group of ladies. I cannot believe how much I have grown attached to these wonderful ladies.

Faithful2011: I am so sorry for your loss :( I hope that your FET in April brings you a BFP! I cannot imagine going through what you went through. You are a strong women and I am sure you will be a great support to all of us in this group :)

Moore: How do you get those cute blinkies!!! thanks for the Golden Egg blinkie... How do you get the tickers too? Hoping your consultation on the 1st brings some good information and news. I look forward to cycling with you. I have seen you on a few other threads and now I get to hang out with you on this one! YEAH!

LeeS- Hopefully I can lead this group with a BFP! Looking forward to cycling with you. I have feeling this is going to be a REALLY lucky board!

SDtrying-- I love that your stalking our thread and congrats on your BFP!!!! This gives me hope that I will get one too! Keep stalking us, and hey... share some of that baby dust? LOL

Michele- The pictures of your niece are darling!!! Thank you for keeping track of all of us in this group! I have such a poor attention to detail that I could never have that task LOL. I look forward to getting to know you and cycling.

I know I have missed some of you, forgive me ahead of time. I have to run to the store or DH isn't going to get fed tonight LOL.

Baby Dust to you all!!! I am so excited to cycle with all of you and to be a support to anybody that needs it. This group is going to be a MAJOR BFP group! Easter is right around the corner and Spring brings babies!!!

Crashing - moorebaby - super good luck on your appt tomorrow - hoping for great news!

Jenmink - good move on the shared plan, Murphy's law says that if you pay for two - you will get pregnant on the first one and lose the extra cash ;) but you get the prize!!!

Oh ladies, I have soooooo much catching up to do! I promise, I will try and catch up before the end of the week!

I am so bogged down under mounds and heaps of paperwork at school. CMT's (state testing) was supposed to start today, but b/c of all our snowdays, we are starting next week. My kids are not ready and are likely not going to do well. It is very stressful. Plus I am way behind on my first year teacher program that I need to participate in. Grrr...not want I want going into cycle, that's for sure! And, wedding season is right around the corner. Photography inquiries and paperwork has crazy lately.

Moore- What grade do you teach again? Are you doing cmt's? I wanted to jump on here tonight in between our "Words with Friends" turns to wish you good luck at consult tomorrow!

Lyd- Congrats on a bfp! We are all cautiously excited for you! Just so you know, my little princess Ella is living proof that low betas are ok. My beta with ella was only 36 at 15dpo.

I went today for my post-ovulation pre-lupron check-up. My female parts all look good and they will call with bw results tomorrow. I imagine I will be starting lupron injections this week. 1 month of lupron to go and then april 1st I start stimming! DH is going for SA next wednesday, but I expect nothing from that. We need to make a consult appt with uroligist to have him on backup for an emergency TESE.

Ok, I gotta get some sleep. I will be back to catch up with the rest of you soon and to update our list.

Hi Michelle - sorry to hear you are so bogged down with work! And thank you for sharing your beta experience with Ella. I had my 2nd beta today ( 4 days after my 1st beta, which was 20) and it was 54. so my beta doubling time is 67 hours. the normal range is 31-72 hours - so i am right on the edge there. But my doc was happy with the rise and wants me back in 1 week for another beta. So i dont know what to make of this. My doc is not the type to sugarcoat things. He likes to manage expectations and be realistic. So the fact that he is OK with this makes me kind of relaxed. He's been practicing for a long time and has seen his share of pregnancies! I guess i'll just take it one week at a time and hopefully will get to my heartbeat U/S, followed by healthy genetic screening, and finally a delivery of a healthy baby. One step at a time!
